Turkish drama Aşkı Hatırla tops social media trends

The Turkish series 'Aşkı Hatırla' (Reminder) topped Google searches after the first three episodes broadcast.
The hotly-anticipated first episode received a mix of praise and backlash due to certain scenes seen by some as inappropriate, and others as necessary to the story.
Despite the controversy, the series topped the trending lists across social media.
'Aşkı Hatırla' takes place in the vibrant heart of Istanbul, where an unconventional love story begins with an unexpected encounter between two people previously separated by circumstance: a successful architect and a famous social media editor.
They were once on the verge of marriage, but fate separated them before their story could be completed.
Years pass, and each of them lives on bearing the scars of an unhealed relationship. Suddenly, at an unexpected moment, they meet again by chance. This planned encounter is only the beginning of a series of mysterious events, starting with a mysterious text message that arrives on their phones that same night – carrying previously undisclosed secrets.
This message takes them on an unexpected journey, that stretches between a past that has never been closed and a future that holds new possibilities. Amidst the conflicts of old feelings and postponed decisions, the spark of love ignites again, but this time with the maturity of experience and the depth of loss.
