July 25 South Africa (Fairview) form anaylsis
Race 1 (2,400m) (1) GARDEN SUN was found to be not striding out when a disappointing fifth. He tries even further this time. He was in good form before that. (5) GLOBAL SCENE made good late progress last time, so should like this distance. (6) SEMPRE BELLA improved on the Polytrack but could have more to offer. (4) INCENDIARY should like this longer distance and could show vast improvement. Race 2 (1,600m) More was expected from (2) BEACH QUEEN but she appeared to hate the Polytrack. She is better than that run suggests and can bounce back to beat these rivals. (3) AMANATTO needed the last run on the Polytrack and should be a threat back on the grass. (4) JUST FOR U is holding form and is clearly not out of it. (1) GENTEEL is not reliable but can contest the finish. Race 3 (1,600m) (4) MR FOX seemed to be undone by a slow pace last time. He was very impressive in his penultimate start which was on the grass and he can bounce back to score. (2) DOWSER put in a very good effort last time and can contest the finish again. (5) GREEN MANDARIN has been unlucky twice in a row and looks likely to contest the finish this time. (7) HAARLEM is in good form and would not be a surprise winner. Race 4 (1,600m) (4) RED WILLIAM is in good shape. He was a winner when last on the grass and can win again. (8) COURAGEOUS is rarely too far behind and can get involved with the finish again. (5) TWILIGHT BAY made all to be a very easy winner last time and could have more to offer. (6) CHEERFUL CHARLIE B only tired last time and his yard is in good form, so he might earn some money. Race 5 (1,200m) A very competitive sprint and it might pay to go very wide. (2) DUBAI HILLS has been good on the Polytrack of late and has also won on the turf. (3) FOREST SPY has been consistent all of this year, so would not be a surprise winner. (1) PAS DE NOM is worth a place bet. (4) KING'S RANSOM seems better than his last runs. Race 6 (1,400m) A very competitive Champion Juvenile Cup. (2) KING PRAWN quickened nicely late last time. He does have stable jockey Richard Fourie in the irons and that suggests he may be the strongest Alan Greeff-trained entrant for this race. (3) READY is decent and continues to improve, so could make all. (5) BAROLO seems a lot better than her last run and could be the surprise package. (9) STAR OF ELENA has hinted she has ability and is worth considering. Race 7 (1,200m) A very competitive looking race. (5) HAPPY HOLLY has been a bitter disappointment of late but it could be worth ignoring her last run on a soft track. (7) SWEETIE DARLING has won her last two starts and there have been winners out of both those races. (3) GIMME'S LASSIE is track-and-distance suited, so should fight out the finish. Stable companion (4) ELLORIX has been consistent and is clearly not out of it. Race 8 (1,200m) (9) WINTER WARFARE did not show his form in a feature race last time and could be better than rated. (7) SILVERY SURFER showed some improvement and could also go one better. (5) NEW MEXICO and (6) VEGAS HI RISE all make their local debuts and would not be surprise winners.

July 11 South Africa (Fairview) form guide
Race 1 (1,000m) (1) AMERICAN EAGLE showed promise on local debut and can go one better this time. (6) RUBY CLAIRE is knocking hard at the door and should be right there at the finish yet again. (7) WEARINGOFTHEGREEN was a disappointment in Gauteng but, back to sprints, can improve for trainer Alan Greeff. (8) TIME IN PARIS is battling to get out of the maiden ranks but could play a minor role. Race 2 (1,200m) (10) WISHES AND DREAMS was green in both starts on the Poly. She can do a lot better on turf. (8) TANZANITE makes her debut but watch the betting. (1) CALL ME CLARION has made the trip from the Western Cape. Form only fair, but can surprise. (7) MONEY GALORE has run well enough in both her starts and has a winning chance. Race 3 (1,600m) (12) WILD FIG was caught very late last time. He is not well drawn but can win a race like this. (4) LOMU has made the trip from the Western Cape and is likely to improve. (3) HALF MOON ISLAND showed good improvement trying the grass and would not be a surprise winner. (10) ROCK OF FUTURA was not disgraced on debut and could have a lot more to offer. Race 4 (1,600m) (3) INNAMORARE was not beaten far in his recent handicap at Kenilworth and has won at this course. So he gets the vote. (7) LANCIAFIAMME is on the up and can be better than rated. (1) MASTER FORESTER is at his best around this distance and is not out of it. (5) LAGUNA VERDE is not without claims. Race 5 (1,800m) (6) WE HAVE TOUCHDOWN is clearly not weighted to win a race like this but does have ability. (3) GOLDEN PEACE has won two good races of late and can complete a hat-trick. (1) BINGWA is weighted to win this race and is clearly better than his last run would suggest. Race 6 (3,200m) (1) BOURNEMOUTH has impressed in his two recent wins and can take out this race as well. (2) ZATARA MAGIC has beaten that rival over this distance. Should be in the mix again. (3) JUAN CARLOS is very consistent and should have no problem with this longer distance. Race 7 (1,600m) (12) GREENLITEALLTHEWAY impressed with a good win last time. This is a much tougher task but she may well follow up. (6) GIMMETHATPEARL will be a factor if she brings her Western Cape form. (1) TIME FOR LOVE has proven herself at this track and will be a threat again. Race 8 (1,400m) (5) ENCHANTING CHOICE was impressive in her local debut win. This is a tougher task but she may well follow up. (9) WILD APPLAUSE took a long time to get out of the maiden ranks but she does carry just 50kg and could be a threat back on the grass. (3) MONTELENA has been unreliable of late but can contest the finish. Race 9 (1,400m) (11) ELSINORE was not beaten far at Kenilworth last time and this race is not any stronger. (3) IGUGULETHU is in very good form and will not go down without a fight. (1) CHILI BOMB has improved since a change of trainer and could have more wins to come.

