49% off Y0140 iRobot Roomba (bringing it to $10 cheaper than its last lowest price) because if robots are gonna steal our jobs, it might as well be the bad ones. This bagless machine vacuums AND mops at the same time with a special brush, meaning you might actually have clean floors for once.
Promising review: "I love this robot. We got this because our baby is constantly on the floor, so we just wanted a little extra help with keeping the floors clean. We run it every night, and seeing how much it picks up blows our mind. We have two dogs, so dog hair and Cheerios are mainly what we get, but it has definitely made a difference with our floors on top of what we already do to keep our floors clean. Highly recommend. We have vinyl wood floors, so it runs fine on it, but it can go on carpet as well. We just leave the room doors closed because it is very loud when it runs and we don't want it to come into the rooms." —MakaylaPrice: $139.99 (originally $274; also available in two other styles for a different or no discount)
Up to 43% off a Casper Original Hybrid Mattress that won't creak or send you rolling directly into the middle like a deflating air mattress.
One BuzzFeed editor says, "I've been sleeping on a Queen-size Casper Hybrid mattress for a two years now and WOW did I not know what I was missing!!! I previously opted for cheaper bed-in-a-box options that were fine, but just didn't even compare to Casper. I am a stomach sleeper and I prefer my bed to be super squishy but I also know that's terrible for my spine. The Casper Hybrid has a combination of springs and foam (with three ergonomic zones that alleviate spinal pressure) so it's extremely comfortable *and* supportive. I also love the extra edge support because my cats are bed hogs and I often end up pushed to the side so at least I'm not rolling off!"Price: $682+ (typically $1,095+ (and currently $1,095+ at Casper); available in sizes twin XL–California king)
53% off a set of five KitchenAid mixing bowls in the chic shade "pistachio" — perfect for whipping up pancake batter, tossing a summer salad together, or even just displaying fruit on the counter. Btw, they have a nonslip bottom so they'll stay in place during even vigorous whisking and stack neatly to save space.
Promising review: "I love these bowls. They stack nicely to save space, are durable, and have a slip-resistant bottom. I also love that there are so many sizes. I had acquired one of these bowls many years ago. I believe someone had left it at my house from a party. I loved that bowl and used it all the time. After 10 years of use, it was time to say goodbye. I decided to get this set so that I had all the sizes I needed. I know that these will last me another 10 plus years." —CandicePrice: $27 (originally $57.99; also available in aqua blue; measuring cups/spoons and other bundles also available in the same listing) — and shop all the KitchenAid deals here
22% off (that's the lowest price this goes for!) a compact Levoit air purifier with a true HEPA filter to trap that pesky dust, pollen, smoke, pet dander, and other particles in the air that are keeping your home from smelling fresh...and keeping you sneezing. Plus this has smart features, like the ability to control it from your phone *and* the ability to set a schedule, so it'll automatically set itself to "sleep mode" with "no nightlight" at 10 pm every night. Now that's smart.
Just note that when you get it, you need to take the filter out and unwrap it before using!Promising review: "I waited over a month to write a review — this air purifier is amazing!! It's one of those products that you don't understand how much of a difference it makes until you get one. I have two cats, and my house is all carpet, so the house can smell stagnant sometimes, especially if the AC is off. One of my cats also has asthma, so I got this air purifier mostly for her, but it's made such a HUGE difference in the way my home smells. Since having it, my house has consistently smelled fresh, clean, and odorless. Even after forgetting to clean the litter boxes, my house has not smelled like cat litter since I've had it. It's very easy to set up. I bought a little plant stand to put it on so it wouldn't be on the carpet. It's very quiet, and the app is easy to use. It tells you the life of your filter, which is super helpful, and these filters last for a long time! You can set it up to be on a schedule, so you can set it up once and just forget about it. I recommend this air purifier to everyone. I'm NEVER worried about my house smelling anything but clean now. I would repurchase this a thousand times over." —haileePrice: $69.97 (originally $89.99; deal available for the white model)

It's a bit heavy but its made to last. The lid seals perfectly and given the fact that it's heavy it will keep the heat perfectly. Color is as in the picture. Really good value for the money." —MariaReyesPrice: $115 (originally $150 (and currently $145 at Our Place); available in two colors)
Up to 41% off an electric, adjustable standing desk so you can stretch your legs and take standing breaks throughout the day, without missing a beat in your emails or meetings. This allows you to simply raise or lower your computer to eye level with the press of a button.
