Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said on Tuesday that in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to increase arms supplies to Kyiv, Russia will continue its military operation and pursue its objectives. اضافة اعلان Writing on his Telegram channel, Medvedev said: 'The American is once again back on his favorite political swing.' Commenting on Trump's statements about a settlement in Ukraine, he added: 'Trump's declarations go like this — 'I'm satisfied with the results of my talks with Putin. I'm dissatisfied with the outcome of my call with Putin... We are not providing Ukraine with new weapons... We will provide Ukraine with a large amount of weapons for defense.'' Medvedev questioned: 'How are we supposed to deal with this? We will respond as we have before — in the same manner followed by our fighters and by the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.' He concluded: 'With no reaction... We will continue to pursue the goals of the military operation in Ukraine, reclaim our territories, and fight until victory.'

On this day: Trump survives assassination attempt in Pennsylvania

One year ago today, on July 13, 2024, a campaign rally near Butler, Pennsylvania, became the scene of a shocking assassination attempt on Donald Trump, then a former president and the presumptive Republican nominee for the 2024 election. The incident occurred as Trump addressed a crowd at the Butler Farm Show Grounds. A 20-year-old gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, fired an AR-15-style rifle from the roof of a nearby building, striking Trump in his upper right ear. In the immediate aftermath, images of Trump with blood on his ear, yet defiantly pumping his fist as he was escorted away, went viral, becoming an iconic moment of the 2024 campaign. Trump was treated at a local hospital and released the same day, making a public appearance two days later at the Republican National Convention with a bandage on his ear. On the occasion, Trump said 'mistakes were made' but he's satisfied with the investigation into his near-assassination a year ago, as the Secret Service announced disciplinary actions against six staff members. In excerpts of an interview on Fox News' "My View with Lara Trump" show, airing Saturday, Trump, 79, said the elite close-protection service "had a bad day." "There were mistakes made. And that shouldn't have happened," Trump said in the interview conducted by his daughter-in-law Lara Trump, who has her own show on the Trump-friendly news channel. The sniper "was able to get him from a long distance with one shot. If he didn't do that, you would have had an even worse situation," Trump said. "His name is David and he did a fantastic job." Speaking of the post-incident investigation and "the larger plot," Trump said "I'm satisfied with it." "It was unforgettable," he said, recalling the drama.

MAGA supporters burn their hats in protest of Trump's Epstein remarks

ALBAWABA - Several clips have gone viral on social media after capturing alleged Trump supporters burning their MAGA hats after the US President's recent remarks regarding Jeffrey Epstein, his notorious island, and client list. Reports about Jeffrey Epstein were reignited by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after they revealed that he committed suicide during his prison sentence and didn't have a client list for his notorious island. In addition to its official claims, the DOJ released a video that captured Esptein in his cell alone during the night he died, revealing no foul play or an external factor. However, the closure of years of speculation, conspiracy theories, and political tensions didn't sit well with many individuals, sparking more debate on social media. In response to those speculations, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social account with a tabloid-like post, accusing "crooked Hillary," Obama, and other political figures from the Biden administration of creating the Epstein files and conning the world with the "Russia, Russia, Hoax." He wrote that "selfish people" are trying to harm MAGA, as he described it as a "PERFECT Administration," urging his supporters to let US Attorney General Pam Bondi do her job. Content creator Philip DeFranco wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter), "The more Trump talks about Epstein, the weirder and guiltier he comes off." He added, "Even his supporters on Truth Social are like wtf are you talking about." Trump's Truth Social post turned many heads, which reignited rumors about his link to the Epstein Client List and comments saying that the US President is "acting guilty." His post also triggered a series of comments from individuals urging the president to "release the files" and accusing Pam Bondi of "lying" to them. Trump's recent political tensions and links to Epstein also triggered a movement from alleged supporters, who took to social media with videos of them burning their MAGA (Make America Great Again) hats. The more Trump talks about Epstein, the weirder and guiltier he comes the Epstein list was made by Obama and Hillary? And no one cares about Epstein even though Trump and his people pushed this? Even his supporters on Truth Social are like wtf are you talking about.

Russia attacks west Ukraine with drones and missiles, kills two

Ammon News - Russia pounded Ukraine with hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles on Saturday, in the fourth major attack this month, targeting western cities and killing at least two people in Chernivtsi on the border with Romania. President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said that Russia launched 597 drones and 26 missiles, killing two people, wounding 20, and damaging civilian infrastructure from Kharkiv and Sumy in the northeast to Lviv, Lutsk, and Chernivtsi in the west. Ukrainian air defence units shot down 25 missiles and 319 Shahed drones and jammed 258 other drones with electronic warfare, the air force said. "The pace of Russia's aerial strikes demands swift decisions – and it can be curbed now by sanctions," Zelenskiy said on the Telegram app, issuing a fresh call for tough sanctions on Russia and more air defence for Ukraine. The attack is the latest in a series of massive aerial strikes over recent weeks. Russia has significantly ramped up its drones and missile strikes on Ukraine since June. Reuters
