Lisa faces lip-sync claims at Oscars, fans suspect LVMH influence
Social media erupted with debates, with some critics accusing Lisa of lip-syncing. Tweets and circulated, suggesting her microphone was inactive at times, fueling speculation.
This is how she sounds live, she is not a singer and she did lipsync again so as not to be embarrassed like that time. Lisa has to stop pretending to be a singer, it's worse because she is more and more exposed

Well her boyfriend Fredrick Arnaul (the ceo of LVMH) was one of the main sponsors of the oscars so we there you go that's why the rich white man's girlfriend was on stage lip syncing — nika (@itsallbora) March 3, 2025
yeah lisa's billionaire boyfriend paid for this performance cause what is the point.. — sine (@sinelggl) March 3, 2025
However, Lisa's fans were quick to defend her, sharing audience-recorded clips that appeared to confirm she was performing live. Many noted that award show performances are often pre-recorded or enhanced for broadcast, which may have led to confusion about her vocals.
are they admitting that lisa is such a global star that even the Oscars had to reconsider their principles of no-lipsync policy just for her?
she sounded too good that they had to accuse her of lipsyncing to cope with it. — aries🍋ᴷᴵᴷᴵ (@ilisayou_m) March 3, 2025

I know your community always manipulated y'all to believe Lisa is lip sync. She's always Mic on, many fancam proved it. This time if you still saying she's lip sync, I think you need medical check. Or please continue appointment with your psychiatrist. https://t.co/NZz0NXp1hw — I🎀 (@BeCozOfKhun) March 3, 2025
Beyond the lip-sync debate, Lisa's Oscars appearance faced additional scrutiny. Some critics questioned why she was invited to perform when nominees for Best Original Song were not. Others speculated that her inclusion was linked to her boyfriend, Frédéric Arnault, the CEO of LVMH Watches, whose company sponsors the Academy Awards. Lisa, who has partnerships with luxury brands under LVMH, has not commented on the claims.
Despite the controversy, Lisa's Oscars performance marked a milestone for K-pop's global influence, and she received widespread praise for her stage presence. The discussion continues to divide opinions online, with supporters celebrating her achievement and detractors questioning her role at the prestigious event.

Will Little Mix reunite or not? Leigh-Anne teases an ‘iconic' twist
Leigh-Anne Pinnock isn't shutting down a Little Mix reunion, but she's making it clear it won't happen just yet. The 33-year-old singer, who is currently focused on her solo career, says a return of the beloved girl group should feel 'impactful,' not rushed. Appearing on The Hits Radio Breakfast Show, Leigh-Anne shared her thoughts about a possible comeback with fellow bandmates Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards. 'We cannot do this for a little while because otherwise it wouldn't be as impactful,' she said. 'Let's enjoy solo, man. But I do feel that people miss Little Mix.' Still, she isn't ruling out creative ways to reunite. 'We could still do our solo stuff, do a little Blackpink. That would be kind of iconic. Or do a show where we all perform our solo stuff, that would be sick.' Leigh-Anne, who shares three-year-old twin daughters with her husband Andre Gray, also opened up about the parenting side of her life. With her kids set to start school soon, she revealed she's already in the parents' WhatsApp group. 'It's already popping off and I'm getting overwhelmed,' she admitted, 'but I want to be quite involved.' Reflecting on the group's hiatus after the Confetti tour, she revealed they had even considered continuing as Little Mix. 'That last tour was so beautiful that there were times when we asked if we should just carry on,' she said. But ultimately, solo pursuits won. Despite initial nerves about going solo, Leigh-Anne now feels confident. 'I believe in my talent. I just love to sing. I'm excited to see where it's going to take me next.'

Alan Bergman dies at 99 after legendary songwriting career with Marilyn Bergman
Alan Bergman, the Oscar-winning lyricist known for his decades-long partnership with his wife Marilyn Bergman, died Thursday night at the age of 99. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he passed away from natural causes at his Los Angeles home, as confirmed by his daughter, producer Julie Bergman Sender. Together, Alan and Marilyn Bergman formed one of the most successful songwriting teams in film history. Their lyrical collaborations spanned more than 50 years and included timeless classics such as 'The Way We Were,' 'The Windmills of Your Mind,' and 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers.' Marilyn Bergman died in January 2022 at the age of 93. The Bergmans were frequent collaborators with Barbra Streisand, composer Michel Legrand, and Marvin Hamlisch. They earned three Academy Awards: for 'The Way We Were' (1973), 'The Windmills of Your Mind' (1968), and the score for Yentl (1983). They were also nominated 16 times across their careers, earning recognition for songs featured in The Thomas Crown Affair, Same Time, Next Year, The Happy Ending, and Sometimes a Great Notion, among others. Their influence extended to television as well, writing theme songs for shows such as Maude, Good Times, Alice, and Brooklyn Bridge. The duo also received three Emmy Awards and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1980. Alan was born in Brooklyn on September 11, 1925, and served in World War II before pursuing music and theater at the University of North Carolina and later UCLA. Early in his career, he worked as a TV director at CBS in Philadelphia, where he met legendary songwriter Johnny Mercer, who encouraged him to write lyrics. Alan and Marilyn met in 1956, marrying two years later. Their first collaborations included work with Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, and Frank Sinatra. In addition to his daughter Julie, Alan Bergman is survived by his granddaughter, Emily.
