Another Strictly star has phone stolen in London as it travels across the globe

A third Strictly Come Dancing star had their phone stolen while out in central London. In a post shared online, they revealed their phone ended up across the globe Yet another Strictly Come Dancing star was robbed in London as they revealed where their phone ended up. Earlier this month, both Annabel Croft and Michelle Tsiakkas revealed to fans their phones were stolen while out in the city as they issued warnings to their Instagram followers. Michelle, 29, told fans having her phone stolen was 'traumatising' and said she felt 'awful, scared and helpless' when it happened. She explained that she was simply going about her day when a criminal whizzed past her on an electric bike and snatched her phone straight from her hand. ‌ The star said it was early morning when she was on her way to the dentist around Covent Garden. Annabel Croft was also a victim of phone theft and recently recalled the terrifying moment she was mugged in broad daylight in the middle of London. ‌ The brave star being the target of a criminal has prompted her to speak out to make sure others don't suffer the same issue. Annabel, who competed in the 2023 series alongside Johannes Radebe, said she was waiting for a taxi when the incident occurred. Speaking on Instagram, Annabel detailed the moment and thanked those who rushed to her aid. "I just wanted to warn people who are on their own in London. I just got mugged waiting for a taxi outside King's Cross St Pancras," she wrote. "The man was riding a bike and wearing a black balaclava. He rode straight at me and took my phone clean out of my hands. He rode away with it but luckily dropped my phone so I got it back. Terrifying! " Annabel added. She added: "On a positive note, there are some lovely people out there. Luckily a lovely gentleman witnessed it and came over to help me. Thank you to whoever you are." The new Strictly curse didn't stop with Annabel as Seann Walsh recently revealed his phone was stolen in a post shared on his Instagram Stories. ‌ Along with a screenshot from the Find My app, which showed his phone in Guangdong, China, he said: "My phone was stolen (yes, out of my hand and yes, I live in Lond) a week or so ago and it is now in China if anyone happens to be passing by." One person urged the comedian to write a book called "It could only happen to me" and he responded: "If there are any publishers following me, I am open to this but it will be a very long book. I'm calling it Typical." ‌ Unsettled Londoners have been left in disbelief as mobile phone theft has increased at a horrifying rate. New statistics release this month revealed that 231,000 phone thefts and robberies were recorded over the past four years in the city. Analysis by The Times revealed hotspots in London include St James's Park, where Piccadilly and Haymarket meet Pall Mall and Clarence House as well as parts of the West End. Figures released by Scotland Yard figures show a 20 per cent year-on-year increase in robberies - with 81,256 mobile phone crimes were recorded in 2023. The stats also showed that roughly 37 people have their phone snatched on the streets of the capital every day.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the Big Brother host, 37, gave fans a glimpse of her 'summer of love' following her recent romantic news. Amid a carousel of snaps and videos, the stunner was seen bopping along with her man during a sweet moment between the pair. Dressed down in a green hoodie and denim shorts, the former Strictly star looked happier than ever as she was twirled around by her husband-to-be. Meanwhile, AJ's love kept things casual in a black hoodie pulled up over his head, with the loved up pair smiling as they danced barefoot together. Elsewhere, among AJ's other images, the presenter looked gorgeous as she posed up a storm in a white mini dress. Other pictures show her beaming alongside her family as they posed together with for a fun group snap, with others showing her having a laugh with her pals. She also uploaded another black and white image of herself with her fiancé, as they hugged amid their engagement announcement. Last week AJ revealed the exciting news, as she proudly showed off her huge diamond ring on her ring finger. While she revealed her partner's face for the first time to her followers, the couple packed on the PDA in a compilation of black-and-white photos - but AJ refrained from revealing his name. Captioning the smitten post, AJ confirmed their engagement by writing: 'Hiya love. ❤️' followed by the ring emoji. The happy announcement came as a surprise to fans, as the presenter had not publicly confirmed she was in a relationship prior to the post, with her followers and famous friends rushing to the comments to voice their congratulations. Vicky Pattison was quick to gush: 'Love this! Congrats gorgeous', while Love Island's Chloe Burrows added: 'Omg congrats!! ❤️❤️' Ben Shephard wrote: 'Wonderful news!! ❤️', with Lucy Fallon penning: 'oh how lovely!!! congratulations queen' and Strictly's Johannes Radebe adding: 'Awww congrats'. While AJ's fans chimed in, writing: 'Now this is an incredible hard launch with big news! So happy for you ❤️'; 'AJ IDO-DO Congratulations!! X'. 'OH MY GOD!!!!! COME ON THEN!!!!!!!!!! Couple of the bloody decade'; 'Soooo beautiful omgggg. Congratulations you angel ❤️'; 'Hardest of hard launches'. While the post marks AJ's first confirmation of her relationship status, she previously hinted she was in a relationship in March last year, with a cryptic Instagram post during a holiday in New York. She sparked speculation from fans that she had been joined by a potential partner on the trip, after sharing a snap of her foot resting next to another person's trainer-clad foot, with the suggestive caption: 'It's very this...' with a telling love heart emoji. That same month, AJ opened up about her relationship history as she got candid about suffering 'years of trauma' after finding her boyfriend in bed with another woman. Speaking on the How To Fail Podcast, she admitted that she originally refused to cry over the shocking betrayal, but struggled to cope with the aftermath as it was so 'unexpected.' In the honest interview, she explained that when she found her boyfriend being unfaithful, she proceeded to confront the other woman about the affair, before ending the relationship. She recalled: 'To walk in on that, I was stunned. Seeing that was crazy. I wasn't hysterical. I didn't burst into tears or anything like that. 'I just felt in that moment, I need to gather all the information that I can, and I don't want it from him. I want it from her, actually, because weirdly, in that moment, I trusted her more than I trusted him.' 'So, I asked her to put her clothes back on and follow me outside and answer all of my questions, how long had this been going on and whatever. 'And then as soon as that happened, I watched her leave and then I packed all my stuff and got a taxi and left.' AJ then shared that she had to deal with 'years of trauma' in the time that followed because the incident was so 'unexpected' in the first place. She said: 'However, I proceeded to have years of tears and years of trauma away from him. It was like this person had, you know, made out that they love me, they see their future with me and it was completely reciprocated. 'We were, in my mind, building towards a positive future together. He was just someone that I just wouldn't ever expect to behave in that way.'

