Netflix You star Anna Camp's life from famous ex-husbands, The Office cameo and talks of Pitch Perfect 4
Anna Camp has piqued the interest of You fans as she makes her first appearance in the psychological thriller's fifth and final season on
Netflix
.
You season five premiered on the streaming platform on Thursday, April 24, bringing the drama back to its original setting in New York where viewers reconnect with Joe Goldberg (portrayed by Penn Badgley).
Three years have elapsed since his London escapades, and he's now wedded to the CEO of Lockwood Corporation, Kate Lockwood (Charlotte Ritchie), who begins facing her own set of problems courtesy of her half-sister Raegan Lockwood (Anna Camp).
Raegan is hell-bent on usurping Kate's position at any cost, while her twin sister Maddie (also played by Anna Camp) is a socialite tired of living in Raegan's shadow.
With You season five now available for viewing on Netflix, fans are keen to learn more about actress Anna Camp, the talent behind the characters of Raegan and Maddie Lockwood.
Early life
Camp hails from Aiken, South Carolina, where she grew up with her mother Dee, a Democratic Party volunteer, her father Thomas, a bank executive, and her older sister Saluda.
Her acting journey reportedly began in school when she was cast in a Drug Abuse Resistance Education video.

She later attended the University of North Carolina School of the Arts before relocating to New York to kickstart her career.
The Office
One of the actress's first gigs was in the legendary series The Office, which starred big names like Steve Carrell, John Krasinski, and Mindy Kaling.
She joined the cast during its sixth season in 2009, portraying Penny Beesly, Pam Beesly's (played by Jenna Fischer) sister, in the episodes "Niagara Part One and Two" where Pam and Jim (John Krasinski) tie the knot.
In her role as maid of honour, Penny mistakenly identifies Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) as Gil (Tom W Chick), Oscar's (Oscar Nunez) partner, leading to an awkward situation that she later apologizes for.
True Blood
After finishing school, Camp snagged an audition for HBO's hit show True Blood, initially trying out for the main character Sookie, ultimately played by Anna Paquin.
Camp recounted to Collider her experience: "I was straight out of college with like no credits.
"And then in the hallway [during the audition process], Anna Paquin and I pass each other and I was like, 'Oh! Well she's gonna get it! She has an Oscar!'

"You know what I mean? Come on! But it was so nice to have that audition go well and then have Alan Ball offer me the part of Sarah Newlin for the second season so that was pretty cool that that worked out that way."
She became a part of True Blood's second season as the recurring villain Sarah Newlin, the ex-wife of Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian), and remained on the show until its seventh and final season.
Famous ex-husbands
The star of 'You' has been hitched to a couple of familiar faces, with her first marriage to actor Michael Mosley in 2010 lasting three years.
Mosley is noted for his roles as Drew Suffin on 'Scrubs,' Everett Lynch on 'Criminal Minds,' and Pastor Mason Young on Netflix's hit show 'Ozark.'

Fast-forward three years, she tied the knot with Skylar Astin, who played opposite Anna Kendrick in 'Pitch Perfect,' sparking an on-screen romance as her ex in 'Pitch Perfect.'
Their union also lasted three years until Camp lodged divorce papers, citing "irreconcilable differences".
Pitch Perfect
Regarding 'Pitch Perfect 4,' Camp is renowned for her role as Aubrey, the one-time captain of the Acapella group the Barden Bellas, in the beloved 'Pitch Perfect' series.
It's been a whole eight years since we saw the Barden Bellas last unite on screen, and Camp isn't certain about a fourth installment, despite having some ideas for it.
She spilled to Screen Rant: "I don't think [Pitch Perfect 4] is in development unfortunately, but if we did get a four, I mean at the end of three, I was a doula.

"I was wanting to become a doula. I don't know if anybody remembered that.
"So I would like to see what Aubrey, if she's really delivering children into the world and singing Acapella to them as they come out of their mother's bodies, you can print that.
"And I hope that the writers see it and that we make it. And that is all I have to say on that."
Pitch Perfect enthusiasts might have a reason to stay tuned as Fat Amy's very own Rebel Wilson hinted at her show, An Evening With Rebel Wilson, in April 2024: "I would love Pitch Perfect [4] to be made. I believe they have a script in development."
Although it's not set in stone, Wilson's comments suggest that a new installment could potentially be on the horizon.
You is available to watch on Netflix.
