The Major League Baseball Speedway Classic came to an anti-climatic end Saturday evening after heavy rain turned the field into mush and forced the Cincinnati Reds versus Atlanta Braves game to be suspended after one inning. But according to different fan accounts on social media, the event was a giant mess even without the rain. From bun-less hot dogs to cheese-less nachos, Bristol Speedway was more akin to the Jones residence from the classic 1995 movie Friday than it was to a ballgame. "Y'all ain't never got two things that match!" One apparent attendee provided photos of the awful concession food on X, saying the game was "the MLB version of Fyre fest." Yikes. Seriously?? Who thought that was a good idea? And to make it worse, the speedway charged full price for the part-time food, according to the same fan. Other attendees also shared their bad experiences on social media, which ranged from the food completely running out to problems with parking.
