Renowned producer and distributor Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments has acquired the Telugu distribution rights of the film for a reported Rs 80 crore, suggests reports. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is a highly anticipated addition to the YRF Spy Universe and serves as a sequel to the 2019 blockbuster War. The film is slated to hit cinemas on August 14, 2025. It marks the first on-screen collaboration between Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan. Confirming the acquisition, Naga Vamsi expressed excitement about reuniting with Jr NTR following their previous collaborations in Devara and Aravinda Sametha.