I personally own and use one of FlexiSpot's standing desks every day and love it!Promising review: "This desk is wonderful! I got it to switch from a stationary to a sit/stand desk. I liked that the desktop was one solid piece (vs some that are 2 pieces), and I liked the combination of desktop and desk leg colors. My dad and I worked to put this together, and it took us about an hour. All the of the screws and things needed came in nicely labeled bags and it was really easy to figure out what we needed to use. You do need to supply your own screwdriver or drill. Once put together, it was easy to set the default heights for sitting and standing. The desk is actually pretty quiet when it moves! It is not super fast to raise/lower, but it moves along at a nice pace, and everything feels sturdy when it's moving. I have been using this for about a week now and I love it!" —Amazon CustomerPrice: $99.99+ (originally $169.99+; available in five sizes) And check out the rest of FlexiSpot's Prime Day deals!

I researched all the available portable cleaning machines, and this one seemed to have the best ratings. I was amazed at the results when I used it on the chairs. Years of ground-in dirt and grime came out easily, and when I looked at the solution that was vacuumed out it was the color of dark chocolate. I did a second cleaning and then used a spray bottle to apply clean water to rinse. Honestly, the chairs looked so good, and even my son was so impressed that he bought one. I highly recommend it, and I rate it five stars plus!" —Kathleen PetroPrice: $81.99 (originally $123.59)

The thing I love the most is you can set up times for it to come on and turn off. We were connecting our laptop via USB cable and that was a pain with the cable running across the living room. After a friend suggested this we were still in debate...would it work? Could we figure it out? Would it be a pain to use? We are not tech experts so any changes are usually challenging. But it was so easy. We did it in 15 minutes and were already adding to our watchlist. Literally thousands of shows to choose from. Old favorites, new exclusives, and movies galore. Alexa is there to help. So happy with this purchase and much cheaper than buying a new TV. Thank you Amazon for another great product." —LucyPrice: $17.99 (originally $39.99)

Add that to the programmable portion sizes and meal schedule, and this actually solves *two* of my problems: my cat's desire to have breakfast at 5 AM and her tendency to eat too much and then throw up. I can set this to give her a half-portion at 5 and then follow it up a few hours later with a second half-portion to get her through to dinner. All the wins!" —Chris GalbreathPrice: $46.93+ (typically $69.98; available in two colors and a model with a camera)

$400 off a 49-inch Samsung ultrawide monitor (the 2024 model) that'll significantly expand your screen space so you can stop painstakingly switching between tabs all the time — a productivity game-changer.
Promising review: "Hands-down the best thing ever to happen to my productivity working from home. My favorite thing about this monitor — besides the incredible amount of screen space I now have to display and organize everything I need — is the sheer number of cables it has cut out and the amount of desk space it has freed up. My dual monitor setup required two power cables and three HDMI/displayport connector cables. Using my laptop required the laptop charger and AND required the laptop to be open on my desk. Now I only have one cable to power the monitor, 2 HDMIs to my PCs and a single USB-C that both powers and connects my laptop, which means I can leave it closed on a stand behind my monitor. I am so, SO happy I bought this monitor and am kicking myself for not doing it sooner. " —KellyPrice: $799.99 (originally $1,199.99; also on sale in a 34-inch size)And check out the rest of Samsung's Prime Day deals!
35% off a set of 22 Rubbermaid Brilliance containers (they've only been this cheap one other time in the past year) made of BPA-free Tritan plastic that's designed to *stay* crystal clear and not absorb any odors. They are truly leak-proof (perfect for meal prep or lunches!) and have built-in venting lids for easy reheating.
Promising review: "For nearly all of my adult life, I was simply getting Gladware or Ziplock, letting them slowly deteriorate over the course of a few months, recycling them (or losing them), lather rinse repeat. It finally occurred to me to splurge on some good ones. I'm not one to review things very often, let alone food storage containers, but here we are. I've been so impressed and satisfied with these in just a few months that I feel compelled to tell y'all about them. They're super airtight, the plastic is crystal clear, and they've each been through the wash a dozen times with no particular sign of wear and tear yet. Usually by this point, the Ziplocs are cloudy, warped, have holes, etc. But these guys, they just keep ticking. We've put soup directly in them, frozen them, you name it. Worth the extra few bucks to keep a few more items out of the landfill." —Eric BeneauPrice: $84.99 (originally $129.99; smaller sets are also on sale)

And it easily converts from a stick vac to a hand vac!
