Tecno Spark Go 2 brings updated design and affordable pricing
Tecno's latest entry-level device is here with the Spark Go 2. As its name implies, this is the successor to last year's Spark Go 1 and most of the key specs are identical between the two.
Tecno Spark Go 2 in Ink Black and Titanium Grey
Spark Go 2 does get an improved IP64 rating compared to IP54 on the Go 1, and Tecno is bringing some new AI features, including the Ella AI assistant, which supports Indian regional languages.
Spark Go 2 features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. There's an 8MP front-facing camera and a single 13MP rear module despite the two cutouts on the back.
Unisoc's T7250 (aka T615) is also carried over from last year's model as are the 4GB RAM and 64GB built-in storage. Storage is expandable via the microSD card slot.
Tecno Spark Go 2 key specs
Spark Go 2 boots Tecno HiOS 15 based on Android 15, with the maker promising 4 years of lag-free experience. There are no details on software support, though. Spark Go 2 gets a 5,000 mAh battery with 15W charging.
Elsewhere, Spark Go 2 features stereo speakers with DTS tuning, a headphone jack, an IR blaster and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Tecno Spark Go 2 in Veil White and Turquoise Green
Tecno Spark Go 2 comes in Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Veil White, and Turquoise Green colors. Pricing is set at INR 6,999 ($81) for the 4/64GB trim and first sales in India are scheduled for July 1.

Ai+ will launch its smartphones on July 8
We've been aware of the new Ai+ smartphone brand for some time now. It is part of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, led by Realme India's former CEO, Madhav Sheth. All of its products, at least the ones being teased for now, are designed and built in India and will be exclusively sold through Flipkart. The fog of mystery is slowly lifting from the upcoming device lineup, and thanks to a few posts on the company's official Twitter, a Flipkart page and an insider leak, we now have the clearest picture yet. Apparently, the initial launch is scheduled to take place on July 8 in India, as previously expected. The Flipkart exclusive partnership hasn't changed, and neither has the suggested starting price of just INR 5000 ($59/€50). Allegedly, that price was supposed to be for the so-called AI+ Nova 2 5G, which was exclusively leaked to us a while back. Ai+ posts Why Nova 2? Well. We aren't quite sure, frankly, nor is the name set in stone as far as the earlier leak goes, but the new sources only mention an Ai+ Nova 5G moniker instead. Apparently, it will be based on the Unisoc T8200 (6nm) chipset, have a 50MP main camera, expandable storage and a 5,000 mAh battery. Then there is the Ai+ Pulse 4G. According to new sources, it will be a 4G device, featuring the Unisoc T7250 (12nm) chipset and the same 50MP main camera, expandable storage, and 5,000 mAh battery as its Nova 5G sibling. This makes us think that the 4G-only Pulse will probably be the cheapest of the bunch, starting at just INR 5000 and not the Nova 5G, but we'll have to wait and see. There have been two distinct back designs for AI+ phones shared so far, and we believe that the Pulse features a rectangular secondary camera, while the Nova has two round ones. ✅ Officially confirmed : Ai+ smartphones are launching on : 8th July in 🇮🇳Will be under 10K !Ai Nova 5G : likely : Unisoc T8200 (6nm)Ai Pulse 4G : likely : Unisoc T7250 (12nm)Both:• 50MP 📸 • Expandable storage These are designed & made in 🇮🇳 with focus on privacy! — Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) (@Gadgetsdata) June 28, 2025 As mentioned, AI+ phones will be designed and built in India. The brand also boasts that it will utilize a significant amount of reclaimed and recycled materials. The brand previously confirmed that AI+ smartphones will run NxtQuantum OS, which, it says, "has been uniquely designed by Indian engineers, offering a user-friendly interface optimized for the Indian market." Additionally, AI+ stated that the NxtQuantum OS, running on its smartphones, is "auditable, policy-aligned, and governed by Indian law." The brand also claimed that "all user data is stored within India on MeitY-approved servers hosted by Google Cloud." The brand is also expected to launch a smartwatch with built-in TWS earphones. An image of the smartwatch's retail box, which we exclusively shared earlier this month, revealed that it would be called "wearbuds Watch 3." We were told AI+ would unveil the smartwatch alongside its smartphones. Source 1 | Source 2 | Source 3

