CGD agents breaks silence on ‘romance' with Olivia Hawkins and Louis Russell after stars spotted kissing on away trip

THE CELEBS Go Dating agents have broken their silence on Olivia Hawkins and Louis Russell breaking the reality show's rules. Love Island star Olivia, 30, and Too Hot To Handle's Louis, 24, hit it off after landing in Ibiza to film the E4 show and were spotted snogging poolside. 5 Celebs Go Dating's Olivia Hawkins and Louis Russell broke show rules Credit: ©Nic Serpell-Rand 2024 5 Olivia and Louis naturally gravitated towards each other after the first mixer Credit: ©Nic Serpell-Rand 2024 5 Paul C. Brunson admitted Olivia's biggest dating dilemma was her 'self worth' Credit: Nic Serpell-Rand / Channel 4 In an exclusive interview, love gurus Anna Williamson, Paul C. Brunson and Dr Tara revealed what really happened between Olivia and Louis when The Sun visited the Celebs Go Dating agency ahead of the new series. Anna said: "I mean celebrity on celebrity, every series there's always a few cross eyes, aren't there?" As it stands, it is very much a dot dot dot." The agents admitted Olivia and Louis naturally gravitated towards each other after the first mixer. "Every time we're in a big mixer, it's always interesting to see how the celebrities start to bond and it's always interesting that this is a show which is very exposing - they come in and they're full of nerves naturally and what happens when that happens? You tend to gravitate to people that are in your proximity, so it's not unusual of course, I think celebs like to stick together," Anna revealed. "Sometimes we see looks here and there, but whether they turn into anything... is really time will tell." In the past, hook-ups between co-stars were frowned upon, but now the experts embrace it if there's a chance it can lead to a genuine connection. Anna continued: "This is real life as well, it's something we don't necessarily advocate but then again it's real life and the celebrities know that if there's a genuine attraction - if it's just a safety, we'll notice it and call it out. "But we'll always observe from the sidelines and if anything feels like it needs jumping in on, then we will." While Paul agreed and said there is a deeper psychology behind why celebrities form romantic connections on the show. Paul shared: "I think an important note on this, is that we typically do what we feel is safe and low risk but it's not always the best thing for us. Inside the Celebs Go Dating house with Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara ahead of the new series "You'll see that celebrities have this repetition of doing what is safe and that is ending up matching or thinking they are going to match together, because it is very safe, of course you're going to see it. "They're two very compelling people individually. Sex and relationship expert Dr Tara insisted the point of the show is to encourage the celebrities to step outside their comfort zone. She said: "It's Celebrity Dating Agency, not Celebrity Dating each other agency, so we always try to encourage them to explore and expand and learn new things and learn about new people and not just stay within a comfort zone, we give them a big push to try new things." Olivia, who appeared on Love Island in 2023, before returning for the All Stars series in 2025, was unlucky-in-love both times. The brunette beauty said fellas never ask her out after she was first painted as a troublemaker in the villa. In fact, the beauty, who has been an actress and a ring girl, claims she has never had a proper 'boyfriend', in a recent interview with The Sun. Paul admitted the Liv's biggest dating dilemma was her "self worth". He said they welcomed every celebrity to the agency with a "clean slate", despite public perceptions. Paul said: "I think there's an assumption that we identify with the publics perception of the celebrity. "I think it's an important point to note, that typically we're unaware of that public perception and we try to give everyone a clean slate, whether we're familiar with them or not. "The idea is that you come in and you start fresh with us. That allows us to prejudge or place inappropriate values in certain areas. "Liv is that exact person, she came in clean slate." Olivia and Louis had swapped flirty messages on social media ahead of the trip and later were seen kissing by a pool, with an insider said the sexual chemistry was very obvious. LOUIS NEW GIRL Despite hopes of a romance between Louis and Olivia, just days ago he stepped out with his famous new girlfriend. Louis posed on the red carpet holding hands with Love Island US star Huda Mustafa as they attended a film premiere in Los Angeles. Only a few days ago, the pair were spotted in London together just days after the Love Island US star left the villa. Huda made waves during this years Love Island USA when she revealed to the cast she was a mum and became one of the shows most followed islanders. The new series kicks off on August 11th at 9pm and it will include TV personality Kerry Katona, Love Island's Olivia Hawkins, comedian and CBB star Donna Preston, and Too Hot To Handle's Louis Russell giving it their best shot at the dating agency. And things between Louis and Olivia quickly get steamy. A show insider revealed: 'It usually takes a few weeks for things to spice up but not with these two. 'Within 48 hours of arriving in Ibiza the sexual spark between them was obvious. "They clearly couldn't resist each other.' Celebs Go Dating agents reveal the ‘real reason' Christine McGuiness quit the E4 show and admit it was a ‘brave' move