Promising review: "In the last 10 years I've had a Dyson, Shark, 2 off brand cordless vacuums and now this Bissell. I would say I'm an expert on the cordless stick vacuum, and this is top of the charts!! I have a dog that sheds, so I vacuum daily. I chose this vacuum because of the pet hair attachment and it doesn't disappoint! It works as well as the Dyson, and is substantially better than the Shark, for less than half of what either of those cost. It came with a nice variety of attachments, as well as a wall charging mount. The vacuum is sturdy, portable, and very easy to use." —A HudsonPrice: $149.99 (originally $229.99) And check out the rest of Bissell's Prime Day deals!
35% off a Nespresso Vertuo Plus (cheaper than it's been in a full year) so you can enjoy a lovely high-quality coffee beverage (it makes single and double espressos AND 5-, 8-, and 12-ounce coffees) while saving serious moolah. This one's designed to fit small kitchens, too! Trust me, the amount of money you'll save on Dunkin/Starbies alone will make this a worthwhile investment.
Promising review: "I love an iced white chocolate mocha latte, and now I can make them at home. I love the Nespresso machine so much that I use it every day. It is a little loud, but I don't care. It makes the best espressos. The little tray is super easy to clean off and actually catches the drips at the end. I really like how the water container can move around to fit wherever you need it to go. It gets hot enough to melt the chocolate chips I put in my cup. This is great. It helps me save money on coffee, and I can tell it's pretty durable! I use it at least two times a day, and I've never had any issues with it opening or closing." —Kyra MalkowskiPrice: $109.85 (originally $169)
36% off (that's $170 off!) a Dyson V8 Plus cordless vacuum that's lightweight, powerful, and capable of capturing ~99.99% of particles~. Plus it comes with a hair attachment to pick up pet fur and shed human hair too!
Promising review: "Best vacuum for pet hair. After going through many different makes of vacuum cleaners, I have finally found one that works for the fur of our long-haired dog. I had heard how great the Dyson series of vacuums were, but was always put off by the cost. Finally, after being frustrated by other brands which were effective for a period but then became more useful as doorstops than as a cleaner, I made the decision to 'bite the bullet' and spend the extra money on the brand-name vacuum. The first time I used my Dyson, it picked up handfuls of fur from areas that I thought were clean. The carpets look cleaner, and hardwood floors pristine. Suction is strong even on the lower setting to make floors look like new. Emptying the canister is as easy as could be. Battery life is sufficient to clean my small home. I love that by placing the Dyson in the wall hanger it attaches directly to the charger. No searching for charging cords, or charging/change detachable batteries. My Dyson is always ready and charged whenever I need it. It is neatly tucked away, taking up little room. I appreciate the fact that the Dyson is lightweight and easily maneuvered. It is light enough that when the head is removed and used separately, makes cleaning our carpeted stairs easier than ever. In summary, I love my Dyson, and would recommend that the extra cost is well worth it. You will save yourself the frustration of purchasing multiple machines which are not effective. and which will end up costing more in the long-run. My only regret is that by thinking of the cost I was actually denying myself the 'pleasure' of a cleaner home. I don't worry about how much our beautiful dog sheds, and can enjoy her playful personality." —Rosey PoseyPrice: $299.99 (originally $469.99, sometimes $349.99 at Amazon and currently $469.99 at Dyson) and shop all the Dyson deals here. The Dyson V15 Detect with the built-in LED light to show every speck of dust is also on sale — it's $180 off, down to $569.99!

You just might want to replace allllll the sheets in your house (your room! the kids room! the guest room!) after your first night of sleep.
