The tournament, held from June 24 to 28, was conducted on behalf of the Chess Federation of Physically Disabled (CFPD) and the All India Chess Federation (AICF).

Dhananjay Acharya, superintendent of post offices, Karwar division; MS Gonda, Honnavar postmaster, and fellow postal staff have extended their support to Rao for his outstanding performance.

"Ab aayega Captain Cool powder, oil, deodorant": Fans imagine the wackiest products Dhoni could launch

As news broke that former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni has filed a trademark application for the phrase 'Captain Cool', social media lit up with a flurry of hilarious and surprisingly informed reactions. The term, famously linked to Dhoni's unshakeable calm on the cricket field, is now set to become official property. According to the Trade Marks Registry portal, Dhoni's application, filed on June 5 and listed under Class 41 (sports training, coaching, and facilities), was accepted and advertised on June 16. While the trademark is focused on sports services, that didn't stop netizens from imagining a full-blown product universe. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like These Photos Captured the Exact Wrong Moment Read More Undo 'Ab aayega Captain Cool powder, oil, deodorant,' joked one user, summing up the mood online. — Being_Humor (@Being_Humor) Live Events On X (formerly Twitter), another user cheekily imagined a lineup of Captain Cool-branded underwear, condoms, and slippers, before clarifying that the registration is strictly for sports-related services: 'nothing cheeky like that just yet!' — ramnit1983 (@ramnit1983) Another user weighed in on the trend of celebrities trademarking fan-given nicknames: 'Next he'll trademark Thala. Someone will trademark King, Hitman etc. One has already done for letters S R and K.' — rkver2 (@rkver2) Many saw Dhoni's move as a strategic step towards launching his own sports academy or coaching brand. 'Bhai Class 41 is for training, entertainment and sporting,' tweeted another user. 'Woh academy khol raha hai apni. Tael sabun ki dukaan nahi.' — sharesandlife (@sharesandlife) Some couldn't resist taking it a step further. A parody list of future endorsements imagined by @ashishdeora69 included: Captain Cool Saria (construction steel) Captain Cool Dairy Products Captain Cool Tractor ('Ranchi farmers ki choices') And of course, Captain Cool chaddi-baniyan — ashishdeora69 (@ashishdeora69) While Dhoni hasn't commented on the filing, the timing is notable. The former skipper was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame earlier this month, alongside greats like Matthew Hayden and Hashim Amla. The ICC praised Dhoni for his 'extraordinary consistency, fitness and longevity,' and called him 'one of the game's greatest finishers, leaders and wicketkeepers.'

Did Tyreek Hill really beat Olympic champ Noah Lyles in a 100m race?

Did Tyreek Hill really beat Olympic champ Noah Lyles in a 100m race? (Image via Getty) Social media couldn't believe it: Tyreek Hill, the NFL's fastest man, had reportedly just outrun Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles in a 100-meter sprint. Fans flooded Twitter and TikTok with reactions, claiming Hill had just proved NFL speed can rival Olympic track royalty. What really went down was more complicated and just as fascinating. Hill did run the 100m recently and clocked an eye-popping time. And yes, he beat someone named Lyles. But it wasn't that Lyles. The real story behind Tyreek Hill racing out a Lyles As rumors spiraled, the truth got lost in the excitement. Now, with the dust settled and facts clear, let's break down what Tyreek actually accomplished, who he raced, and whether the "Cheetah" truly measures up to Olympic gold. Back in mid-June 2025, plans were in motion for Hill vs. Lyles to face off in New York's Times Square. With playful social media jabs, Hill claiming 'Noah could never,' and Lyles firing back, fans were hyped. But at a Cannes event on June 16, 2025, Lyles dropped a bombshell: the race was canceled due to 'personal reasons' and sponsor issues. So that showdown? Gone. Fast forward to June 28, 2025. Hill didn't wait around for broken promises. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Switch to UnionBank Rewards Card UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo He entered the ATX Sprint Classic in Austin, Texas, and crushed a 10.10-second 100m. He tailwind aided, but still blazing fast. The twist? His competition that day was Josephus Lyles, not Olympic brother Noah. Josephus is a legit sprinter in his own right, but Hill beat him fair and square. Unfortunately, that nuance got lost in the social media feed. Don't get it twisted, as Hill's performance is insanely fast, especially for a football guy. He's no flash-in-the-pan athlete. He even ran a legal 10.15-second 100m mid-June, showing his speed isn't one-and-done. B ut Olympic-level sprinters like Noah Lyles operate in the 9.7‑9.8 second range, mastered through meticulous training, decades of refinement, and world-class technique. That gap between 9.79 and 10.10 may only be tenths, but at that level, it's huge. The hype machine & what matters for Tyreel Hill No, Tyreek Hill did not race, let alone beat, Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles. He raced and beat Josephus Lyles on June 28, 2025, clocking in at a sensational 10.10 seconds. But the cancelled Hill–Noah event still haunts social feeds, thanks to viral momentum. Many fans jumped to congratulate Hill on 'beating Lyles,' when in reality, he beat Josephus. But let's be clear: Tyreek Hill is no slouch. A 10.10 or 10.15 100m is world-class for an NFL athlete. Still, Hill stands tall. He proved NASCAR-grade speed is more than just a catchy nickname; it's bona fide athletic prowess in case you couldn't recall. Patriots stuck with $28 million in coaching contracts, forced to give Mike Vrabel a no-fire year

Mike Vrabel's Patriots free season (Image via X) Mike Vrabel may be coaching the worst team in the AFC, but his job is the safest — and it's all thanks to dead money. After firing Bill Belichick and Jerod Mayo in back-to-back years, the New England Patriots are now stuck paying nearly $28 million to past coaches. In 2025, firing Vrabel would mean adding a third massive paycheck — and Robert Kraft has had enough. Kraft's coaching bill: $28 million and counting It started with Belichick's exit after the 2023 season. The legendary coach still had $25 million left on his deal. Then came Jerod Mayo, hired in 2024 and fired after one season. His contract? At least $3.5 million annually — a decision that proved as costly as it was brief. — NFL (@NFL) On the Locked On Patriots podcast, analyst Nick Cattles dropped a blunt truth bomb: 'If you look at Mike Vrabel realistically in 2025, this is, for all intents and purposes, a free season.' He doubled down on the financial logic, adding: 'There's no way on God's green earth that Kraft is going to fire another head coach.' Vrabel can go 2–15 and still keep his job But Cattles also made one thing clear — Vrabel won't treat it like a pass: 'I don't think Vrabel's going to coach it like it's a free season,' he said. 'He has pride in what he does. He wants to run a program that wins football games.' And that pride matters, especially in Foxborough. Vrabel has already warned players to expect major changes in 2025. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Honda SP160: Now with More Power and Style Honda Learn More Undo The former linebacker, who won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, brings not only familiarity but also credibility. He logged 54 wins with the Titans, made a 2019 AFC Championship appearance, and earned a league-wide rep for building a disciplined culture. Still, the real reason Vrabel is secure in New England has nothing to do with his resume. 'He had to pay Belichick last year for not being here. He's got to pay Mayo's contract. And Vrabel's reportedly being paid like a top coach.' Firing Vrabel now? That would mean footing the bill for three full head coaching salaries. No matter the 2025 record — even 2–15 — Mike Vrabel's job is locked in. In New England, job security isn't earned on the field anymore. It's written on the checks.
