Director Tarek Alarian has announced that work is underway on the script for the sequel to 'Tito', the 2004 blockbuster starring Ahmed El Sakka. The new project will centre on the child Tito adopted in the original movie, Reda, who was originally played by Essam Youssef, who left the acting industry to pursue a career in petroleum engineering.
The original 'Tito' was written and directed by Tarek Alarian and starred Ahmed El Sakka alongside Hanan Turk, Khaled Saleh, and Amr Waked. The film was a commercial success upon its release, earning around EGP 11 million, making it one of the highest-grossing films at the Egyptian box office that year.
'Tito' follows the titular character, who spends years in a juvenile correctional facility after killing a police officer. Upon release, he ends up working in illegal operations for a corrupt police officer. His life takes a turn when he meets a businessman willing to partner with him, and then falls in love with a woman named Nour played by Hannan Turk.

Ahmed El Sakka Teams Up with Yasmin Raeis in Film 'Hiroshima'

Yara Sameh Egyptian actor Ahmed El Sakka is set to star alongside actress Yasmin Raeis in the film 'Hiroshima'. It is scripted by Ayman Bahgat Amar and directed by Khaled Marei. The film features a group of prominent actors from Egypt and the Arab world. The cast also includes Diab, Hanan Motawie, Ahmed Rizk, Amr Abdel Gelil, Nahid El Sebaei, Alaa Morsi, and more. "Hiroshima" marks El Sakka and Raeis' second collaboration after the 2012 film "The Deal". Principal photography is expected to begin soon after final preparations are completed. Moreover, El Sakka is teaming up with Ahmed Fahmy and Amr Saad for a new film. El Sakka recently collaboration with Fahmy in the film "Ahmed Wi Ahmed," which recently hit theaters. Ahmed Nader Galal directs the film from a script by Ahmed Darwish and Mohamed Abdullah Samy. Film Square is the studio behind the pic.
