Following this, they end up as one androgynous person who is a fusion of Tim and Millie. This person answers the door in the final scene, indicating that they had embraced this new identity.
So, the film ends on a very unique note, with Tim and Millie's love triumphing as well as failing, giving viewers a lot to think about.

Tim and Millie's transformation begins when they encounter a mysterious substance in a cave.
The film also depicted a cult that was behind administering the substance that would fuse people together. They believed that humans were incomplete and required to fuse to achieve their true form.
But Tim and Millie accidentally encounter the substance, without coercion from the cult. Many things about this cult were intentionally left out, creating a sense of mystery.

Taylor Swift gets VMA nomination for artist of the year. See her competition
Despite not releasing any new music in the past year, pop superstar Taylor Swift has clinched a nomination for MTV's Video Music Awards. And it's artist of the year. The singer has some fierce competition: Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd and Lady Gaga, who leads the pack with 12 total nominations. Last year, Swift took home seven VMAs, pushing her career total to a record-setting 30. Though he didn't attend the New York award show, she thanked boyfriend Travis Kelce for his support. "When I'd finish a take, I'd always hear someone cheering from across the studio," she said during her acceptance speech when "Fortnight" was crowned video of the year. "Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic." Swift wore a plaid corset and skirt by Dior, thigh-high boots and fingerless gloves that stretched past her elbows. She later swapped outfits, stepping into a custom bejeweled Monse minidress featuring a spaceship on the front in a possible nod to her song "Down Bad," which compares love bombing to being abducted by aliens.
