Star singer Hael Husaini overjoyed as tickets for solo concert almost sold out; celebrates by inviting more 'friends' on stage for big show
And currently Malaysia's class act with top hits, Hael, is just so humbled and thankful for the support that he has received from his many fans.
According to Hael, this concert is his promise to the fans who have been his backbone since his early appearance in the entertainment world. And he is just so glad that the fans snapped up the 90% of the tickets after going on sale in less than two weeks.
"This is an amazing feeling. It is just feels great to be loved by many. I'm so thankful. I thank all my fans. This show is a tribute to them. It will be night to remember and me and my friends will give them an unforgettable night of music," said Hael in an interview with The Star.
According to the singer, also known for his extraordinary vocals, creativity beyond the norm and classy style, the "Hael Husaini & Repertoire Concert" promises a night that is not just a concert — but an artistic, fashion and emotional experience that is sure to become a part of the history of Malaysian music.
During the launch of the concert, Hael announced that top local singer Dayang Nurfaizah and Nadeera Zaini, will be his special guests together with rising stars of Malaysian music Wany Hasrita and Nabila Razali. It is learnt that fast-rising local boy-band Alpha is also expected to join the fun on the night of Aug 8.
"Let's make the show an unforgettable one. I intend to call up another 'special guest' to make the night even more lively. The more the merrier as they say and I just want to put up a show for all to have fun and enjoy the athmosphere throughout the night. I want the show to be an ever lasting memory for the fans."
Hael, whose real name Hal Husaini Razmi, 38, is also open to sharing the stage with other artistes, as he always enjoys sharing the stage with performers who are great in jiving up the night.
"My guests are also my good friends. They are just as excited about the concert as I am. Like me, they are all just so geared up to make it a night to remember for all the fans," said Hael.
"If you follow along, the name of the concert "Hael Husaini & Repertoire" means all my songs and the ones I created for many other singers.
"Also, personally for me, it is never a problem sharing the stage with my friends and other artistes. The aim is always try to lift the standards of Malaysian music. As a singer, producer and composer, I always want the best for the fans. For me, they always deserve the best," added Hael.
"It is due to them I'm here today and on the night Aug 8, I will share my life journey with them."
It has been success after success for Hael over the last two years. His current track "Penjuara" for the movie Ejen Ali is already burning the charts. Last year, his superb rendition "Diam" was a stupendous hit with fans and many observers felt it was the best song for 2024.
Of course, the height of it all for Hael was his Hari Raya duet with songstress Nadeera Zaini this year. The duet's "Meriah Lain Macam" for the Raya festival was simply a super boomer, to say it right. Over 1.87 billion hits in media and social streaming platforms and being ranked No.1 in so many charts. Breaking records just about everywhere and also a superb 16 million-plus hits in You Tube alone.
And now he aims to cap it all with his first-solo concert on Aug 8 ... "It will be one heck of a night to remember," smiled Hael promisingly ...

A fifth brand, 3Coins, which sells lifestyle goods and home decor items, is expected to start operations on Aug 16. The new stores are part of LaLaport BBCC's effort to refresh its retail mix, in addition to offering a variety of activities and promotions in the coming months. These include lucky draws with prizes worth up to RM70,000, shopping vouchers and limited-edition merchandise. Shoppers also stand a chance to enjoy special discounts which are available for a limited period. In a statement, LaLaport BBCC said the latest promotions were to cater to shoppers' increasingly dynamic demands. 'We are inviting them to explore a distinctive mix of fashion, culture, entertainment and lifestyle products right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. 'From premium footwear to playful streetwear and minimalist decor, each store showcases distinct Japanese sensibilities,' it said. 'We will continue to evolve as a one-of-a-kind city centre destination, revitalised and ready for the next chapter,' LaLaport BBCC added. To kickstart the promotional campaign, media practitioners were given a preview of the new stores, as well as the newly launched Mitsui Outlet Park BBCC on Level 3, which brings together 30 branded stores. The products range from sporting attire and equipment, and fashion forward wear, all at attractive prices. Also unveiled was the entertainment hub Molly Fantasy on Level 4 that caters to families and gaming enthusiasts. Among the highlights are Pokemon Mezastar Stadium, where visitors may enjoy Pokemon battles, and Taiko no Tatsujin Dojo, which is the brand's first officially certified premises in South-East Asia. These are in addition to a wide variety of amusement and gaming machines brought in from Japan. The media were also given a walkthrough of the LaLaport Transportation Hub (LTH), slated to start operating in phases starting this month. LTH is set to launch bus services to Singapore and Thailand, as well as shuttle services to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and Subang Airport. Hidalgo reveals why he owes his life to Maradona
PETALING JAYA: Like all Argentinian footballers, Kuala Lumpur's new winger Manuel Hidalgo looks up to the late Diego Maradona as an idol and inspiration. But for the 26-year-old, who joined the City Boys on loan from Johor Darul Ta'zim (JDT), his fascination with the 1986 World Cup winner extends beyond the magic he created on the pitch. Hidalgo can even claim he owes his life to the legend, who many hail as the greatest player of all time. To put it poetically, he has been blessed by the ''hand of god'' – a reference to the controversial goal Maradona scored against England in the 1986 World Cup quarter-final. 'My father met my mum in Argentina, and they went on to have me. So if not for Maradona, I won't be here in this world,' Hidalgo said. KL have been beset by financial problems in the past, but with changes in the top management, Hidalgo hopes his teammates don't need to wait for their dues. 'I have the luck that I'm part of JDT. When you have JDT behind you, everything is easier. ''They do things how they should be done, on time, professionally.'' Hidalgo also revealed that he is awaiting to be naturalised and hopes to don Malaysian colours one day. 'After December, I will have been in Malaysia for five years. Maybe by then, or next May, I can get something more official. I hope that can happen next year.'
