The Tigers (15-35, 2-24) captured their first conference win and series victory of the year.
Now, A&M has one game to try to salvage any positivity from the weekend.
More: Texas A&M vs Missouri baseball prediction: TV channel, game info for SEC series
The Aggies' postseason aspirations have taken a massive hit with just four games left.
A&M enters Sunday three games short of the 13-win magic number, while according to Kendall Rogers of D1 Baseball, the Aggies' RPI has dropped to 50, 20 shy of the 30th spot threshold historically needed.
A win on Sunday keeps the Aggies on pace to hit 13 wins.

However, a third-straight loss almost assuredly requires them to sweep the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens, Ga., next weekend to even be in the conversation of an at-large bid, barring a run to an SEC Tournament title.

Shemar Stewart not working out with Texas A&M team, despite rumors
Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Shemar Stewart is getting ready for the NFL season much like any other professional football player at this time. Confusion and even some anger among several fans on social media took place on Tuesday when a rumor took on life of its own regarding Stewart. A report from 247Sports' Bud Elliott sparked a heated debate over Stewart's contract situation with the Bengals. Elliott reported Stewart has been 'fully involved' in Texas A&M's workouts this summer and that he could end up returning to the Aggies next season. The Enquirer can confirm through a source close to Stewart that while the No. 17 overall pick is in fact working out at Texas A&M's facilities, he's not working out with the team. His workouts are individual and he's working out to prepare for the upcoming NFL season. Stewart lives in Texas when he's not in Cincinnati. It's common for rookies to return to their college during the offseason to train early on in their careers. The Bengals and Stewart remain at odds over a disagreement in the language of his contract pertaining to future guarantees. Stewart didn't participate in any of the Bengals' voluntary offseason program and remains unsigned with rookies reporting for training camp on Saturday. Denver Broncos rookie cornerback Jahdae Barron and Stewart are the only two first-round picks from this year's draft class to have not signed their rookie contract yet. This story was updated to add a video. This article originally appeared on Cincinnati Enquirer: Shemar Stewart not working out with Texas A&M team before NFL camp

Chiefs' Rashee Rice to be full participant in training camp despite jail sentence
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will be a full participant at training camp, coach Andy Reid said, after Rice was sentenced to five years of deferred probation and 30 days in jail as a condition of his probation last week. 'We're going to progress as normal with (Rice),' Reid said Sunday after the Chiefs arrived at Missouri Western State University's campus for training camp. 'He'll go in and take all the reps that he'll normally take. We always rotate that position, so depending on what happens here with the future, whoever needs to play will step in and know what they are doing and be in good shape to do it.' Advertisement Reid said he did not know when the NFL would decide on a potential suspension for Rice. On Thursday, Rice pleaded guilty in a Dallas County court to two third-degree felony charges, including a collision involving serious bodily injury and racing on a highway causing bodily injury. The charges stemmed from Rice's role in a 2024 multi-vehicle car crash in which he crashed his Lamborghini, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles. As part of a plea agreement with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office, Rice will be required to pay restitution to all the victims for their out-of-pocket medical expenses before the plea, totaling $115,481.91. 'We have been closely monitoring all developments in the matter, which remains under review,' the NFL said in a statement after Rice appeared in court. League sources confirmed to The Athletic on Thursday that Rice is likely facing a multi-game suspension. Rice apologized to the victims in a statement released by his lawyer Royce West, and said, 'There have been a lot of sleepless nights thinking about the damages that my actions caused, and I will continue working within my means to make sure that everyone impacted will be made whole.' In a preliminary investigation into the crash, police determined that Rice was racing his former SMU teammate Theodore Knox at high speeds when Rice struck a median wall. Rice and Knox ran from the scene, while two other drivers involved in the crash were treated for minor injuries, and two occupants of another vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. An arrest warrant was issued for Rice after the crash, and he turned himself in to police one day later. In addition to civil lawsuits filed by the other drivers involved, Rice was facing criminal charges of aggravated assault, collision involving serious bodily injury and six counts of collision involving injury. Advertisement Rice was not placed on the commissioner's exempt list after the crash, and Jeff Miller, NFL executive vice president of communications, public affairs and policy, said the league would await the outcome of the case proceedings. After playing in 16 games of his rookie season in 2023, Rice tore the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee in Week 4 last year, ending his season. The Chiefs selected him in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

2026 4-star LB commit seen working out with former Texas A&M WR commit
Texas A&M's future linebacker rotation will now include 2026 four-star Tank King, who committed to the Aggies over Notre Dame, Alabama, and Michigan on July 4, and is quickly becoming one of the more sought-after flip candidates before Early Signing Day on December 4. However, King's strong relationship with defensive coordinator Jay Bateman shouldn't result in any further movement. This summer, King has put in the work to refine his skill set, especially at a position that now requires more athleticism and quickness to cover tight ends, and even receivers at the next level. King has worked with former Texas A&M defensive back Donnie Baggs, showing off his change of direction, zone drops, and downhill/lateral movements in a recent video this month. At every level, football players need to lift weights and work with position coaches, such as Donnie Baggs, to be ready for the next level, which will only increase in physical demand, especially if younger players like King want to see the field early. This weekend, King reportedly worked out with former Texas A&M commit Drelon Miller, who is entering his second season with Colorado. A four-star wide receiver in the 2024 recruiting class, Miller committed to the Aggies in June of 2023 before decommitting in the fall and signing with Colorado that December. During his freshman season with Colorado, Miller reeled in 32 receptions for 277 yards and three touchdowns, which was less than many of us were expecting based on his elite skill set. While Miller has been a rumored flip candidate himself, there is no validity regarding any new connection with the Aggies as of late. Still, never say never in today's recruiting age, and his budding relationship with Tank King could be a turning point.
