Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Angad Arrested From Shanti Niketan, Pari's Affair Exposed
The Virani household's drama has reached a new high. In the most recent episode of season two of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (which aired on August 1), Tulsi's daughter Paridhi, aka Pari, asks Tulsi to encourage her relationship and persuade Mihir of the same, causing emotional repercussions for which no family gathering is ever ready.
Everything happened during the celebration of Tulsi and Mihir's 38th wedding anniversary. Visibly anxious, Pari discreetly begs her mother for help persuading Mihir of her love interest.
What's Happening Inside Tulsi's Shanti Niketan?
Although Tulsi tries to help and offers consoling words, she lacks the confidence to publicly introduce Pari's boyfriend, which causes unpleasant tension when Mihir suggests a meeting with a potential alliance candidate. After successfully comforting Pari, Tulsi leads her downstairs to the celebration. To add to the drama, Gayatri Chachi delivers yet another derogatory remark regarding children and legacy while Hemant intervenes and defends Tulsi, reaffirming her strong family bonds.
Mihir asks Tulsi to arrange for Pari to meet her friend's son for marriage, but Tulsi avoids the encounter by making an excuse. Mihir and Tulsi's children later organise several surprises for their parents' 38th anniversary celebration.
Mihir recites a few heartfelt words for his better half, Tulsi, at the Varmala ritual. Both of them become emotional. The couple is ecstatic when their children surprise them with a dance. Following the anniversary festivities, Tulsi breaks down in tears as she and the rest of the family bid farewell to Karan-Nandini, Shobha, and Hemant.
The Drama Unfolds
Following their departure, Tulsi approaches Mihir and requests that he drop the plan to marry off Pari to the son of his business partner. Tulsi reveals to Mihir that Pari is truly in love with someone else. Mihir becomes irate when he learns about Pari's relationship and confronts Tulsi, questioning how she could have overlooked it while he was busy at the office and she was always at home.
As he enters Pari's room and begins to question her, he is brought back to her early years. He becomes emotional and forgets his fury. Mihir gets emotional and requests that Pari call her boyfriend to schedule a meeting. He also says that he would reject him if he disliked him. Following that, Mihir and Tulsi headed towards their room and Mihir eventually apologised to Tulsi for his hurtful words. The two eventually work out their disagreements.
Tulsi then looks in the mirror and tells Mihir that she has put on weight and appears a decade older than him. Mihir reassures her that despite the changes in her appearance, his love for her has not changed.
A shocking turn of events occurred just as everything was beginning to settle down: Angad is taken into custody by the police at Shanti Niketan, causing mayhem during the anniversary festivities. As the rest of the family struggles to deal with Pari's disclosure, Tulsi storms off to save him at the end of the episode.

The officer informs him that Traffic Police Inspector Nitin Gokhale is the a trouble because he has provided the CCTV footage. Sameer decides to bribe Nitin. On the other hand, Nitin is emotional as his sister, Vrinda, doesn't have basic educational resources. Sameer visits Nitin's house and offers him Rs 50,000 to delete the CCTV footage. When Nitin hesitates to accept the bribe, Sameer promises to give him Rs 5 lakh and walks away. Nitin's wife then argues with him for not accepting the money. While busy with house chores, Tulsi remembers Angad. Munni, the maid, tries to assure Tulsi that Angad is innocent. She reminds Tulsi how Angad has always been truthful and insists that he is innocent this time as well. Tulsi becomes emotional as the truth about Angad is not out yet. Early the next morning, Vrinda wakes up to complete her assignment. She notices that the television is on and sees news about Angad being jailed for a drink-and-drive case. While searching for her own pendrive, she unexpectedly finds Nitin's. She then sees CCTV footage of Sameer as the real culprit behind the accident. She then feels bad as Angad is innocent and is in jail. Vrinda decides to inform the truth to her brother. The following morning, Tulsi and Mihir are worried about Angad's situation. They observe Hemant and Hrithik discussing the cancellation of contracts at the company. Gayatri comments on how things are worsening. Mihir decides to bail Angad out, but Tulsi opposes this. Mihir argues and decides to sign the papers. However, Hemant intervenes and asks Mihir to not go against Tulsi's wishes. Gayatri and Mihir get upset. The episode concludes here.
