Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty 'living separate lives' before shock split
Comedian Patrick Kielty and Cat Deeley have revealed their shocking separation after 13 years of marriage. It has now emerged that the pair appeared to be leading separate lives in the lead-up to their surprising split.
The TV stars disclosed on Tuesday, July 29, that they are no longer together in a bombshell statement. However, prior to the announcement, the pair hadn't been photographed together publicly for more than a year.
The final photograph of the couple together was captured in 2023, according to reports in the Mirror. They looked content in the picture as they attended the Ballywalter London premiere at The May Fair Hotel on September 18, 2023.
At the time, This Morning presenter Cat posted on her social media showing the pair beaming as they prepared for the event and then sat amongst the audience.
Patrick was subsequently invited onto the stage. Cat posted on her Instagram: "Magical evening last night at the London Premiere of @BallywalterFilm! . Celebrating the talents of @PatricKielty and @SeanaKerslake, director @PrasannaBanana, and the brilliant cast and crew! (+ @EdiBow... the hostess with the mostest! ) #BallywalterFilm is in cinemas very soon on 9/22 ! !"
A month later, Patrick made his last appearance on the This Morning presenter's Instagram page. Nearly two years on, the couple has called it quits after Patrick seemingly disappeared from Cat's social media posts.
This also follows Cat failing to post a Father's Day tribute to Patrick last month. The former couple share two children together. Prior to their announcement, the couple had relocated their family from Los Angeles to London in 2023.
This followed 15 years of living in the US. Now, in a joint statement issued to the PA news agency, they said: "We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
"We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment."
Whilst Cat became the presenter of ITV's morning programme, Patrick fronted RTE's The Late Late Show. She had previously spoken candidly about the difficulties they encountered when trying to balance parenthood with hosting the programme.
She admitted the "juggle" was "real". In March earlier this year, Cat was absent from Patrick's mum's funeral in Northern Ireland. Devastating images captured a heartbroken Patrick carrying her coffin through the streets.
Hundreds had gathered to line the roads as those dearest to Mary and her family came together for a service at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Dundrum.
At the time, a spokesperson informed the Mirror that Cat had stayed at home to look after their young sons Milo and James. They said: "Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day."
The pair first crossed paths while co-hosting Fame Academy in 2002, but it wasn't until nine years later in 2011 that they made their debut as a couple. They exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony in Rome in September 2012.
During a 2020 guest appearance on Ireland's The Late Late Show, then hosted by Ryan Tubridy, Cat revealed how Patrick had initially won her over: "We had been friends for a very, very long time. Since we did [TV show] Fame Academy and all that," she shared.
"We would always call each other on birthdays or Christmas, or we'd see each other occasionally or whatever it was. Anyway, there was a night where it was the day before my birthday. I can't even remember what birthday it was now! It was 30-something. Anyway, he called me and he spoke to me on the phone."
The mum-of-two continued: "He said, 'Oh, what are you doing for your birthday? I'm just ringing to say happy birthday.' I said, 'Oh, we're going to the Beverly Hills Hotel. We're just going to have a late brunch; it's going to be very civilised. It's a shame you're not here, otherwise you could come'. And he was like, 'Well, eh I'll be there'.
"Now, bear in mind at this point, Ryan, he was at the Maghera Inn down the end of the road, and in Ireland, I think it was approximately three o'clock in the morning, so I wasn't too sure! I was like, 'Yeah, yeah, sure you will. Sure you will, Charlie Big Bananas, sure you'll be there! I'll hold you a seat, how about that?
"Anyway, I didn't know this, but he basically stumbled home from the pub, set an alarm clock, booked a flight to go back to Heathrow I think the first flight out."

