Law and The City episode 5 will air on tvN on Saturday (July 19) at 9:20 PM KST. Law and The City is an ongoing legal drama starring Lee Jong Suk, Mun Ka Young, Kang You Seok, Ryu Hye Young, and Im Seong Jae. Screenwriter Lee Seung Hyun wrote the script for this mini-series, and Park Seung Woo directed it. The legal drama revolves around the lives of five associate lawyers working at Seocho Judicial Town. In South Korea, the K-drama will air on tvN. International Korean drama lovers can watch this mini-series on various streaming platforms, including Disney+.
The supporting cast of this drama have unique and dynamic roles to play. Yeom Hye Ran appears in the mini-series as Kim Hyung Min, the owner of Hyungmin Building. Lee Seo Hwan plays Sung Yu Deok, managing partner of Law Firm Chunggong. Jung Hye Young portrays Kang Jung Yoon, the managing partner of Law Firm Johwa. The preview stills teased a change in the dynamic between Ahn Ju Hyeong and Kang Hui Ji. According to the production team, the distance between the two attorneys will gradually decrease. The relationship between them evolves in the upcoming chapter.
"Law and The City was a project that taught me the value of working together. What I considered one of the drama's biggest strengths was its cast. We often shared thoughts on characters, emotions, and scenes, asking questions and learning from one another on set," Lee Jong Suk said.

Through the service, fans can watch live broadcasts, chat with BTS members in real time and purchase concert tickets and official merchandise. Available in 245 countries, Weverse recorded 10 million monthly active users in the first quarter of 2025 . Since its launch in June 2019, no artiste other than BTS has reached this scale of following. According to YG Entertainment on July 19, Jump reached No. 1 on the global weekly chart dated on July 17, following their previous chart-topper Shut Down from their 2022 studio album Born Pink. Blackpink now holds the record for both the first and the most No. 1 entries on the chart by any K-pop group. The song's streaming performance was equally notable. Jump garnered 44,759,923 streams in just one week — the biggest debut for any track released in 2025 so far. SEOUL - Netflix's hit K-drama When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025) dominated this year's Blue Dragon Series Awards, taking home four trophies, including the top honour, the Grand Prize. Now in its fourth year, the annual ceremony is a spin-off of the prestigious Blue Dragon Film Awards, created to recognise excellence in South Korean streaming series. This year's event was held on July 18 at Paradise City in Incheon. The period romance emerged as the biggest winner of the night, securing awards for Grand Prize, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Popular Star Award. Stealing the spotlight was singer IU, who claimed her first Best Actress award for her dual performance in the 16-episode show. She portrayed both the young version of Ae-sun and her daughter Geum-myeong, delivering a powerful portrayal that resonated with global audiences and brought depth to the emotional arcs of both characters. 'This show will remain the greatest pride of my life,' IU, 32, said onstage as she accepted the award. 'I offer my deepest respect and gratitude to all the Ae-suns who lived boldly and clearly in a world that demanded they remain unseen, and to all the Geum-myeongs who firmly planted their desires and nurtured them into reality.' Veteran actress Yeom Hye-ran, 48, won Best Supporting Actress for her role as Gwang-rye, Ae-sun's mother. 'I've never received so many cheers and compliments in my life. I may not deserve them, but I'm deeply honoured,' she said, thanking the series' production team for their support. IU, whose real name is Lee Ji-eun, also received the Popular Star Award alongside actor Park Bo-gum, 32, who portrayed the younger version of Ae-sun's husband Gwan-sik.
