Diddy's son Christian Combs visits Kanye West at Chateau Marmont after rapper attended father's trial

Daily Mail19-06-2025
Diddy 's son Christian 'King' Combs was spotted visiting Kanye West at the legendary Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Kanye, 48, was not pictured, however Christian, 27, was seen at the hotel with several friends and appeared in good spirits despite his father's ongoing sex trafficking trial in New York City.
DailyMail.com has contacted Christian and representatives for Kanye about the meeting but did not immediately hear back.
Kanye is known to frequent the Hollywood hotspot and on Tuesday, his custom Maybach was towed away from the establishment.
Kanye has publicly professed his support for Diddy on multiple occasions amid the music mogul's legal woes, and on Friday even attended the trial, where he was greeted by Christian.
The pair shared a hug outside the courthouse before entering together.
West caused chaos at the trial in Manhattan as he surprised crowds outside the courthouse.
The artist, who now performs by the name Ye, wore an all-white denim outfit to the trial.
Kanye had not announced his arrival beforehand, with footage from crowds outside the courthouse showing their surprise as he made his entrance.
He was seen entering the courthouse, and briefly entered an overflow room, but did not enter the courtroom itself where Diddy has stood trial since May 5.
According to the New York Times, Kanye was not on the approved attendee list for the day and was instructed to watch the proceedings via a closed-circuit video feed in an overflow room.
He watched a closed-circuit video feed of the trial with Christian and Diddy's friend Charlucci Finney before departing, The Times adds.
He was in the courthouse for approximately a half hour, the publication also reported.
It comes as Diddy faces up to life in prison for drug trafficking and racketeering charges, which he has pleaded not guilty to.
Over the weekend, Christian paid tribute to his dad with a gushing Father's Day tribute.
King shared a post of his father holding him when he was a child. He captioned the shot: 'Happy Fathers Day Pops!!' King said. 'I Love you & miss you !!! We waiting for you at [home].'
Diddy is father to seven children with four women.
His children are: Quincy, 33, Justin, 30, Christian, Chance, 18, twins D'Lila and Jessie, 18, and Love Sean, two.
Diddy faces life in prison on five federal charges: racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Prosecutors say Diddy used his fame and power in the music industry, along with violence and money, to coerce girlfriends for nearly two decades to submit to sexual performances involving male sex workers, sometimes on a weekly basis.
The sex marathons, called "freak-offs" and "hotel nights," sometimes lasted several days as Diddy watched, directed and sometimes filmed his girlfriends having sex with other men, according to testimony.
Two former girlfriends testified that they relied on drugs supplied by Diddy to stay awake - and numb - throughout the events. They both said they endured the sexual marathons because they were in love with Diddy and it enabled them to spend more time with him.
Defense lawyers say prosecutors are trying to criminalize sexual activity between consenting adults. They say their client was involved in domestic abuse, but had not committed the federal crimes of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

Allianz Life confirms data breach affecting majority of 1.4M US customers

Hackers gained access to personal data on the majority of the 1.4 million customers of Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, the company confirmed Saturday. Minneapolis-based Allianz Life, a subsidiary of Munich, Germany-based Allianz SE, said the data breach happened on July 16 when a 'malicious threat actor' gained access to a third-party, cloud-based system used by the company. 'The threat actor was able to obtain personally identifiable data related to the majority of Allianz Life's customers, financial professionals, and select Allianz Life employees, using a social engineering technique,' Allianz Life said in a statement. "We took immediate action to contain and mitigate the issue and notified the FBI." The company said its own systems were not accessed, just the third-party's platform. Allianz Life said its investigation is ongoing and that the company has begun reaching out to the impacted individuals. It said the incident involves only Allianz Life in the U.S., not other Allianz corporate entities. In the case of data breaches, a 'social engineering technique' usually involves using trickery to gain access. Spokesman Brett Weinberg said he couldn't provide details because they are still investigating. Allianz Life also reported the breach to multiple other authorities, including the Maine Attorney General's Office. A filing on the agency's website said the company discovered the breach the day after it happened, and that it will be offering those affected 24 months of identity theft protection and credit monitoring. Allianz Life was known as North American Life and Casualty until it was acquired by German conglomerate Allianz SE in 1979 and changed its name to Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. It has nearly 2,000 employees in U.S., with the majority working in Minnesota, according to its website. It is one of five North American subsidiaries of the Munich-based global financial services group Allianz SE, which says it serves more than 125 million customers worldwide.

