Among the 19 allegations is that English attacked the woman, who is a model and influencer, while she was pregnant.
He is also claimed to have kept control of aspects of her life, including her money and contact with loved ones.
English, of Larkhall, Lanarkshire, shot to fame after he starred in reality TV show Glow.
He is also the host of the Anything Goes podcast, which has more than 700,000 subscribers on YouTube.
English was excused from attendance today at a case management hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
He was represented by his lawyer, Calum Weir, who pleaded not guilty on his behalf.
Prosecutor Siobhan Currie told the court: "This case is one which has grown arms and legs.
"However, I think we are at a stage where we should fix a trial and a full set of dates.
"There are one or two things still outstanding."
The hearing was told that the Crown are awaiting a statement from a police officer based in Wales, as well as body camera footage.

Miss Currie added: "The complainer intends to make an application that she wishes to give to give evidence from a court in Wales."
The hearing was informed that a trial would have to be set for a request to be officially made by the alleged victim.
Mr Weir stated that he is not prepared for trial due to "outstanding material" but agreed for a trial to be fixed.
Sheriff Bernard Abblett set a three-day trial for October this year, with a hearing also taking place in September.
English had his bail continued meantime.
A previous hearing was told that English gave a "no comment" interview to police officers.
The defence has also previously stated that they may call up to nine witnesses.
Court papers allege that English isolated the woman from her friends and family.
He is claimed to have repeatedly contacted her by telephone and sent her threatening and abusive text messages.
Another allegation says English repeatedly shouted and swore at her and uttered offensive remarks and threats of violence towards her.
It is further claimed he criticised her choice of clothing and controlled what she wore.
English is also accused of repeatedly accusing her of being unfaithful.
An allegation of violence includes kicking her on the body, causing her to fall off a bed and striking an item of furniture, seizing her on the body and pinning her against a wall.
English is also alleged to have searched her belongings for evidence of infidelity and monitored and interrogated her mobile phone for evidence of infidelity.
English is claimed to have seized her by the neck, compressed it and pinned her against a door when she was pregnant.
He is further alleged to have seized her on the head and pressed his thumbs into her eyebrows, to her injury when she was pregnant.
Another claim is that English controlled the amount of money she had access to and repeatedly threatened to withdraw her access to it.
English is stated to have driven her on a number of occasions to a train station and, on attending there, drove her home.
It is claimed he also provided her with expensive gifts and money and thereafter demanded that she return them to him.
English is alleged to have repeatedly threatened to remove a child from her care.
Another claim is that English repeatedly criticised her abilities as a mother and refused to let her breastfeed in public.
English is alleged to have repeatedly demanded that she delete her social media platforms and restrict her use of social media platforms in an attempt to restrict her financial independence.
Another violence claim is that he seized hold of her by her hair and pulled her downwards, which caused her to lose her balance.
A further allegation says he struck her on the face with an open hand.

Asylum seekers ‘gambling away tax-payer funded cash cards' meant for food and clothing ‘on slot machines and casinos'

Pre-paid cards given out to pay for basics including food and clothing are being used in gambling venues, Home Office data reveals. This is because they can only be activated by using the chip and pin. There are currently around 80,000 ASPEN card users in the UK. Shadow home secretary Chris Philp told PoliticsHome: 'It is shocking that over 6,000 illegal immigrants have attempted to use hard-working British taxpayers' money to gamble. "They have illegally entered this country without needing to – France is safe, and no one needs to flee from there. 'The British taxpayer has put them up in hotels, and now they slap us in the face by using the money they are given to fund gambling. "These illegal immigrants clearly don't need the money they are given if they are squandering it at casinos and arcades.' When asylum seekers are placed in fully catered hotels, the ASPEN card is loaded with roughly £9.95 per week. Meanwhile, in self-catered set ups, they are given around £49.18 per week. Data revealed, 227 migrants successfully used the cards to gamble in a week in November last year. Farage fury as cops admit ESCORTING pro-migrant protesters to Essex asylum hotel This month, were 40 incidents is the lowest recorded amount in one week. It is understood the Home Office is working on a solution to prevent this happening. Prepaid Financial Services and the Home Office have been contacted for comment. This comes as we revealed how migrants suspected of illegally working as delivery drivers were nicked by the Home Office yesterday. 