Aldi brings back '10/10′ garden shade that costs under £20
ALDI has brought back a customer favourite garden product that shoppers say is "10/10". The Garden Sail Shade Kit is back in stores currently and offers protection from the sun for your garden or patio. 1 It's just £19.99, making it a great bargain alternative to a parasol. Unlike a parasol, you won't need to struggle with setting up a pole or worry about transporting a heavy base around. All the fixtures and fittings are included so it should be a relatively easy set-up. At 300cm x 200cm, it might not cover your whole garden area but it could create a shaded area over your outdoor dining set. It comes in either a rectangle or a triangle shape so you can choose what suits your space best. Plus it's in two different colours: beige or navy. The shade is water repellent so should hold up well if it rains. It's an Aldi Specialbuy which means that once it's gone, it's gone. But it has been on Aldi shelves in previous years. One shopper wrote on Aldi's Instagram: "Snail shade is 10/10 I've had it for a year x." Other social media users say they have had their shades for even longer. One person wrote: "Dont know the dimensions but we have the rectangle one and love it.. we have had it for 6 summers still going strong." Another said they owned the shade already and "love, love, love it !" Other garden shade options If you're looking for something a little different, there are some other options you can consider. Aldi is selling The Instant Canopy, which it claims can be set up in just three minutes. It's a little more expensive at £44.99 but has dimensions of 3 x 3 x 2.7m. Aldi says it will be perfect for "sudden summer rains" - something that could be useful this weekend. You could also go for a parasol if you want a particular area to be shaded. Tesco is selling the Harbour Housewares Wooden Garden Parasol, which is a steal at £36.99. Meanwhile Robert Dyas has the five-star Monaco Grey 2.7m Parasol. It's currently on offer for £39.99, down from £49.99. A well-kept garden can add anywhere between 5-20% to the value of a property. carried out a study and consulted 36 estate agents, garden designers and property professionals from across the UK. And the experts revealed the garden feature which adds the most value to a property is a shed. Shed - 82% Patio or paving - 76% Secure fencing, walls or gates - 72% Outdoor lighting - 66% Sturdy decking - 62% Water features eg. fountain or pond - 58% Modern garden furniture - 54% Artificial lawn/grass - 40%