THE CELEBS Go Dating agents have revealed the "real reason" Christine McGuinness quit the E4 show just weeks into the process. The model - who was married to comedian Paddy McGuinness, 51, until their split in 2022 - signed up alongside six other famous faces in the bid to find love and get help on their dating life. 5 The Celebs Go Dating agents revealed the 'real reason' for Christine McGuinness' exit Credit: Channel 4 5 The model quit the E4 show after a short stint Credit: Instagram/mrscmcguinness 5 Anna Williamson said Christine's decision to join the show took 'bravery' Credit: Instagram But early into the process, Christine, 37, announced that she had quit after becoming "overwhelmed" with the attention on her love life and missing her family. In an exclusive interview, love gurus Anna Williamson, Paul C. Brunson and Dr Tara opened up Christine's sudden exit when The Sun visited the Celebs Go Dating agency ahead of the new series. Anna admitted Christine's decision to join the show after her public split was a "brave" move, and it equally took courage for her exit the process after discovering it "wasn't the right time" for her. Anna explained: "It wasn't the right time for Christine to continue her journey in the agency. "I think this is the absolute beauty of what the Celebrity Dating agency does - yes it's a TV show, but it's also real. "What myself, Paul, Dr Tara do, we are not scripted, our skill sets are something we very much practice on the outside as well as within the agency construct. "And for Christine it was very brave that she wanted to dip her toe back into the world of dating and throughout the process of us getting to know her, she realised that perhaps this actually wasn't quite the right time for her to be doing that and took a great deal of confidence and bravery inside to recognise and actually now is not the right time." Anna said that viewers will get to see a different side to Christine and revealed the mum-of-three did in fact go on dates during her short stint on the show. "Christine is a fascinating woman and I think viewers are going to really empathise with everything she brings to us and the show and the Dating Agency," Anna continued. "And Christine for the short amount of time she was with us, she wanted to date and date she did." Inside the Celebs Go Dating house with Anna Williamson and Dr. Tara ahead of the new series CGD EXIT The Sun revealed that Christine decided to quit the show in a surprise move. In a statement, Christine said: 'I joined Celebs Go Dating with great intentions but have realised that dating on a public platform and the attention that brings is just too soon for me. 'They've said the door is always open for me, which I'm so grateful for, but for now I'm returning home to my family.' Christine had spent a few days in Ibiza filming for the show with stars including Kerry Katona and Olivia Hawkins. Pals told The Sun she was looking forward to moving on and potentially finding love again. At the time, a source said: 'Christine has been through so much but she's ready to move on. 'When she signed up to Celebs Go Dating the production team were told she was open to dating women as well as men. 'Taking part in a TV show about finding love is all new for Christine but she's just having fun and is enjoying herself.' However those close to Christine said since she flew to Ibiza, she had struggled with putting her private life on camera. A friend added: 'Christine has decided that some things are important for her to keep private. 'She thought signing up to Celebs Go Dating was a good idea at first but now she feels overwhelmed by the attention. 'Christine has stepped away from the show and they have been really supportive of her and her decision. 'Her wellbeing was their main priority and Christine is looking forward to getting home to be with her family.' Christine and her ex, comedian Paddy McGuiness announced they had separated in 2022 after 15 years together. The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 33. Two years later, he popped the question and they married in 2011 at Merseyside's Thornton Manor Estate. The TV personality delighted her former co-stars when she made a surprise return to the series' finale in June. A insider told The Sun: "Christine's return was kept top secret from everyone, so they were all so excited to see her come back. "The cast were really sad when she quit the show, even though they totally supported and understood her reasons, so it was great to see her come back. "She started the journey with them all, so it was the perfect end that she got to finish the series with them too. "Christine may not have found love on the show, but she seemed really happy and in a great place. "Leaving the show was the right decision for her but she loved being back in the mix without the pressure of having to actually date on camera." BBC launches investigation into Strictly stars' 'cocaine use'

The BBC has launched an investigation into alleged cocaine use by two of the stars of Strictly Come Dancing. Reports in The Sun allege their drug use was discussed on the BBC dancing show and said that the corporation had appointed law firm Pinsent Masons to lead the investigation. According to reports, the allegations were made in a legal submission by law firm Russells in March on behalf of former contestant Wynne Evans, who was dropped by the BBC after apologising for using "inappropriate language" during the launch of the Strictly tour. Others have also reported drug use on the show, according to The Sun. A BBC spokesperson said: "We have clear protocols and policies in place for dealing with any serious complaint raised with us. "We would always encourage people to speak to us if they have concerns. It would not be appropriate for us to comment further." it is understood that the BBC often appoints external law firms to help it lead investigations, while reporting back to an internal team. The cast members involved in the investigation were not named by The Sun. It comes after the BBC launched a review into Strictly in 2024 that looked into allegations of bullying and harassment against former professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, made by his former dance partner Amanda Abbington. The corporation upheld some, but not all, of the complaints made - and introduced a series of new measures aimed at improving welfare. This included the introduction of a chaperone who is present "at all times" during training room rehearsals. EastEnders star James Borthwick was also suspended from the BBC after a video emerged of the actor using a slur on the set of the dance programme.