9 Outrage was sparked this week after workers were spotted hauling beds into a posh London hotel Credit: SelwynPics 9 It has been confirmed that no asylum seekers are currently living there 9 Housing asylum seekers in hotels costs the taxpayer £5.77million a day Credit: Ray Collins The raid was sparked after the Government gave out the locations of asylum hotels. We revealed how platforms like Just Eat and Deliveroo would be able to block users from taking orders at known asylum accommodation sites. Yesterday Immigration Enforcement officers questioned a number of delivery riders in Wood Green, North London, where at least one man was detained. A photo shows officers talking to the men, including some wearing Just Eat uniforms. One rider suspected of working illegally, who was wearing a beige t-shirt, was searched and placed in the back of a van. And just two weeks ago, there was another Immigration Enforcement raid on the Thistle City Hotel in Islington, Central London, which had been used as a hub for illicit gig economy jobs. When The Sun returned to the hotel on Tuesday we found delivery rider bags and e-bikes were still parked in a fenced-off enclosure outside the three-star hotel. And we saw a steady stream of riders coming and going despite pledges by the Home Office to crack down. Outrage was also sparked this week after workers were spotted hauling beds into a posh London hotel that is set to house hundreds of asylum seekers. Labourers wheeled in the new furniture at the four-star Britannia International Hotel in Canary Wharf this morning, following an anti-migrant protest outside the property last night. Around 150 activists had surrounded the hotel - in London's eastern financial centre - last night after false reports claimed asylum seekers were being transferred there from another migrant hotel in Epping. The rumours, circulated on X by far-right figure Tommy Robinson, claimed migrants would be moved from The Bell Hotel in Epping to the Canary Wharf building. While the Home Office later debunked these claims, it has been revealed that the hotel - where rooms cost up to £460 a night - will be repurposed as temporary accommodation for asylum seekers. A spokesman for the Tower Hamlets Council said: 'We are aware of the Government's decision to use the Britannia Hotel in Canary Wharf to provide temporary accommodation for asylum seekers. 'It is important that the Government ensures that there is a full package of support for those staying at the hotel. 'We are working with the Home Office and partners to make sure that all necessary safety and safeguarding arrangements are in place.' It has been confirmed that no asylum seekers are currently living there - the Home Office reserves beds in empty hotel rooms in case of a surge in crossings over the summer period. Home Office sources revealed to The Sun that the average cost per night for a hotel room for a migrant is now £118.87, down from £162.16 in March 2023. Housing asylum seekers in hotels costs the taxpayer £5.77million a day. Some 23,534 migrants have already arrived on small boats this year — 48 per cent higher than this time in 2024. GROWING UNREST Chaos was sparked outside the hotel in Epping last week after an asylum seeker appeared in court charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. The unrest saw yobs launching themselves on riot vans, smashing windshields and ripping off wingmirrors in senseless displays of "hooliganism". One thug was even run over while attempting to stop a police van gaining access to the hotel. Another man had his teeth knocked out after riot cops smashed a shield into his face in a brutal clash. Cops arrested two men, aged 36, and 47, on suspicion of violent disorder under Section 2 of the Public Order Act. A 51-year-old has also now been charged with violent disorder. A 34-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of breaching Section 60AA of the Public Order Act. Meanwhile, two teens aged 17 and 16, were also arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a vehicle and going equipped to cause criminal damage, respectively. The force confirmed eight officers were injured in the clashes. The protest was sparked by a 38-year-old Ethiopian asylum seeker who was arrested and later charged with three counts of sexual assault, one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity and one count of harassment without violence. Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu, who had been living at the Bell Hotel, in Epping, Essex, denies sexual assault. He appeared at Colchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, July 10, where he denied all charges. His arrest led to multiple protests in the region, culminating in the violent clashes. Since tensions reached boiling point, violent demonstrations have cost the force £100,000. 9 A man jumping on a police riot van in Essex Credit: no credit 9 One protester was knocked down while trying to stop a police vehicle Credit: Newsflare