Marine veteran's brain returned by funeral home in an unmarked and leaking box, lawsuit claims

A couple is suing two funeral homes after their veteran son's brain was returned in an unmarked cardboard box that was leaking 'biohazardous liquid,' a lawsuit alleges. Lawrence and Abbey Butler are suing Nix & Nix Funeral Homes in Pennsylvania and Southern Cremations & Funeral in Georgia for the 'mishandling' of the remains of their son Timothy Garlington, a Marine veteran who died in November 2023. That month, the couple hired Southern Cremations & Funerals to transport their son's remains to Nix & Nix Funeral Home in Philadelphia. A week later, Lawrence Butler picked up a 'white, unmarked cardboard box' they thought contained his personal belongings, the filing states. The box began to smell and leak fluids in his car. When the couple tried to remove the box, 'biohazardous liquid spilled' onto them, the lawsuit alleges. They reached out to the funeral homes to learn that the box contained their late son's brain. "The family has been destroyed twice," their lawyer, L. Chris Stewart, told Fox 5. The couple says they suffered 'serious mental and emotional distress' as a result of the funeral homes' mishandling of their son's remains, the suit stated. It called the defendants' conduct 'extreme and outrageous.' They've accused the defendants of negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other claims, for an unspecified amount in damages. 'It was, and it is still, in my heart that I got in my car and I smelled death,' Lawrence Butler told the Associated Press. 'I had to get rid of that car,' he added. 'I just couldn't stand the idea that the remains were in that car.' Stewart told the AP that after speaking to several other funeral homes, he learned the brain is not typically 'separated from [the] body in that fashion and shipped in that fashion.' In the circumstances that the body parts are separated, they are labeled as a biohazard. 'There's no excuse, there is zero excuse for this type of error to happen. For the Georgia funeral home, Southern Cremations, to ship unmarked, bio-hazardous material. For the funeral home here in Philadelphia to hand the parents an unmarked box, not examined, not on a list of the inventory that was the personal items, to not check it,' Stewart told the AP. 'They have not received a single apology to this day from any funeral home.' The owner of Nix & Nix Funeral Homes said that his team didn't know that the box contained brain matter and noted that the state board did a thorough investigation and cleared them of wrongdoing. "Any body parts should be in the body. I don't understand why they would send his brains in a box, a regular box," Julian Nix, the owner of Nix and Nix Funeral Home, told Fox 5. "We immediately reported it to the state board and the medical examiner for inspection," Nix told the outlet. "When the state board investigated, they said that we did everything correct."

The 100 'big names' including Andrew Ghislaine Maxwell was quizzed about by DOJ - and bombshell that could drag Elon Musk into Epstein scandal