Promising reviews: "I can't say enough good things about these sheets. I was waking up at night HOT all the time and thinking it was a physical thing for me personally. I was reading online and stumbled on these and thought 'Hmmm...wonder if my uber-expensive sheets are actually making me hot at night??' I ordered these and I'm sleeping like a baby now. No more night sweats. Ordering some for my son as well. Game changer! High quality and exceptional price." —J. Marshall"I read from other reviews these sheets were soft so I wasn't too surprised when I received them and man are they soft and so comfortable. We have Egyptian cotton sheets that were expensive and I promise we have changed them back out for the comfort of these sheets. The cotton sheets were cold and these were just right. The other thing is my husband has thin skin that any nick he will bleed. Well he has bled on these white sheets and when we washed them (in cold water as instructed) the blood always comes out and never stains. I can't say enough great things about them except to say all three of my adult kids are receiving a set as part of their Christmas!" —Sheree ChrestmanPrice: $30.57 (typically $39.20; available in sizes twin–California king, plus sheet sets with deep pockets for taller mattresses and 45 colors and patterns)

Up to 39% off an Instant Pot Vortex Plus air fryer for anyone who's allergic to cooking but wants to eat something other than takeout and microwave meals. And given all its features — not only is it an air fryer, but it can also broil, roast, dehydrate, bake, and reheat — even self-proclaimed cooking enjoyers may find themselves using this gadget instead of their oven!
Promising review: "I do all the cooking in our house, and I was debating about purchasing an air fryer. I had heard good things about them, but I just did not see myself using an air fryer all that much. I figured it was just another high-priced kitchen gadget that would end up gathering dust. I did a lot of research and watched a YouTube video from America's Test Kitchen where this air fryer came in number one. I decided to purchase this air fryer. I can tell you after a couple of months that I use this product at a minimum of 4 or 5 times a week! I have made pork chops, steaks, and chicken breasts, and it is great for reheating items. But the winner is two things. It makes the very best bacon with little mess, and it makes chicken wings perfectly. I purchased some Buffalo Wild Wings sauces, and my family has buffalo wing night every couple of weeks for one-fourth the cost of going out. It is also very easy to clean and almost no mess at all. If you are considering buying an air fryer, take the leap and get this one. Want to know if Trump's economy is actually doing as well as he promised? Subscribe to the Economy Hate Watch newsletter and never miss our monthly update. Hi there, my name is Alexa, and for each month of Donald Trump's presidency, I'm tracking the real numbers achieved by his administration on BuzzFeed. (AKA the unemployment rate, cost of eggs, gas prices, inflation, the Dow Jones, whether citizens received a stimulus check, and Trump's overall approval rating.) Shockingly, it's not hyperbolic to say that last month, our biggest concern about Trump's impact on the economy centered around his meddling in a literal WAR after announcing US airstrikes on Iran. Related: Now we're faced with the repercussions of his One Big, Beautiful Bill — nicknamed the "Worst Bill in Modern American History" — being signed into law. Tasos Katopodis / Getty Images Among its many spooky factors, the bill is expected to add $3.4 TRILLION to the national debt. (Which the government would LOVE if you Venmo-ed them for. Ya know, like we're splitting a happy hour bill.) Twitter: @jackcorrbit So, with all this in mind, here's how the 79-year-old's June 2025 played out: Note: Data on inflation is released a few weeks after each month has ended, so our reports will look at the previous month's numbers. Unemployment has been teeter-tottering around 4–4.2% ever since Trump took office, and June is no different. This time, we're back at 4.1% according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Egg prices used to be the topic of dinner conversation, but now that the avian flu outbreak has become largely contained, supply is slowly coming back, and normal pricing comes with it. Related: However, when one barn door shuts, another barn door opens. Behind lucky door number two? Beef. In fact, the price per pound of beef has jumped about 12% since this time last year. And what's causing the jump? Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a virus. For the last 10 years, CNN reports that farmers have struggled with shrinking herd sizes, droughts throughout farming land in the US, lack of profitability, and an increase in imported beef prices. Now, everything seems to be catching up to us. Every time I report on gas prices, we get a flurry of comments from people saying they wish their receipts reflected the national average here. So I'm hesitant to inform that June's average was $3.276 per gallon. (Sorry, city dwellers. I know your gas station visits aren't nearly as that we're calling $3.276 low.) Related: In April, Trump claimed there was "virtually no inflation" in the US, and that remains just as false today as it did then. We do indeed have an inflation rate, and it's sitting at 2.7%, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics — nearly as high as Biden's closing rate of 2.9%. The stock market being up is probably one of my favorite parts about this month's report. Why? Because of the irony. You see, it's amazing that our retirement accounts aren't screaming in as much pain as they were a few months ago when Trump first announced tariffs, and Wikipedia subsequently created a 2025 Stock Market Crash page. Which may make you consider: Hmmmmm, if pauses on tariffs are meant to end soon on Aug. 1, then why isn't the stock market reacting in the same way? One answer from economists? Because of Trump's new nickname: TACO (aka, Trump Always Chickens Out). Meaning, Trump's trade deals and tariff pauses have been an on-again-off-again affair that the market may have a hard time taking seriously now that it's meant to be on-again. The attitude seems to be, Why worry until we have to? That's good for citizens, at least, who saw a second month of gains. Nope, nope, nope. Not a benefit in sight. Everyone, let's slow clap together. Trump just reached a new milestone: The lowest approval rating of his second term so far. In June, Gallup reports the president had an approval rating of 40%. Breathtaking. Those are our stats for June. Now, let's look at comments we received on our last edition in a little section I like to call ✨Comment Corner✨. Related: Comment Corner #1: First, thank you! Second, I love this idea! Let's start our baseline before the One Big, Beautiful Bill was signed, which put individual Americans at about $7,000 per year on average for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act. (This number can change due to many factors, including age, tier plans, whether you're a smoker, etc.) And it's very possible this number may change in the future, as the OBBB makes healthcare coverage harder to secure. Comment Corner #2: Speaking of the OBBB, this commenter shared their opinion that, "Unemployment numbers are going to go up soon" in their industry due to "mass layoffs because of the OBBB." Unemployment will be an interesting figure to watch across multiple industries because of the bill. One I'm keeping a particular eye on is the healthcare industry amid Trump's major reductions in federal support to Medicaid. Not only will these reductions lead to about 12 million more people being without health insurance by 2034, but rural hospitals, doctors, nurses, and staff who rely on Medicaid taxes to stay in operation will also suffer. Our Top Recommendations Best Twin Mattress On Amazon Overall: Lucid 10-Inch Memory Foam Mattress Best Twin Hybrid Mattress On Amazon: Leesa Sapira Hybrid Mattress Best Twin Memory Foam Mattress On Amazon: Nectar Classic Mattress Best Medium-Firm Twin Mattress On Amazon: Casper Sleep Element Type: Memory foam | Firmness: Plush, medium or firm | Trial: 30 nights | Warranty: 10 years Best for: A variety of sleeping positions (side, back and stomach) Body types under 250 pounds Those who like to be nestled by their mattress Skip if: You weigh over 250 pounds or you want a more supportive choice Lucid is one of the most popular mattress brands on Amazon. Rather than a flashy or feature-rich design, this all-foam Lucid Mattress caters to those who simply want a comfortable mattress that they, their kids or guests can sleep on. It has a three-layer construction with gel-infused memory foam as its primary comfort material, which helps draw away body heat and molds to the shape of your curves. Choose between three firmness levels–plush, medium or firm–and different height profiles as low as 5 inches or as tall as 14 inches. We recommend a medium or firm model unless you're looking to purchase a bed for a lightweight side sleeper under 150 pounds. Type: Hybrid | Firmness: Medium | Trial: 100 nights | Warranty: 10 years Best for: Hot sleepers who want cooling options Most sleeping positions and body types Those in the market for a premium twin bed Those who want good edge support Skip if: You prefer the hugged feel of memory foam You're looking for a very soft or very firm feel When you buy a hybrid mattress , you get the benefit of supportive coils that are reminiscent of a traditional innerspring mattress with the added bonus of squishy, contouring foam. The Leesa Sapira Hybrid Mattress is from a trusted, major online mattress brand. It has upgraded features like edge support reinforcements, which keep you feeling more sturdy when you sleep near the bed's sides, and a cooling cover which can be purchased for around $100 extra on a twin-size mattress. The standard Sapira model is offered in a medium firmness which is best for back, side and combination sleepers, while the cooling model (Sapira Chill) also comes in soft or firm. Type: Memory foam | Firmness: Medium-firm | Trial: 365 nights | Warranty: Lifetime Best for: Those who want a long testing period and generous warranty Back, stomach and combination sleepers Those who want a contouring, hugging feel Skip if: You're a side sleeper You are a heavier sleeper who wants a hybrid bed Memory foam mattresses are popular for their nestling, molding feel that morphs under the shape of your body after you lie down. The Nectar Classic is the brand's flagship mattress, and has a high-end memory foam feel similar to premium competitors, but at a great value at only $350 for a twin-size mattress. 