What works best is an emotional sine wave, a sequence of shifting states where peaks of interest alternate with relaxation and doubt. This dynamic is what activates conscious decisions, not impulses."
Under Olga's leadership, the UME Tech team conducted a series of behavioral tests involving 214 users in an e-commerce setting. During the experiment, the following were tracked: glucose levels via CGM (continuous glucose monitoring),
neural activation through wearable sensors,
behavioral data: clicks, scroll depth, response speed, and CTA choices.
The study was carried out in 2024 in partnership with experts in behavioral economics and neurophysiology. The pilot was not a clinical trial and was not intended for medical diagnosis; the goal was to validate hypotheses about how emotional scenarios influence behavioral engagement and motivation to act. All data was anonymized and collected in accordance with internal ethical standards of UX analytics.
"We found that when an emotional scenario is built on contrast—for example, an anxious audio background at the start followed by a visually warm scene—engagement increases by 23–26%. And not due to impulse, but due to internal confirmation of choice," Olga emphasizes. AI as a Barrier: How the Brain Resists Algorithms
Olga stresses that AI technologies, intended to enhance communication, are increasingly triggering subconscious resistance among consumers: "People intuitively sense when content is generated by an algorithm rather than a human. The sales funnel stops working, even if the communication appears personalized."
Osokina's team developed neuro-oriented engagement scenarios based on cognitive rhythm—not aggressive swings, but a deliberate activation of trust. This creates the sense of "I made this decision myself," instead of "I was manipulated." Digital Avatars and Neuro-Negotiation in B2B

This case is presented not as a pop culture reference but as an example of how a product can resonate with the audience on a cultural and neural level.
Labubu demonstrates how a brand can become an interface of cultural tension. As Olga Osokina notes, its image is built on the principle of semantic incompleteness: it's both cute and strange, fluffy and toothy. This activates a projection mechanism—the consumer fills in the meaning themselves, triggering the effect of an unfinished gestalt.
Combined with a scarcity model (limited releases, exclusive collaborations), this creates predictive coding of desire. The toy tapped into already-heated themes—mental health, the inner child, and kidult culture—and became a neurosymbol of returning to oneself.

"The future lies in cognitive extrapolation. When a person lives their ordinary life, but the system has already 'heard' their desire. This is not manipulation, but a return to oneself through an interface," Osokina summarizes.

Zuckerberg Settles Lawsuit Over Cambridge Analytica Scandal
Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg and other company board members settled a shareholder lawsuit on Thursday concerning decisions made in the wake of the Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal. A trial over the long-running case had just begun on Wednesday, with defendants accused of overpaying the US government in 2019 when they engineered a $5 billion settlement for alleged privacy violations in the scandal. Sources familiar with the matter confirmed the settlement to AFP, without providing details. A spokesman for Meta, the parent company of Facebook, declined to comment. Lawyers for the defendants and shareholders didn't immediately return requests for comment. The settlement comes the same day that Marc Andreessen, one of Silicon Valley's most influential venture capitalists and a Meta board member, was scheduled to take the stand. Zuckerberg himself was expected in the Wilmington, Delaware courtroom on Monday. Silicon Valley investor Peter Thiel and former Meta top executive Sheryl Sandberg -- both former board members -- were also expected to face questioning in the court. Cambridge Analytica was a political consulting firm that was found to have improperly accessed personal data from millions of Facebook users for targeted political advertising, particularly during the 2016 US election and Brexit referendum. The scandal thrust Facebook and Zuckerberg in particular into a political firestorm, leading to major regulatory changes and public scrutiny of tech companies' data practices. The shareholders in the lawsuit alleged that the board members conspired to pay more to the US government in exchange for ensuring that Zuckerberg would not be named personally for wrongdoing in the settlement. Longtime observers of the company were hoping that the trial would expose inside details of how Zuckerberg and the Facebook executives handled the scandal. The high-profile case was expected to bring further attention to Delaware, the state that many US companies choose for incorporation due to its highly specialized courts. The trial was presided over and to be decided by Kathaleen McCormick, the same judge who last year rejected Elon Musk's multi-billion pay package at Tesla. Amazon Teams Up with Elon Musk's SpaceX in Rare Satellite Launch Deal
In a surprising move, Amazon is teaming up with Elon Musk's SpaceX to send its next group of internet satellites into space. The rare partnership comes as part of Amazon's effort to build Project Kuiper—its satellite-based internet system meant to compete with SpaceX's Starlink. On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, weather permitting, 24 new Kuiper satellites will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. According to CNBC , the mission, named KF-01, will be Amazon's first time using a SpaceX rocket. The launch is scheduled for 2:18 am ET, with a backup window the next morning. Even though SpaceX and Amazon are fierce competitors in the race to deliver internet from space, the collaboration is simple business. Amazon is paying SpaceX for the launch, just as it has with other companies like United Launch Alliance (ULA), which carried the first 54 Kuiper satellites earlier this year. Kuiper Satellite Count Rises to 78 as Amazon Pushes Forward Amazon needs to move fast. The company must have at least 1,600 satellites in orbit by July 2026 to meet a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) deadline. So far, Amazon has 54 satellites in space, and this launch will bring the total to 78, Yahoo said. The Kuiper project could eventually include more than 3,200 satellites. Project Kuiper is one of Amazon's biggest bets. The company has already invested more than $10 billion and may spend over $20 billion more to complete the network. Analysts at Bank of America estimate Amazon could generate over $7 billion a year in revenue from the service by 2032 if it grabs a big share of the market. "Amazon is working hard to meet its goals and bring internet access to people who need it," said the company, pointing to plans to serve rural and underserved communities. Elon Musk's SpaceX, on the other hand, has a head start. Starlink already has about 8,000 satellites in orbit and nearly 5 million users worldwide. But that hasn't stopped Amazon from pushing forward. While Amazon's founder Jeff Bezos also owns the rocket company Blue Origin, it's not yet ready to handle most Kuiper launches.
