ACME Solar commissions 112.5 MW second phase of Sikar project; operational capacity at 2,705 MW
ACME Solar
Holdings Ltd has commissioned 112.5 MW of capacity under the second phase of its Sikar Solar Power Project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, taking the project's total commissioned capacity to 165 MW out of a planned 300 MW, the company said on Tuesday.
The 112.5 MW was commissioned on May 19, 2025, following the earlier commissioning of 52.5 MW in early May. The remaining 135 MW is currently under commissioning.
With this milestone, ACME Solar's total operational capacity has increased from 2,592.5 MW to 2,705 MW.
The company said the Sikar Solar Project is expected to generate approximately 780 million units of clean energy annually once fully commissioned.
The electricity generated will be sold on power exchanges on a merchant basis and allocated based on optimal commercial utilization.

ACME Sikar Solar signs 25-year PPA with SECI for 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan
ACME Sikar Solar Pvt Lt signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India ( SECI ) for 300 MW capacity in Rajasthan at a fixed tariff of ₹3.05 a unit. The agreement follows the commissioning of 300 MW capacity by ACME Sikar this month. As per the agreement, the project will supply power on or before June 30, 2025. The project qualifies for inter-state transmission system (ISTS) charges waiver, aligning with the govt incentives aimed at early operationalization of renewable energy projects . With this, ACME Solar 's PPA-signed portfolio stands at 5,130 MW, of which 2,890 MW is already operational, and rest is under various stages of implementation. Additionally, the company has a firm pipeline of 1,840 MW for which letter of award (LOA) has been received, said the company in a release. ACME Solar's overall portfolio comprises 86 per cent offtake with central government enterprises and the rest 14 per cent with State discoms.

ACME Solar secures contract for setting up 275 MW energy storage capacity in Andhra Pradesh
ACME Solar Holdings has emerged as the winning bidder for NHPC's tender for cumulative capacity of 275 MW / 550 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Andhra Pradesh. The auction was part of a tender issued by NHPC in February 2025 to enhance energy storage capacity in Andhra Pradesh. The BESS capacity is spread across two projects at Kuppam and Ghani. The companys winning bid for Kuppam project was at a tariff of Rs 210,000 per MW per month with a capacity of 50 MW / 100 MWh. Its winning bid for Ghani project was at a tariff of Rs 222,000 per MW per month with a capacity of 225 MW / 450 MWh. The project requires system availability for two full operational cycles of two hours each every day. As part of the project, ACME Solar will receive viability gap funding of Rs 27 lakh per MWh or 30% of the total project cost, whichever is lower. Revenue from operations surged 64.95% year on year to Rs 486.89 crore in Q4 FY25. The scrip shed 0.12% to currently trade at Rs 247.95 on the BSE.
