Holly Valance split: Former Neighbours star vows to take billionaire ex Nick Candy for ‘every penny'
The 42-year-old signed a pre-nuptial agreement with her property developer beau before walking down the aisle 13 years-ago, but experts — and Valance — believe she could be entitled to a substantial slice of his nearly $3 billion fortune.
'Holly is incredibly upset. Her main concern is, and always will be, for their two daughters,' a source close to Valance told The Sun.
'But when it comes to the divorce, she's made it clear she wants what she's owed and will take Nick for every penny. She insists that she is the injured party in this.'
'It's been a very painful time for Holly and she has told friends that the split was not on her terms,' the source said.
'Given the circumstances, it feels as if there could be some room to manoeuvre.
'Whatever the sum ends up being, it will be in the tens of millions of pounds.'
In return, one of Candy's friends told The Sun, 'Nick is a very decent guy and he will always do right by Holly and their children.'
Valance rose to fame for her breakout role as Felicity 'Flick' Scully on TV soap Neighbours, joining the cast at 16 in 1999.
She later launched a successful music career. Her 2002 debut single Kiss Kiss reached the top of the charts in several countries.
She met property tycoon Candy in London in 2009 through mutual friends and he proposed two years later.
The pair share two daughters and have an extensive real estate portfolio that includes a $AUD340 million Knightsbridge duplex, a $142m Chelsea mansion, a $100 million mansion in Los Angeles' exclusive Holmby Hills and an $18m Oxfordshire estate.
In 2015, Candy, 52, famously gifted Valance a $54 million Benetti superyacht despite her chronic seasickness. They sold the yacht in 2023.
In March last year, Valance made headlines with a viral interview in which she spoke candidly about her political views and high-profile connections, further cementing her role as a prominent figure in Britain's conservative circles.
It's understood the couple split following a challenging period balancing family life, public commitments, and Candy's demanding work schedule in property development and as Reform UK party treasurer.

Mortifying moment Lady Gaga falls to the ground in front of fans in awkward concert blunder
Lady Gaga fell to the ground just inches away from fans during an awkward slip-up at her Las Vegas concert over the weekend. Pop superstar Gaga, 39, was performing Vanish Into You during Saturday night's Mayhem Ball show at the T-Mobile Arena when the mishap unfolded, reports The Sun. It began when one of her cameramen lost his balance after departing the stage and had to be steadied by a nearby security guard. Gaga calmly adjusted the crew member's equipment and continued walking – only to trip herself moments later. She managed to catch her footing and carried on singing, but stumbled again just before the word 'fly' and fell sideways near the edge of the stage. The moment, caught on fan cameras, showed the singer landing close to the front row, where audience members were watching from just feet away. One shared the clip to TikTok, writing: 'MY POOR MOTHER MONSTER FALLING DURING VANISH INTO YOU [crying emoji] AND THE CAMERAMAN JUST BEFORE.' Despite the tumble, Gaga was helped up and immediately resumed the song without missing a beat. The incident took place during the first week of Gaga's global tour, which launched on 16 July and will continue through to January with a final run of shows in Japan. It follows a series of stage mishaps involving other major stars. Beyoncé was recently left suspended mid-air during a Texas show when a red car she was performing in got stuck. During her performance of 16 Carriages, the superstar hopped into a red car which was then lifted high into the air using cables. She pulled on a silver cowboy hat and waved an American flag for her in-air adventures, yet was forced to halt the song as the vehicle leaned dangerously to one side. The crowd paused when she stopped singing and signalled for help, before erupting into cheers as the vehicle was lowered to solid ground. Like a pro, Beyonce continued the song then told her adoring fans: 'I wanna thank y'all, for loving me. 'If ever I fall, I know y'all will catch me.' Katy Perry, meanwhile, nearly fell from a giant sphere on her Lifetimes tour in Australia and later appeared to slip on a butterfly-shaped prop during Roar. She had climbed into the huge metal structure when it began tilting dramatically at a strange angle. An army of quick-thinking backstage crew members raced onto the set in Australia to steady the massive prop so Katy – who was clinging on to the sides – could climb down safely. With the backing music stopped, the crowd could be heard applauding the star and shouting 'go, Katy!' as she made her way out and onto the floor.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's Netflix deal 'coming to an end'
Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex's Netflix deal is reportedly coming to an end. The couple signed an agreement with the streaming giant - said to be worth around $100 million - after stepping back as senior members of Britain's royal family and carving out a new life in California but a new report now suggests the lucrative contract will not be renewed after it expires in September. A source told The Sun newspaper: "The deal is done; no more shows will be made. Netflix feel they've got all they can from the couple ... They're not unhappy with how things turned out — they got those initial hits, and produced one of the most talked-about shows of all time. "There's no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course." Another insider told the Daily Mail newspaper: "They're just waiting for the credits to roll. They're letting it expire without drama. There's no appetite for anything new." The couple created a number of shows for Netflix including their tell-all documentary Harry and Meghan as well as the Duchess' lifestyle series With Love, Meghan and Harry's sport show Polo. Meghan is believed to be focusing on building her lifestyle brand As Ever, which has sold jam, teas, and biscuits and a rose wine since its launch but she previously announced she was pausing new product launches until she had a strategy in place to scale up production. Speaking to guest Tina Knowles on her Confessions of a Female Founder podcast, she said: "You can say, 'Oh, I made this in my house' ... I'm going, 'I just picked these strawberries, and it's so great! "Look, I just put a little bit of sugar and some Meyer lemon', and you try to scale that up and you're wanting to manage expectations, but you want to share the thing you've worked so hard on." Meghan compared the launch to a "sneaker drop" and noted that while the 'scarcity mentality at the beginning might be a hook for people', she didn't want to annoy shoppers. She added: 'I don't want you to eat that jam once every six months. I want that to be on your shelf all the time. "So for me at the moment, with As Ever, it was great. We planned for a year and then everything sells out in 45 minutes. "Yes, amazing – great news. Then what do you do? And then you say 'OK, we planned as best as we could'. Are we going to replenish and sell out again in an hour? Or is that annoying as a customer? "I'm looking at it saying 'just pause'. That happened. Let's wait until we are completely stable and we have everything we need."

Harry and Meghan to lose $100m Netflix deal as contract ends in big financial blow
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's $100 million deal with Netflix is coming to an end, with the streaming platform deciding not to renew their contract when it expires in September. The Sussexes and Netflix have agreed not to make an official announcement but sources have told The Sun executives have opted to quietly end the partnership. 'The deal is done; no more shows will be made. Netflix feel they've got all they can from the couple. Netflix were clever in that they got a hell of a lot of viewers for the first documentary series, and knew, realistically, it would prove the zenith of content from the Montecito pair,' they said. 'They're not unhappy with how things turned out — they got those initial hits, and produced one of the most talked-about shows of all time. The content got weaker from there on but, frankly, for £20million a year, anything was better than nothing.' 'There's no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course. Netflix execs are well aware Meghan's priority now is her own brand, and they won't play second fiddle to that. Publicly, there will not be a statement and of course, if things change dramatically, they'd be open to a one-off project down the line.' 'But for Harry, especially, this will be a blow. It's a huge loss of revenue.' Reports suggest that Meghan's lifestyle series As Ever failed to break into Netflix's top 300 titles, and Prince Harry's Polo documentary drew only modest audiences. Despite initial success with their first documentary, subsequent content struggled to connect with viewers. The couple is said to still be on good terms with Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and Paramount+ is reportedly interested in working with them if a suitable project arises. Netflix has not commented on the matter.