Ghislaine Maxwell was grilled about Prince Andrew during her nine-hour meeting with the US Deputy Attorney General, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. The 63-year-old convicted sex-trafficker - a former close friend of the Duke of York - answered all questions 'honestly and truthfully' as she was quizzed about Andrew and 'more than 100 different people' connected to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, her former boss and ex-lover. While it is not known exactly what Maxwell said about the Duke, this is the first time she has ever been formally questioned about him. A source said: 'This is the first time anyone has asked Ghislaine about any of the men. 'She told the truth and didn't back away from any questions. She wants the truth to come out.' Andrew has always vehemently denied claims by Virginia Giuffre that she was sex-trafficked to him by Epstein when she was just 17. The Prince paid Ms Giuffre a multi-million-pound sum to settle a civil suit with no admission of wrongdoing. Ms Giuffre committed suicide earlier this year. Maxwell is serving 20 years in Tallahassee Federal Prison in Florida for procuring and grooming young girls to be sexually abused by Epstein. This week's extraordinary two-day meeting with US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche took place on the orders of Donald Trump, who has found himself embroiled in a huge political row by promising - and then failing - to release the full Epstein Files. Now The Mail on Sunday can reveal how: Maxwell is hoping for a full presidential pardon. Mr Trump, who is in Scotland, told reporters he is 'allowed' to pardon her but that 'it is something that I haven't thought about'; Elon Musk - Mr Trump's former 'First Buddy', who ignited the crisis by claiming that the Epstein files are being withheld because the President is in them - is sensationally named in the documents, along with his brother Kimbal; Maxwell was granted 'limited immunity' for her cooperation, which included revealing what she knows about a host of other men, including former President Bill Clinton, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and powerful Wall Street titans; Plans are under way to move Maxwell from Tallahassee Federal Prison because of growing fears over her safety. 'Everyone in the case is getting death threats,' a source said; Mr Blanche will meet with Mr Trump after the President's five-day visit to Scotland to discuss a pardon or commuting Maxwell's sentence in return for her help prosecuting others involved in Epstein's sex-trafficking ring. On Saturday night, a source familiar with this week's meeting said: 'Ghislaine has never told her story to anyone in government before. 'At times it was very emotional but she answered every question asked of her. 'The limited immunity deal is a huge risk for her because this case is so politicised she only has immunity so long as she hasn't lied. She answered everything truthfully but she is taking a risk. 'She was asked about a laundry list of people including Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, Les Wexner, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, Leon Black and a Who's Who of powerful Wall Street moneymen and financiers. 'There were Silicon Valley names in there along with world leaders, other non-British royals aside from Andrew and famous names from the world of showbusiness. 'It's ironic that Elon Musk kicked this whole thing off when he fell out with Trump and then made that post on X about Trump allegedly preventing the release of the full Epstein documents as some sort of 'cover-up'. Well, Elon is in there, as is his brother. 'It was a monumental moment for Ghislaine to finally be asked about these people and to tell the truth.' Maxwell's latest plea to have her appeal heard before the US Supreme Court will be submitted tomorrow and she has been called to testify before a Congressional committee on August 11. The MoS understands that if a deal has not been reached by this date she may have to plead the Fifth Amendment, which means she will invoke her constitutional right not to answer any questions which might incriminate her. The source said: 'Of course she wants a pardon, what prisoner doesn't? But that isn't something which has been discussed. 'The President could commute her sentence in return for her cooperation. No one knows what will happen now. Todd Blanche will sit down with President Trump when he returns from Scotland and that is when the discussions about any potential deal will take place.' Prison officials at Tallahassee Federal Prison, where Maxwell has been held since her 2021 conviction, are said to be 'terrified' about her being attacked or killed. 'The events of the past few days have made her the most high-profile prisoner in America,' the source added. 'She is likely to be moved very soon for her own safety. 'They don't want what happened to Epstein to happen to her.' The 66-year-old financier killed himself in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on child sex-trafficking charges. Earlier this month, Mr Trump's Attorney General Pam Bondi released footage from inside the prison on the day Epstein died which caused outrage when it was discovered that at least a minute of footage was missing. Many - including Maxwell and Epstein's brother Mark - believe that he was murdered. The two-day grilling last week took place in a 10ft by 20ft conference room on the fourth floor of the Tallahassee Federal Courthouse. The MoS can reveal the full list of attendees for the first time. Maxwell sat on one side of a long polished wooden conference table with her lawyers David Oscar Markus, Leah Saffian and Melissa Madrigal. Opposite her sat the team for the Government, including Mr Blanche, Associate Deputy Attorney General Diego Pestana and FBI agent Spencer Horn. An armed US Marshal stood guard at the door because Mr Blanche, the lawyers and Maxwell have all received death threats. 'The number of death threats have increased exponentially since this case has been back in the headlines in the past couple of weeks,' the source said. 'Everyone is getting them.' Maxwell was spotted returning to the prison on Thursday carrying a cardboard box, prompting scores of headlines questioning what could be inside. The source said: 'It should come as no surprise that the box was filled with legal documents. There are at least five million documents related to this case.' Maxwell is 'exploring all her legal options' and is feeling 'a sense of relief' that her story is finally being heard. 'She has been silent for so long,' they added. 'She has always vowed to tell the truth and she did so this week. 'Where this all leads, only time will tell.'