July 4 South Africa (Fairview) form analysis
Race 1 (2,000m) A tough opening race. (2) GLOBAL SCENE is battling to get out of the maiden ranks but was not disgraced last time and could do even better this time around. (3) BATTLE OF BRITAIN makes her local debut and could improve trying the Polytrack. (9) CELTIQUE is improving and has a winning chance. (7) CHEAP THRILLS has improved of late and is another to consider. Race 2 (1,300m) (7) ALEX MILLER makes his local debut after a change of trainers. He tries the Polytrack for the first time but does look the one to be with. (1) AMERICAN MATADOR disappointed last time but was in good form before that and should go very close to winning. (2) GLOBAL DRUMBEAT is in good form and can contest the finish again. (3) AMERICAN PITBULL has a place chance on best form. Race 3 (1,300m) (2) BEACH QUEEN has run in a better field than this. She returns to a surface on which she has run well and does look the one to beat. (3) AMANATTO makes her local debut after a change of trainers. She can improve trying the Polytrack. (5) DANCING IN WINTER and (4) RUBY CLAIRE are both in good form but are struggling to get a first win. Race 4 (1,200m) (9) CASINO ACE has only been modest in the Western Cape of late but that form may be good enough in this line-up. He does try the Polytrack for the first time after a change of trainer. (2) SWISS WALT will be suited by the return to Polytrack and is not out of it. (6) MUNCHKIN does not win out of turn, but is not without claims in this. Ran a nice second to Beachamwood Boy at his last start. (5) THUNDER MASTER and (4) JAMBO SANA have both been only modest of late but are capable of winning at this level. (7) NOTORIX and (8) RAVILIOUS are both carded to have run earlier in the week but could be in the mix of things. Race 5 (1,200m) An interesting race. Trainer Alan Greeff has a strong hand. (9) BEACHAMWOOD BOY has improved under his care and could be ready to score. Trainer Gavin Smith has four runners carded, and the best of them could be the improving (6) INDEBE MAYIBUYE. Beachamwood Boy's stable companion (1) DUBAI HILLS has improved of late and would not be a surprise winner. Another Greeff runner, (5) MASKED VIGILANTE, has a good record on this track and trip and could also score. As for Smith's other three runners, (7) DONNY TEE, (10) CHARLIE MALONE and (8) SILVONIAN are all capable of running well on this surface and could earn some money. Race 6 (1,200m) An interesting handicap. Two-year-old filly (1) SILVA CITY has run some good races against her own age. She normally finds a good finish, running past beaten horses, and could be good enough to see off these rivals. (3) JADE'S CABERNEIGH returns from a break but has won five times on this surface and is capable of winning again if fit. (7) CAPE CAPRI and (8) BENEATH THE MOON both make their local debuts but are not out of it on the pick of their form. Race 7 (1,800m) Greeff can take out this race as well. (6) FIRST WISH did not get the cleanest of runs last time. She has improved this year and should make a bold bid at scoring over this track and trip. (3) HONORABLE MEMBER is in very good form and should contest the finish again. There was not much between First Wish and (2) LOTUS ISLAND when they met on this surface. (1) GIDEON'S DAUGHTER is not without ability and cannot be underestimated in this lot. (5) VIHAAN'S QUEEN, (8) CALL TO GLORY and (9) STATE SECRET are three who are capable of getting involved with the finish. Race 8 (1,400m) (11) NEMOROSA is improving and could get the run of the race from a good draw. She will have to fight off challenges for both Greeff-trained runners Sharapova and Arabian Red. (5) ARABIAN RED is clearly a lot better than her last run would suggest and has a very good record on this surface. (3) SHARAPOVA is full of confidence after some nice wins and will not go down easily. (2) TREASURE HUNT also likes the Polytrack and could earn some money.