BBC Strictly's Anton Du Beke says Bruce Forsyth 'would've been furious' at call

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke has revealed that the late Bruce Forsyth would have been incensed by a decision made after his passing. In an earlier episode of the My Time Capsule podcast, Anton fondly recalled a memorable show at the London Palladium, a venue he considers the "home of Brucie". Looking back on the sad loss of his idol Bruce in August 2017 at the age of 89, Anton mentioned that his ashes were laid to rest beneath the Palladium's stage, accompanied by a commemorative blue plaque. Describing the exact location of Brucie's final resting place, Anton shared: "So, if you're looking out into the auditorium from the stage, right directly below there, there's obviously a wall there holding the whole place up. But in that wall, they've buried Brucie's ashes, and there's a plaque underneath, 'Here are the ashes...'". Anton continued, noting that comedy legend Des O'Connor has since joined Brucie, with his own tribute nearby. He believes Des holds the record for the most performances at the Palladium, and hinted that Julian Clary is aiming to surpass this feat, saying: "To the left now of Brucie is the wonderful Des O'Connor, who's done more shows, I think, at the Palladium than anybody else. "I think Julian Clary is hoping to take that crown soon, but I think Des O'Connor has done more shows at the Palladium than anybody else. Now, I know that Brucie would have been furious about this because Brucie was never a double act. He was always a single act, so I know Brucie would have been furious about this," reports the Mirror. Upon his passing, his manager Ian Wilson stated he died "peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Wilnelia and all his children". The entertainment industry was awash with tributes for Brucie following his death, with co-host Tess Daly admitting she was "heartbroken" over the loss of the man who became the UK's highest-paid TV star. A memorial plaque commemorates Sir Bruce's career, noting that he first presented Sunday Night At The London Palladium back in 1958 and performed his last show in 2015. It acknowledges his status as "without question the UK's greatest entertainer". The plaque also reads: "He rests in peace within the sound of music, laughter and dancing... exactly where he would want to be." Sir Bruce retired from hosting Strictly in 2014, after a decade that saw him present from the inaugural episode of the show in 2004. He was known for fronting popular programmes such as Play Your Cards Right and The Price Is Right. Brucie, who passed the Strictly baton to Claudia Winkleman, said at the time: "After 10 wonderful years and 11 series, I believe it is now the right time to step down from the rigours of presenting the Strictly live shows."
