With less than three weeks to go until the 2025 MLB All-Star Game festivities take place in Atlanta, it's time to start thinking about who might try to steal the show during the Home Run Derby. With Ronald Acuña Jr. and now Cal Raleigh confirmed to take part in the long ball contest, that leaves six spots open—and we have some ideas.

Jake Mintz and Jordan Shusterman discuss their dream lineups for the derby and which players could make for the most exciting matchups. While Acuña Jr. seems to be the sentimental favorite to win, the addition of Elly De La Cruz and Mike Trout could make things even more interesting.
Also on this episode of the Baseball Bar-B-Cast, Jake and Jordan are joined by Athletics rookie sensation Jacob Wilson to talk about his excitement for the All-Star Game, adjusting to life in the majors and why he takes pride in striking out so rarely. The guys then recap news from around the league before making their picks for The Good, The Bad & The Uggla.

Clothing company aims to intersect fashion and sportswear
One clothing company is working to change the game when it comes to fashion and baseball. The company, Terez, was contracted by the MLB to create fashionable merch for women and children. This season, Terez dropped their third line for the Boston Red Sox. Advertisement 'What the MLB brought us in to do was to create something other than your pink V-neck sparkly t-shirt,' Terez's Head of Merchandising, Allie Tisch, said. Research from the Deloitte Center for Technology, Media, and Telecommunications suggests women are more likely to buy new sports merch over a 12-month time frame. 'I know for me personally, if there's an event, I want to buy something new to wear for it,' fan Avery Butt said. 'It's exciting to shop around.' However, some female fans tell Boston 25 News that the clothing offered to represent their favorite teams doesn't always reflect that. 'I feel like for clothes it's a lot more focused for men like different t-shirts and stuff,' said Butt. 'I feel like there's not a lot of fashionable options for women to wear like a Red Sox shirt or any sports,' fan Avery Butt said. Advertisement 'Generally, I feel like sometimes they make women's t-shirts kind of odd for sports merch like they don't fit right in the hips,' fan Bethany Laatsch said. This past fall, Terez also launched merch with the Boston Celtics and this fall, they will launch with the New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins. 'We want them to be able to come to the store and find something that they want to wear and not have to shop in the men's section,' Tisch said. This is a developing story. Tucker enjoys huge game against former team as Cubs hammer Astros
HOUSTON (AP) — Kyle Tucker launched a three-run homer and matched a season high with four hits against the team that traded him in December, and the Chicago Cubs routed Houston 12-3 on Saturday night to stop the Astros' five-game winning streak. Tucker also scored four times to pace a Cubs lineup that pounded out 15 hits, including three by Dansby Swanson. Seiya Suzuki, Michael Busch and Nico Hoerner also went deep. Advertisement Chicago hit three homers in an inning for the second time this season during a seven-run fourth. Busch and Hoerner had back-to-back solo shots to put the Cubs on top 3-2, and Tucker's drive made it 7-2. The offensive outburst came in support of Colin Rea (5-3), who allowed two runs and five hits over five innings. The only blemish on his line was rookie Cam Smith's two-run homer in the third, which briefly gave the Astros a 2-1 lead. Smith, part of the package Houston received for Tucker, finished with two hits and has homered in consecutive games for the first time in his career. Lance McCullers Jr. (1-3) came off the injured list and allowed eight runs on seven hits over 3 1/3 innings. Advertisement Isaac Paredes, also part of the Astros' trade return for Tucker, hit his 17th home run. Key moment Tucker's three-run homer in the fourth that put the Cubs ahead 7-2. Key stat McCullers has a 10.89 ERA in five home starts this season, but hasn't allowed an earned run in three road starts. Up next Houston LHP Framber Valdez (8-4, 2.88 ERA) opposes RHP Jameson Taillon (7-5, 4.77 ERA) when the series concludes Sunday. ___ AP MLB: The Associated Press
