Oasis fans discover new genius way of watching the sold-out shows for free
Two Oasis fans who failed to get tickets to the band's sold-out tour found a genius way to watch their homecoming gigs at Manchester's Heaton Park.
Posting a video to TikTok, @softgirlswhohikle shared a clip of the male fans, who might have got a better view of the stage than most people in the crowds. "No tickets for Oasis? Get the cherry picker out!" the caption said.
"At least they didn't forget their bucket hats," they added. The post quickly racked up more than 160,000 likes, with fans saying both Oasis and Liam Gallagher and brother Noel Gallagher reposted the short clip to their own social media accounts.

And people were impressed with the Oasis fans' efforts, with one referencing the astronomical price of the tickets - some of which reached £500 – in the comments: "Cheaper to hire than paying for a ticket."
Another posted: "This is definitely maybe iconic." A third asked: "Genius! Are they taking bookings? Asking for a friend." A fourth joked: "That's Bez and Shaun Ryder [from the Happy Mondays]." A fifth added: "Well done lads... I'm surprised the council didn't try and put a fence around it!" While a sixth added: "Champagne Supernova in the SKYYYYYYYY!!!"
After kicking off their reunion tour in Cardiff on Friday, July 4, Oasis have already played five nights in their native Manchester at Heaton Park.
Tonight (Friday, July 25) is the first night of another five-night stretch, this time at London's Wembley Stadium. The band last played at Wembley on July 12, 2009, as part of their 'Dig Out Your Soul' tour.

It became one of their final gigs before they sensationally split in Paris later on that year. But the venue doesn't hold good memories for older brother Noel, 58, who previously tore into 'our kid' Liam, 52, over a previous performance.
Describing a gig in the year 2000 there as their 'worst ever', he declared: "That was the low point in Oasis. It was a horrible two-and-a-half hour on stage. Liam can hang his head in shame. It was dreadful."
So the band will be pulling out all the stops to make sure the next five nights are ones to remember for all the right reasons. After their London gigs, they will go on to play dates in Edinburgh and Dublin, before taking the tour international.
After a 16-year feud, so far Liam and Noel are holding it together on tour – and were even spotted holding hands on stage.
Though things appear to be fine between the brothers now, Liam recently opened up to reveal what his one major regret about the band was. A fan asked him on social media: "How does it feel singing songs with ur brother again? Like old times?" Liam responded: "You know what it's spiritual, but I can't help think about all those wasted years, what a waste of PRECIOUS time."
But could fans see the once-warring brothers again after their upcoming tour? Replying to a fan, Liam teased: "Let's see how this tour goes and if we still love each other after it."

'UK's poshest Greggs' is in Grade II listed building and steeped in history
Greggs is one of the UK's most beloved fast food chains, and fans of the eatery are just realising there's a particularly 'posh' branch in a 300-year-old building There's nothing quite like sinking your teeth into a Greggs pastry while you're rushing about, or grabbing one of their sandwiches or coffees from the beloved sausage roll emporium for your lunch. Devotees love it for being affordable and dependable - and you can spot its distinctive blue, white and yellow Greggs branding from miles away. But this particular branch in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, appears rather different and has been crowned "the poshest" Greggs in Britain. This extraordinary branch sits within a 17th century Grade II* listed structure and is frequently hailed as the most beautiful Greggs across the nation. The heritage building's facade features timber panelling and merges Victorian, Georgian, Tudor and 1930s architectural elements. Back in the 1700s, it launched as a grocer and tea merchant, which remained in business until the 1960s. Today, it houses Britain's beloved bakery chain. Until recently, the outlet was covered in scaffolding as part of an 18-month restoration scheme. This work is now finished: the building's front has been reconstructed whilst numerous windows have been renewed and sections of the roof have been fixed. On Reddit, the outlet was christened "the country's poshest Greggs". This week, a TikTok user posted footage of the establishment and declared: "Sorry but this is the poshest Greggs I've ever seen."