'This Nectar mattress simultaneously feels dense but cushiony—an ideal amount of sinkage that's not too much and not too little,' says a team member who tested the mattress firsthand. To keep it from sleeping too hot, the cover is woven with cooling fibers that absorb your body heat and evenly distribute it throughout the bed. Its medium-firm profile is ideal for back, stomach and combination sleepers or guests in a spare bedroom, but may be too firm for a child who sleeps on their side. See more in our full Nectar Mattress review . The Casper Element, an Amazon exclusive mattress, is 10 inches thick stacked with two layers, including responsive memory foam that doesn't make you feel like you're sinking. According to the brand, the memory foam has an open-cell design that helps promote better airflow for hot sleepers , and it has a soft knit cover made from recycled materials. Type: Memory foam | Firmness: Medium-soft | Trial: 100 days | Warranty: 10 years Best for: People who favor their side Those who live with joint pain Children or sleepers under 250 pounds Skip if: You're a dedicated stomach or back sleeper You're a heavyweight sleeper over 250 pounds Some sleepers, like lightweight individuals and those who prefer resting on their side, need a plush and soft mattress with extra cushioning that properly gives under the weight of your hips and shoulders. We regularly revisit our content to ensure our recommendations are accurate and relevant. This article was first published in July 2025. To select the best twin mattresses on Amazon, we relied on our own vast expertise as sleep editors who have tested many of these brands firsthand. We explored the mattress brands available on Amazon that our team has personal experience with and can confidently speak on their quality. We considered mattresses with foam and hybrid constructions that appeal to a variety of different sleepers and needs, in addition to firmness, edge support, feel and price. We pored through hundreds of reviews on Amazon to determine the best twin mattresses on Amazon that are vetted by verified customers, and only chose mattresses that have a 4-star rating or higher. Most modern mattresses either have an all-foam or hybrid construction and each has their own benefits. All-foam mattresses are best at isolating motion and cushioning your joints (with the exception of very firm mattresses), but they aren't as supportive for larger body types. Hybrid mattresses that are made with coils and foam tend to last longer and provide better durability, support and ease of movement. That said, they tend to be more expensive than all-foam beds. Firmness Mattresses range from soft to firm and everything in between. Medium-firm is a popular firmness level because it offers a balance of firmness and support, but it may not be suitable for those who need more pressure relief (like individuals under 250 pounds and dedicated side sleepers). Soft mattresses offer the best pressure relief for side sleepers, while firm beds tend to offer better spinal support if you sleep prone or supine. In general, the right firmness for you depends on your primary sleeping position. Sleeping Position Use your predominant sleeping position as a guide to find the most accommodating firmness profile. Side sleepers typically feel most comfortable on medium to soft mattresses that have enough give to nestle your hip and shoulder joints. Back sleepers usually require a medium to firm mattress that keeps the spine lifted and promotes proper alignment. Stomach sleepers need a medium-firm to firm mattress that doesn't let the spine sink into your mattress. Combination sleepers can opt for a medium to medium-firm mattress that walks the line between soft and firm for the benefits of both profiles. Body Type Typically, the more you weigh, the softer a mattress is going to feel. And the opposite is true—the less you weigh, the firmer a bed seems. Keep this rule in mind while you're shopping for the most appropriate firmness profile. We also think hybrid mattresses made with coils are best for sleepers over 250 pounds in the long term. However, if you plan to keep your twin bed in a guest room, an all-foam mattress does the trick. Do People Buy Mattresses On Amazon? Yes. There are hundreds of mattresses on Amazon to choose from, including top-rated brands that are popular online or in big box stores. How Much Should I Pay For A Good Twin Mattress? A good twin mattress is around $300 on the low end and up to $1,200 on the high end. Remember that price alone isn't the best indication of a mattress's suitability, so it can be helpful to read through reviews for an idea of what existing customers think. What Are The Three Top-Rated Mattresses On Amazon? The Vibe, Lucid and Nectar Mattresses are all highly rated on Amazon with thousands of positive customer reviews.
