Syasya Rizal admits challenges in changing her ways
The 24-year-old singer, who tied the knot and began wearing a hijab following her decision to leave the group, said that she was truly tested following the decision that made her want to return to her past life at times.
"People think that I am somehow pious now. But I am still the same person, just trying to be a better person," she said.
At the same time, Syasya said that she always has to remind herself to not be arrogant in the process of transforming herself.
"To all the women out there who are struggling to be consistent, it is okay to do it slowly. Do not force yourself. We don't all have the same journey, so don't compare yourself to others," she said.
In other news, the singer recently released her first Eid song as a solo artiste with Fazura titled "Raya Pumpang".

Nur Fazura says no plans to date after divorce from Fattah Amin
23 Jun - Even though she is single again, actress Nur Fazura recently said that she has no plans to find a new man for the time being. The actress-entrepreneur, who spoke to the media to promote her new song, "Luar Biasa" recently, said that her divorce from actor Fattah Amin still felt new despite them calling it quits eight months ago. "It hadn't crossed my mind to find a replacement. I think it is too early to be thinking about this since the divorce still felt new," she said. Fazura admitted that she received a lot of well-wishes from fans who want her to find a good man and that she appreciated all of them, but that now is not the time. "My focus now is only on my daughter, Nur Fatima, as well as the business that I am managing," she added. As to whether she has been approached by any man, Fazura smiled and responded, "No. Honestly, I am happy, at peace and relieved with life now. I am comfortable with the current situation."
