Horror CCTV footage captures Paul Connor, a tree surgeon and dad-of-two, wrestling with Christopher Hewer inside the venue.
Two women, and a male staff member, attempt to separate the pair, to no avail.
One of the women, Hewer's partner Antonia Holliday, wearing a long floral skirt and black top, gets involved in the scrap.
She can be seen violently punching Connor, before a third female, rushes in and slams the her into a wall.
The woman, wearing a white jumper, is then violently dragged back by the hair, by Hewer.
At this point there are five pub-goers tangled together and scrambling on the floor.
Hewer can even be spotted stamping on one woman's head and face before Connor jumps in and drags him off.
Still swinging, thug Hewer is punched by Connor again and the pair are restrained by two staff members.
Carlisle Crown Court heard Connor spat the appliance engineer's ear off before a woman nearby picked it up and wrapped it in a napkin.
The chaotic fight was sparked at just before midnight after a "drunken" Hewer was talking loudly to customers' faces, the court heard.
He struck up a conversation with Connor, who was unknown to him.
An irritated Connor tried to ditch Hewer, who then walked away, but then came back and tried to punch him.
Prosecutor Tim Evans said: "It to the credit of a number of people, none more so than the staff member, that they try to stop the violence."
Connor, aged 33, of Fenton Close, Speke, Liverpool, admitted wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and also affray.

Hewer, aged 44, of West View Road; and Holliday, 36, of Hinnings Road, both Distington, admitted affray.
Connor's barrister Kim Whittlestone told the court her client's behaviour was out of character and "something snapped".
Mitigating for Hewer, Marion Weir said: "Even after two years he is feeling the effects."
Judge Michael Fanning sentenced Connor to four-and-a-half years in jail.
Sentencing Connor Judge Fanning said: "But I have to deal with you for what you have done - you have used a weapon to inflict this injury.
"Use of the teeth is a weapon."
Hewer received an immediate 18-month prison sentence.
Sentencing Hewer Judge Fanning said: "You started this.
"You provoked Mr Connor to the position he found himself in - you came out of this very much the loser with a very serious injury."
Holliday's 15-month custodial term was suspended for a year, as the judge noted she was the sole carer of two children.
She must complete 200 hours' unpaid work and also received an alcohol ban.

Manchester airport brawl began with Starbucks assault, jury hears
A brawl filmed at Manchester airport last summer followed an earlier incident at Starbucks, a jury has heard. Brothers Mohammed Fahir Amaaz, 20, and Muhammad Amaad, 26, are said to have used a "high level of violence" in assaulting three police officers in Terminal 2 on July were at the airport responding to an earlier incident at the Starbucks cafe where Amaaz headbutted a member of a public and punched him, Liverpool Crown Court heard. Both brothers, from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, deny the the prosecution case on Friday, Paul Greaney KC said police later traced the brothers at the terminal's car park payment area. Three officers, PC Zachary Marsden and PC Ellie Cook - both armed - and PC Lydia Ward, unarmed, approached the defendants, he Greaney went on: "The officers attempted to move Mohammed Fahir Amaaz away from a payment machine in order to arrest him, but he resisted, and his brother Muhammad Amaad intervened."He said they both assaulted PC Marsden. "In the moments that followed, the first defendant also assaulted PC Cook and then PC Ward too, breaking her nose," Mr Greaney said. "The defendants used a high level of violence."Amaaz is alleged to have assaulted PC Marsden and PC Ward, causing them actual bodily is also accused of the assault of PC Cook and the earlier assault of Abdulkareem Ismaeil at 26, is alleged to have assaulted Pc Marsden, causing actual bodily harm. Mr Greaney said the defendants had travelled to the airport with their young nephew to collect their mother who was due to arrive back on a flight from said it was clear that "something happened" involving Abdulkareem Ismaeil, who was on the same flight as the pair's mother, that "made [her] unhappy". She pointed out Mr Ismaeil, who was in Starbucks with his family, to her sons as they were walking through the terminal. "At just after 8.20pm, the defendants entered Starbucks and confronted Abdulkareem Ismaei," Mr Greaney said. "During that confrontation, Mohammed Fahir Amaaz delivered a headbutt to the face of Abdulkareem Ismaeil and punched him, then attempted to deliver other blows, all in front of a number of children."The prosecution case is that this was obviously unlawful conduct."Mr Greaney told jurors the prosecution's position was this was "not a complicated case" as the events were captured on CCTV. "So you will not have to depend only on the recollections of witnesses. You will also be able to see with your own eyes what happened," he said. Mr Greaney said the defendants would say "that at all stages they were acting in lawful self-defence or in defence of the other". "Our prediction is that you will readily conclude that the defendants were not acting in lawful self-defence and that their conduct was unlawful," he added.
