
GNG Electronics IPO subscribed 146.90 times
The initial public offer of GNG Electronics received bids for 2,08,43,32,446 shares as against 1,41,88,644 shares on offer, according to stock exchange data at 17:30 IST on Friday (25 July 2025). The issue was subscribed 146.90 times.
The issue opened for bidding on 23 July 2025 and it will close on 25 July 2025. The price band of the IPO is fixed between Rs 225 and 237 per share. An investor can bid for a minimum of 63 equity shares and in multiples thereof.
The IPO consists of a fresh issue of Rs 400 crore and 2550000 equity shares through offer for sale. Out of the proceeds from the fresh issue, Rs 320 crore will be used for repayment/prepayment/redemption, in full or in part, of certain borrowings availed of by the company and its material subsidiary, namely, Electronics Bazaar FZC, and the balance for general corporate purposes.
GNG Electronics, under the brand Electronics Bazaar, offers end-to-end refurbishing services for laptops, desktops, and ICT devices. With operations across India, the USA, Europe, Africa, and the UAE, the company provides sourcing, refurbishment, sales, and after-sales support, including ITAD and e-waste management.
GNG serves major clients like Vijay Sales, HP, and Lenovo through tailored buyback programs and sells refurbished devices in 38 countries via a network of 4,154 touch points as of 31 March, 2025.
Ahead of the IPO, GNG Electronics on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, raised Rs 138.13 crore from anchor investors. The board allotted 58.28 lakh shares at Rs 237 each to 14 anchor investors.
The firm reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 68.83 crore and sales of Rs 1,411.11 crore for the twelve months ended on 31 March 2025.

Starlink gets licence to begin India ops, way cleared for spectrum allocation
India has officially granted Elon Musk's Starlink a licence to provide satellite-based internet services, paving the way for the company's entry into the country's growing digital market, Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Thursday. The approval comes as India marks the 30th anniversary of its first-ever cellular call, made on July 31, 1995."Starlink has been granted a Unified License to launch satellite internet services in India. Frameworks for spectrum allocation and gateway establishment are ready, ensuring smooth rollout," news agency PTI quoted the Union minister as Department of Telecommunications (DoT) granted Starlink the authorisation earlier in July. The company had first applied for permissions in 2021 but faced delays over spectrum allocation and regulatory approvals. The recent green light follows months of engagement with Indian authorities and marks a significant step toward offering internet access in remote regions of the country. Starlink, operated by Musk's SpaceX, is expected to compete with other players such as Bharti Group-backed Eutelsat OneWeb and Reliance Jio's JV with SES, both of which are awaiting spectrum allocation to begin operations. Cabinet nod to 3rd, 4th lines from Dangoaposi to Jaroli
Bhubaneswar: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Thursday approved four railway projects, including the Dangoaposi-Jaroli third and fourth-line projects from Odisha and Jharkhand. The total estimated cost of all four projects is Rs 11,169 crore and will be completed by 2028-29. These multi-tracking proposals are poised to streamline operations and alleviate congestion. The projects are planned under the PM-Gati Shakti National Master Plan, focusing on enhancing multi-modal connectivity and logistic efficiency through integrated planning and stakeholder consultations. These projects will provide seamless connectivity for the movement of people, goods, and services. The Network Planning Group (NPG) meeting held in New Delhi on Dec 19, 2024, evaluated five projects for their conformity to the principles of PM-Gati Shakti. This included the Dangoaposi-Jaroli third and fourth-line projects in Odisha. "These lines will play a critical role in transporting iron ore from the mineral-rich Keonjhar region to industrial hubs and Paradip port," said an official source. TNN