If her Instagram is anything to go by, the former Love Island star has the perfect work life balance. 10 10 She took to the photo-sharing platform as she gave her 2.4 million followers a sneak peek at what really goes on in her life. Olivia, 34, shared a number of behind-the-scenes snaps on the set of the flagship ITV Show. Her cover shot showed the star posing in her dressing room in a white vest top, skimpy black trousers as her hair was pulled up. Another video was taken by her entourage as she was on the set of This Morning with her co-star Dermot O'Leary. She danced in an orange top and high-waisted navy trousers as the cameras and production teams moved around her. A third video showed the star getting a make-up top up as a stylist fluttered around fixing her hair whilst she looked through her cue cards. The former reality star also posed in her glasses as the face of an exclusive VIP event for Boots opticians. However, she also relaxed away from the cameras as she attended the Oasis concert at Wembley Stadium with her husband Bradley Dack. He looked absolutely delighted as he wrapped his arms around her in an intimate selfie from their private hospitality box. Not stopping there, she was busy in the voiceover booth recording segments for forthcoming editions of Olivia Attwood's Bad Boyfriends. This Morning fans deliver verdict on Olivia Attwood as she makes her debut as new co-host with Dermot O'Leary After that, the star met a group of fans on the set of a special Love Island fashion event for eBay Live. She was dressed in a silk white wrap top with beige wide leg trousers as she was joined by Casey O'Gorman and Sophie Piper. Olivia captioned the album: "I get around." The star previously faced backlash when she made her debut on the flagship ITV daytime magazine programme. Olivia Attwood's Career History From Monster grid girl and Love Island star to daytime telly panellist and respected documentary maker, Olivia Attwood has made a huge career pivot in recent years... Olivia first started as a Monster grid girl at motorsport events in 2012 when she was 19-years-old, and did it right up until she went into Love Island in 2017. After placing third in the reality show with then-boyfriend Chris Hughes, she starred in their own spin-off series, Chris & Olivia: Crackin' On, in 2018. Later that year, she appeared on Celebs Go Dating and then joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in 2019, where she had a number of fiery on-screen rows. In 2020, the reality TV veteran began starring in her own reality series on ITVBe titled Olivia Meets Her Match, which followed her wedding preparations with footballer Bradley Dack. In 2021, the tide started to turn. Olivia made appearances on household shows Lorraine, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars and Loose Women. Then, in 2022, ITV commissioned her for her first ever documentary series. She presented Olivia Attwood: Getting Filthy Rich, which explored women selling sexual content online. In June 2023, ITV commissioned Olivia Marries Her Match and made her a regular guest panellist on Loose Women. Her most recent docu-series, Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection, aired in January this year where she sensitively explored the cosmetic industry. Her reality background didn't go down well with some of the more traditionalist viewers, who vowed to switch off. Olivia clapped back at the trolls who shared their dismay with her appointment in the role, as she insisted "there's much more to me." Her colleague Josie Gibson, 40, who is a regular presenter on This Morning, later defended Olivia, saying she's 'brilliant' in the role. She told The Sun: "Oh my God she's brilliant. It's brilliant she gets to do this and I think she's really good. Yeah, really good. Those who know me understand the hard work I've put in to get where I am today. Olivia AttwoodSpeaking to The Sun "Honestly, you get some backlash like that in this industry and I really don't know why people do it." The former Big Brother star added: "I'll never understand why people do it, you know. To me, I've always loved to see people do well and I genuinely love it. "I think Olivia is brilliant in the role." 10 10 10

Was so amazing!" Hr upload came just days after she stripped to similar leopard-print underwear to showcase her "strong and healthy" body. AWAY FROM THE CAMERA Yet away from her Instagram grid, The Sun exclusively told how the women's health advocate has been struck down by a trapped nerve in Iceland. It comes ahead of her Strictly Come Dancing stint. I'm A Celeb winner set to join Strictly after wowing bosses while supporting pal in audience last year Vicky — crowned Queen of the Jungle on ITV's I'm A Celeb in 2015 — is resting and trying to ensure she is fit enough for costume fitting and early filming this month. A pal revealed: 'Vicky wants to give Strictly her best shot and is taking it easy for the next few weeks so her trapped nerve doesn't rear its head when she is in the training room. 'She's really fit and healthy but she doesn't want a pre-existing injury to give her a handicap. 'It's her lifelong dream to be taking part — and she wants to make the most of it.' Vicky Pattison's Career History Geordie Shore (2011-2014): Vicky Pattison first gained public attention as a cast member of the MTV reality series. The show, which premiered in 2011, chronicles the lives of a group of young adults living together in Newcastle upon Tyne. Vicky quickly became one of the standout personalities on the show due to her outspoken nature. She remained a key cast member until her departure in 2014. Ex on the Beach (2014): In 2014, Vicky Pattison joined the first ever season of Ex on the Beach, an MTV reality series that brings together singles and their ex-partners for a dramatic beachside experience. She navigated complicated relationships and explosive confrontations, particularly with her ex-boyfriend, Ricci Guarnaccio, who also appeared on the series. Vicky's time on the show was marked by her outspoken nature and candid approach to resolving past romantic issues. I'm a Me Out of Here! (2015): In 2015, Vicky participated in the fifteenth series of I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, where she emerged as the winner. Her down-to-earth personality and resilience throughout the series won over both viewers and critics, significantly boosting her popularity. Celebrity MasterChef (2019): Vicky showcased a different side of her personality as she competed in the celebrity cooking competition. She made it to the final after demonstrating her culinary skills, and later joked that her family fell out with her because they "think I've been able to cook for years and have just hidden it". Loose Women (2015 - 2019): The celeb made appearances as a guest panelist on the show, but later criticised the production team for encouraging her to 'push' guests to open up on emotional topics when they were on the verge of tears. Vicky ended up in tears on the chat show herself in 2016, when she participated in an experiment about self image. The star could be seen breaking down as she listened back to a video where she listed all the negative comments she makes to herself in her mind. This Morning: Made several guest appearances. In one she spoke about being traumatised by her break up with fiancé John Noble, and in another Vicky delved into a personal documentary she made about alcoholism. Second-Hand Showdown: Vicky currently hosts the fashion show on Channel 4. BODY POSITIVE Vicky has been in the Nordic country to raise cash and awareness for CoppaFeel. Praising CoppaFeel, which raises awareness and money for breast cancer charities, she wrote: "I am proud of my little body and what it got me through last week… and I am even prouder of the women I trekked with that have survived breast cancer or are living with this awful disease. "THEIR bodies, achieved incredible things last week.. and they deserve to be celebrated. "It's time we shifted our perspective and focused on health, happiness AND feeling good.. rather than some unobtainable and toxic aesthetic," she noted. "Every lump, bump, scar, stretch mark and tiger stripe on our body tells a story.. whether that be of strength, resilience, experience or pure joy... "These things make us who we are and we shouldn't hide them away.. we should celebrate them." VICKY'S DISCOVERY Vicky's journey with her body comes after she revealed she had been diagnosed with PMDD after being "gaslit" for years by medical professionals into believing nothing was wrong with her. PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) left Vicky suffering from anxiety, depressive moods, rage, crippling cramps, and a feeling of hopelessness that, at points, left her with suicidal ideation. "I was told everything from, 'This is just PMS, everyone experiences it, other women can just handle it better' to, 'This is psychological — you need antidepressants.' 'I was told by one doctor, 'Maybe it'll be better if you lose weight.'' Her voice breaks when she reflects on the battle she still faces. Vicky says: 'Every month, you lose yourself — and as I've gotten older, it's gotten worse. "It used to last a few days, but now it's seven to ten days before my period. 'I'm anxious, I'm emotional, I'm exhausted, and I'm completely unrecognisable from the woman I am the rest of the time. 'The things that bring me joy don't bring me joy.' 'I broke down when she said I had PMDD,' Vicky said of her diagnosis after turning to private medical care three years ago. 'I'd had five years of being gaslit.' 7 Away from the camera, The Sun reported how Vicky was suffering from a trapped nerve Credit: Instagram 7 They pulled out all the stops for their plush stay Credit:

Rylan Clark brands mum a ‘walking disaster' as she suffers injury after hospital dash
Rylan Clark's Celebrity Gogglebox star mum Linda has admitted she's been suffering from a fresh injury, just weeks after being rushed to hospital with her son missing his BBC Radio 2 show to look after her Former X Factor star Rylan Clark has branded his mother Linda a "walking disaster" live on the radio, after she opened up about struggling with another health issue. Rylan, 36, was presenting his BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday when he started talking with his mum on the phone, who informed him that she had sustained an injury to her arms at home. She said: 'I hurt my arms, didn't I?" To which Rylan replied: "Yeah, I know you hurt your arm and it wound me up! Tell everyone how you hurt your arm." Linda explained: "Well, I was looking in the ottoman, and it's quite heavy, and the lid came down." Rylan added: "And you've cut all your arm." "Oh it did hurt", Linda replied, before admitting: "If it ain't one thing it's another, isn't it?'. In response, Rylan quipped: 'That's why you're like a walking disaster at the moment," to which his mum candidly agreed. This isn't the first time Rylan has provided fans with an update about his mum's health, after the duo became beloved by fans on Celebrity Gogglebox. Just weeks ago, Rylan announced that he would be absent from his BBC Radio 2 show because Linda had been rushed to hospital. At the time of the incident, Rylan told fans on Instagram: 'Mummy Linda isn't well sadly so I won't be hosting the show tomorrow. 'Thank you to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Will keep you updated as she's on the mend. She's a trooper.' Rylan was later able to confirm that Linda, 73, who suffers from Crohn's disease, was permitted to return home in time for her birthday on July 20. However, it isn't just his mother's health that Rylan has been open about in recent months, as he has also talked a little more about his own wellbeing. Speaking to The Times earlier this year, he discussed the health implications of his divorce from ex-husband Dan Neal in 2021. The Doctor Who actor told the publication during a conversation about his morning routine: 'The first thing I do is have a coffee, which has to be decaf after my heart failure four years ago. When I was getting divorced, I ended up in an ambulance twice "I have three or four cups to make myself function, and the only breakfast I have is a sachet of collagen mixed into a shake. Believe it or not, I'm very picky about what I put in my mouth; I like a tropical one." Rylan previously spoke about his struggles back in 2022, soon after his divorce from Dan. He told an audience at the Royal Festival Hall: "There were weeks that I couldn't speak. That sounds ridiculous because I can talk for England. 'My mum was genuinely concerned at one point that I'd had a stroke. It was like my body had shut down. 'Twice last year I ended up back in an ambulance because my heart had failed, and it was really strange because I just remember for a couple of weeks going, 'My heart hurts.'"