Tecno Camon 40 Pro review
Tecno has unveiled its Camon 40 series at the MWC in Barcelona, and today, we are going to meet one of the most interesting specimens - the Camon 40 Pro 5G. It offers a well-rounded specs sheet with plenty of premium features at an attractively low price point. The Camon 40 Pro 5G bets heavily on design and multimedia - it has a curved shape with an unusual looking back, a fast 144Hz OLED, Dolby Atmos speakers, a powerful processor, and 50MP cameras on both sides for a premium photo experience. Let's start from the beginning. The Camon 40 Pro 5G has curved panels and a thin profile, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and IP68 plus IP69 ratings. It is also tested to be drop resistant - to an extent. The Camon 40 Pro 5G packs a 6.78-inch 1080p OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ certifications. The model utilizes a rather popular chipset lately - the Dimensity 7300 5G. The Camon lineup has always had a focus on the camera kit, and the Camon 40 Pro 5G is no exception. It has a 50MP LYT-700C main camera, an 8MP ultrawide secondary, and a 50MP AF selfie imager. The Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G is powered by a 5,200mAh battery that supports up to 45W wired charging. It boots Android 15 with Hi OS 15, which is brimming with AI options, and it is promised to get three major software upgrades in the following years. Tecno Camon 40 Pro 5G specs at a glance: Body: 164.3x74.6x7.3mm, 179g; Gorilla Glass 7i front. plastic frame, plastic back; IP68/IP69 dust tight and water resistant (high pressure water jets; immersible up to 2m for 30 min). 164.3x74.6x7.3mm, 179g; Gorilla Glass 7i front. plastic frame, plastic back; IP68/IP69 dust tight and water resistant (high pressure water jets; immersible up to 2m for 30 min). The Camon 40 Pro 5G seems like a sweet deal, but it's not exactly an update over the Camon 30 Pro 5G. The chipset is a lower class, the ultrawide camera has been severely downgraded, and the charging power is lower. Those features are now reserved for the Premium model. On a positive note, these cuts made the Camon 40 Pro 5G more affordable, so it is a silver lining of sorts. Unboxing the Camon 40 Pro 5G The Camon 40 Pro 5G arrives in a thick paper box, which is filled with goodies. It all starts with the phone, of course, then there is a USB-A-to-C cable, and even a 45W power adapter. That's not all! Tecno bundles the phone with a premium protective case, which features an incredibly grippy and stylish back that matches the phone's design. Finally, the phone arrives with a factory-applied protective folio on its screen. Page 2

Realme launches a second C71 version in Europe
The Realme C71, introduced in Asia earlier this month, has arrived in Europe. However, the European model doesn't share all the specs with its Asian counterpart. For starters, the Asian C71 packs a 6,300 mAh battery, while the European C71 comes with a 6,000 mAh cell under the hood. Fortunately, the charging speed remains the same, meaning the Realme C71's European version will also charge at a rate of up to 45W. Besides, it can be used to charge other devices, thanks to 6W reverse wired charging support. Another difference between the two models is that the Asian C71 comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, whereas the European C71 has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage onboard. Realme C71 The rest of the features remain the same, so you get the European C71 with the Unisoc T250 SoC, a 6.67" 120Hz HD+ LCD, Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone sports a 5MP camera on the front and a 50MP primary camera on the rear, accompanied by an LED ring light for notifications and charging status. Additionally, the handset comes with MIL-STD-810H certification, making it drop-resistant up to 1.5m. This model of the Realme C71 comes in Forest Owl and White Swan colors and is available for purchase in Bulgaria through retailer Technopolis at a promotional price of BGN299 ($180/€150/INR15,310).
