Bruno Fernandes receives new approach to leave Man Utd this summer
Earlier this summer, Fernandes rejected a lucrative offer to join Al-Hilal with the Saudi side willing to pay the midfielder a contract worth £200 million over three seasons.
'There was an opportunity,' Fernandes said in June.
'The [Al-Hilal] president called me and asked if I wanted to go there. They were waiting for me. I spoke to coach [Ruben] Amorim. He asked me not to go.
'Manchester United didn't want to sell me. They don't need the money. If I had wanted to leave, they would have made it happen.'

However, A Bola reports that Al-Nassr have now made an attempt to sign Fernandes by approaching the 30-year-old this week.
The report claims that Al-Nassr's new head coach, Jorge Jesus, is personally driving the club's push to sign Fernandes having managed the midfielder for one season at Sporting CP.
Al-Nassr are said to feel that the presence of Jorge Jesus, as well as his Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, will be enough to convince Fernandes to make the move to the Saudi Pro League.
Earlier this week, Al-Nassr also secured a £43.7m (€50m) deal to sign Portuguese forward Joao Felix from Chelsea.

Speaking before the end of last season, Fernandes conceded that he could be sold by United in the summer transfer window.
'I will be here until the club tells me it is time to leave,' Fernandes said.
'I am available to make the club have great days again. The day the club thinks I am too much, or it is time to leave, football is like that and you never know.
'If the club thinks it is time to leave, because they want to make some money, that is what it is and football is like that sometimes.'

The latest developments come as United and Newcastle both brace for a decision from Sesko - with a deadline potentially coming as soon as Tuesday night. The striker is ready to trade the Bundesliga for the Premier League, but both clubs will feel they have a case. It has been a frustrating summer so far for Newcastle. Anthony Elanga their only senior outfield signing, joining in a £55m move from Nottingham Forest, while goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has joined from Southampton. They have missed out on other targets, though, with French striker Hugo Ekitike opting for Liverpool and Joao Pedro choosing Chelsea. It's not just forwards who have looked elsewhere, either, with centre-back Dean Huijsen moving to Real Madrid and goalkeeper James Trafford deciding to rejoin Manchester City. One man who could yet move to St James' Park is Yoane Wissa. Eddie Howe's side have so far failed to meet Brentford's asking price for the Congolese international, who has now returned to training in West London, but there is still time left in the window. "We're looking for the best players that we can get," Newcastle manager Howe said over the weekend. "Whatever our target position is, we're looking for the best so I see all situations open and available to us. I feel that's the only way that we're going to get to where we want to go, which is to maximise, and it's quality over quantity. "It always has been. That's always been the way that we try to work and the way that we try to recruit, and I think we've done it pretty well to this point. "It's been a challenging summer, because we've missed out on various targets for loads of different reasons, but we're still very competitive, and we're still in there trying to bring very good players to the club - and that won't change til the window shuts."

Manchester United have decided to reject approaches from five clubs for their defender Harry Maguire this summer, according to reports. Three teams in the Premier League and two from Italy have made offers to sign the England international centre-back ahead of the 2025-26 season. Maguire's current contract is due to expire next summer – and while talks have not yet taken place over an extension – United are keen to keep him. That's according to the Daily Mail, who also report that Maguire has no desire to leave Old Trafford and sees his long-term future at the club. Maguire turns 33 in March but wishes to spend the rest of his career with United and wants to emulate the likes of Denis Irwin and Steve Bruce.
