Meet QRSAM – India's Strongest Rs 30,000 Cr Missile Wall That Will Crush Pakistan's Drones, Block China's Jets
It is a mobile missile defence system designed to track and destroy enemy aircraft and drones in real-time. It reacts quickly, locks onto fast-moving targets and takes them out in a flash.

With a range of 30 km, it will team up with India's other missiles such as MRSAM and Akash to trap anything that tries to enter Indian airspace.
A top-level meeting is expected later this month. Sources say QRSAM could soon be inducted into the armed forces.
After May's Conflict, India Moves Fast

Difference between QRSAM and S-400

S-400 is the king of India's air defence. It blocks enemy missiles, rockets, drones and fighter jets. Russia made it. India bought five units in 2018 for Rs 40,000 crore.
Each unit is mobile. It can move fast. Its radar sees targets from 600 km away. Within minutes, it is ready to fire. It can track 160 targets at once and launch two missiles per threat.
The version India has hits from 400 km away. It can also strike threats 30 km above the ground. That makes it one of the world's most advanced defence systems.
With QRSAM joining forces with Akash, S-400 and Iron Dome-style defences, India is building an air wall no missile can cross.

With total capex for the expansion programmes to exceed Rs 750 crore over the next few years, the company has already commenced a few projects.

Corrupt MRO's arrest sparks celebrations in Telangana's Talakondapally
HYDERABAD: When local residents danced in jubilation amidst bursting of firecrackers, one would have thought that Deepavali had arrived quite early in Talakondapally. But the folks of this sleepy village in Rangareddy district were celebrating the arrest of a 'corrupt' Mandal Revenue Officer (MRO). As soon as the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught MRO B Nagarjuna red-handed while accepting a bribe and arrested him, the villagers gathered at the MRO office. They, in fact, started celebrating even as the ACB officials were still inside, completing the formalities of taking the MRO into custody. When TNIE reached out to the residents to understand the reasons behind their celebrations, they made startling allegations against the tainted officer, who was caught accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 to register 22 guntas of agricultural land — originally in the name of the complainant's mother — in the names of the complainant, his brothers and sons. The locals alleged that the MRO fixed a 'rate card' for various services and amassed wealth worth crores. They also demanded that an inquiry be ordered to find out how he amassed so much wealth.

Rs 306-crore nod for Kochi's Chellanam seawall phase II
KOCHI: The second phase of the tetrapod seawall project at Chellanam, costing Rs 306 crore, has received approval at a ministerial-level meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram. As previously planned, the remaining 3.6-km stretch of the seawall will now be constructed. The project will be implemented with funding from the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB). Industries Minister P Rajeeve said the revised administrative sanction for the project will be issued this week itself. Approval for the second phase was granted with special consideration to ensure coastal protection in the remaining vulnerable stretches of the Chellanam coast where the tetrapod structure has not yet been constructed. The first phase of the tetrapod seawall, extending 7.3 km, was completed in 2023 at a cost of Rs 347 crore. It was the first decision taken by the state cabinet after the current government assumed office.
