Where's Marty McFly's guitar? Search is on for 'Back to the Future' prop 4 decades later
The guitar, in real life, wasn't as lucky.
Filmmakers went looking for the instrument while making the movie's 1989 sequel, but even now it's nowhere to be found. Four decades after the blockbuster film debuted, the guitar's creator has launched a search for the iconic Cherry Red Gibson ES-345.

The ‘Euphoria' Cast Reunited for a Night of Karaoke, and You Need to See the Video
It will probably be a while before we see Euphoria season 3, but the cast is keeping us fed in the meantime. On August 2, several of the show's stars—including Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Maude Apatow—reunited for a night out at The GasLite Karaoke bar in Los Angeles, and some sneaky fans managed to catch them in action. For instance, there's this video of Sydney, Hunter, and Maude singing 'What's Up' by 4 Non Blondes, which is making the rounds online: Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and Maude Apatow spotted at a karaoke bar last night. — Buzzing Pop (@BuzzingPop) August 3, 2025 Later, the three joined Jacob Elordi at a table for what looked like an intense chat: Jacob Elordi, Hunter Schafer and Maude Apatow hanging out together last night. — Buzzing Pop (@BuzzingPop) August 3, 2025 Speaking of Euphoria! Sydney recently opened up to Bustle and teased that her character Cassie Howard is in for a 'wild ride' during season 3. 'I was definitely very shocked by the turns of Cassie's life,' she said, adding, 'I'm very excited for the entire show.' She also noted that the bond between herself and her on-screen sister (played by Maude) is much stronger behind the scenes. 'Maude's my best friend,' she gushed. 'I see her all the time, so being able to work together again is always so fulfilling. She's just such a special, sweet, and kind person. I'm lucky to have her as my sister on the show.' Back in April, fan-captured footage from what looked like the set of Euphoria season 3 went viral, which showed Sydney walking down an aisle in a white wedding dress. The aisle features the intertwined initials, 'C' and 'N,' the latter of which could possibly stand for Jacob's character, Nate Jacobs. Interesting!! Fans will just have to sit tight until 2026 to learn what else is in store for Cassie, Nate, and the rest of the gang (and hopefully, we'll get a few more cast reunions before then!!).