Mr Milne said: 'People who are protesting against Trump will definitely be taken care of. "But what about me and my home? "I wouldn't be surprised now that he's President if there were some MAGA supporters who would take this opportunity to have a go.' He added: 'He attracts all kinds of people. "There are those who hate what he stands for. "But there are a lot who are drawn to him and agree with everything he says. 'I really want to know what Police Scotland will be doing for my safety. But I'm guessing it will be something they've not thought about.' Mr Milne refused to sell up to Mr Trump when the mogul's resort in Menie was first announced. Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE family of Bailey Chadwick, who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run, have made a heartbreaking appeal to the driver to hand themself in. The 19-year-old was walking home in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire, when he was fatally injured on the B6265 in the early hours of Sunday. 8 Bailey Chadwick was tragically killed in a suspected hit-and-run on his walk home from seeing friends 8 His devastated mum and stepdad have urged the driver to come forward and turn themself in Credit: PA 8 Tributes at the scene where Bailey was killed Credit: PA Bailey had earlier been working at the Royal Oak pub before spending time with friends. He had been due to go travelling to Thailand this week and the police officer in charge of the investigation said the teenager had "a lifetime of adventures ahead of him". The young lad's parents have since made a desperate appeal to the driver to come forward and turn themself in as it's the "least they can do". Speaking close to the scene of the collision, Dayle Knights, Bailey's mum, said through tears "no words can express how absolutely devastated we are." "Bailey was just a normal, happy, outgoing 19-year-old, who had his whole life ahead of him," she added. The teenager's heartbroken stepdad, Daniel Horler, made an emotional plea to the driver to "do the right thing" and speak to the police. He said: "He should be living his best life seeing a new country, exploring new people, but instead he was left alone to die. "Bailey was torn away from us at such a young age. The fact that someone knows he was driving that night is heartbreaking for all of us. "Please, if it's you, do the right thing and speak to the police. "Please, if you have any information which will help trace the person responsible, please help. Shocking moment gang of robbers crash stolen Jaguar into cop car in horror head-on smash "If you've any empathy within you whatsoever, it's the least you could do." North Yorkshire Police are currently working to establish the vehicle involved and who was driving. Detective Inspector Jill Cowling, of North Yorkshire Police, said the driver may not be aware there was a collision but urged anyone with information to come forward. She said: "Now is the time to come forward. "The grief endured by Bailey's family is further compounded by the fact that the driver has not yet come forward. "I am now appealing directly to the driver of the vehicle to do the right thing for Bailey and his family and contact us immediately. "Bailey had everything to look forward to in his life. "He was a well-loved, popular young man with a lifetime of adventures ahead of him. "Now this is all gone." She added: "My thoughts at this time are with Bailey's family and friends as they face the overwhelming grief caused by the loss of their beloved Bailey. 8 North Yorkshire Police Detective Inspector Jill Cowling Credit: PA 8 Tributes have poured in for the 19-year-old who was due to go travelling this week Credit: PA 8 He had just finished a shift at the local pub Credit: Alamy "Over the coming days and weeks, we will continue to ensure that they are supported by our specialist family liaison officers. "I am also aware of how much this terrible incident has understandably shocked residents in the close local communities around Pateley Bridge and the surrounding villages at this distressing time - the many messages of love and kind words about Bailey are hugely appreciated and welcomed by his family." The Royal Oak pub where Bailey worked also paid tribute to the most "loveable" and "caring" lad. In a post online staff said: "The most loveable, caring, trustworthy, happy, smiley, beautiful young man we have ever had the honour of working with. A true gentlemen and friend." Flowers and tributes have been left close to where he was struck, including a Sheffield Wednesday flag and scarf - the football team he followed. One card said: "Light up the sky, you gorgeous, gorgeous boy. Love you always." Another said: "A lovely funny lad. So sad." The detective said detailed investigations are under way, including using CCTV footage, and there are a number of lines of inquiry. She said: "As the driver, this is your opportunity to come to us before we come to you. "If you know who was driving the vehicle which fatally injured Bailey, then please do the right thing and contact us now. "I am extremely grateful to everyone who has already come forward with information. "I urge anyone who can help with the investigation into this tragic incident to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
