On the ninth series of MAFS UK UK, Lacey Martin and Nathan Campbell made it all the way to the final renewal ceremony.
However, the duo split up after the show came to an end and Nathan then claimed she told him to "fake" their romance for fame.
Following their acrimonious split, he then coupled up with former Love Island star Abi Moores, 26.
Now, as all three of the reality stars attended the glitzy ceremony, it seems things are more awkward than ever between all the personalities.
As Nathan cosied up to his new girlfriend, organisers were forced to separate him from Lacey by seating him on a different table.
A source told The Sun: "Lacey and Nathan had to be kept away from each other at the National Reality TV Awards.
"It was chaos as he was supposed to be on the MAFS table but she wouldn't have sat there if he was there.
"He was all over his girlfriend Abi, so they had to be sat at a separate table."
The eyewitness added: "It was daggers across the room the whole night."
The pair also nearly ran into each other on the red carpet earlier in the evening.
MAFS UK's Nathan reveals first date with Love Island star Abi Moores almost ended in disaster as they go public with romance
Nathan himself remarked that it was "awkward" to The Sun just after she made her way past him and Abi to get to another part of the venue.
Nathan and Lacey continued to swerve each other throughout the star-studded event which was attended by stars including Vanessa Feltz and Strictly pro Nadiya Bychkova.
During one part of the ceremony at London 's Porchester Hall, the MAFS cast went to get some fresh air outside of the venue.
Nathan and Abi couldn't keep their hands off of each other as they looked cosy at one end of the smoking area.
Mafs couples that have stood the test of time
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn't keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam's Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: 'I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out - and excited for everything to come.'
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: 'I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
"While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
'The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, 'Wouldn't it be funny if I signed up?'
'A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.'
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna's vegan lifestyle, the show's first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: "We're not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship."
However at the other end, Lacey was present as she spoke to a mystery pal on the phone.
She puffed on a cigarette as she held her mobile device next to her ear as Nathan and Abi tentatively chatted to pals.
In a picture sent to The Sun, only one person was seen to be standing between the former cast members as they attempted to separate.
An additional source told us: "Lacey was on the phone in the smoking area, and it looked as though Nathan and Abi were actively keeping their distance from her.
"She previously made her way past him on the red carpet in what looked like an extremely uncomfortable situation for everyone involved.
"Nathan was being interviewed as she scooched past him and made a little quip as a distraction from the situation.
The eyewitness added: "Things looked even worse when they were just steps from each other in the smoking area.
"It was just so awkward for all of them throughout the evening and it was clear from all their actions that there is still bad blood there."
The Sun has approached representatives of both Lacey and Nathan for comment.

How to save money on chocolate We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar. Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs... Go own brand - if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars. Shop around - if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere. Websites like let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal. Look out for yellow stickers - supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced. They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged. Buy bigger bars - most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar. So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger. King Charles shows a bit of leg as he dons traditional Scottish attire to attend Highland Games
King Charles III proved he was chic at the knees as he donned traditional Scottish attire to attend the Mey Highland Games. The monarch, 76, was spotted solo without Queen Camilla on Saturday as he took in the colourful festivities held in Caithness each year. His Majesty looked dapper in his red, blue and green tartan kilt, which was complemented by a beige waistcoat and jacket, leather sporran and red hose. At one point the King was seen enjoying a cheeky dram of whisky before meeting participants in the day's events, which include tug o'war, caber tossing, massed pipe bands, Highland dancing, track events and novelty races. Charles was all smiles as he sat down in a marquee, with his cousin, Lady Sarah Chatto, sat behind him. The first Mey Games was held in the nearby village of Mey in 1970 to celebrate the late Queen Mother 's 70th birthday. As guest of honour on the day, she declared the event a success and encouraged its organisers to make it an annual event. In 2002 His Majesty succeeded his grandmother as Chieftain of the games and attends each year during his summer break in Caithness. Charles has an enduring love of Scotland, having spent many summers at Balmoral with the royal family, and often wears kilts when visiting the nation for engagements. The distinctive pattern on the King's kilt is known as the Balmoral Tartan, which was originally created in the 1850s by Prince Albert for Queen Victoria, symbolizing her deep connection to Scotland. It remains one of the most exclusive tartans, reserved only for use by the reigning monarch, as well as the Sovereign's Piper - the only non-royal permitted to don this tartan. Other members of the Royal Family require the sovereign's permission to wear the tartan, with the latest pattern designed 'in recognition of His Majesty's strong support in preserving the culture and traditions of Highland Dress and Scottish Tartans'. The Scottish Register of Tartans website notes that the cloth was first woven in 100% Scottish wool by Lochcarron of Scotland in Selkirk. It features 'central stripe motif (one broad and two narrow), a feature of Royal tartans previously worn by His Majesty including the Duke of Rothesay, Duke of Rothesay Hunting & Lord of the Isles Hunting tartans'. While the kilt-wearing monarch arrived alone this year, Queen Camilla has been an enthusiastic visitor in previous years. Her Majesty first attended the Games with Charles in 2002, three years before she married the then Prince of Wales. She then joined Charles at the annual jamboree on several occasions after their wedding. At each, they were seen guffawing with laughter as they took in the high-spirited atmosphere.
