Jordan Newsa day ago
U.S. President Donald Trump signed a new law on Saturday regulating the trading of stablecoins, a type of digital currency pegged to stable assets like the U.S. dollar. The move marks the most comprehensive step yet toward regulating the emerging digital financial sector in the United States. اضافة اعلان According to Bloomberg, the law establishes a preliminary regulatory framework aimed at consumer protection and setting clear rules for stablecoin transactions. The legislation received bipartisan support in both the House and Senate, aligning with the administration's ambition to position the U.S. as the global capital of cryptocurrency.
Additionally, the U.S. House of Representatives passed two more bills on Friday to bolster the legitimacy of the digital asset market. One of them proposes a new market structure for crypto trading, while the other prohibits the Federal Reserve from issuing any central bank digital currency (CBDC). These bills are expected to move to the Senate in the coming days for further legislative action.

Arrest Obama: Trump shares AI video of Obama being put in prison

Published July 21st, 2025 - 09:09 GMT ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump has once again sparked debate on social media after taking to Truth Social and sharing a video of an AI-generated Barack Obama being arrested by FBI agents and sent to prison. The video, which originated from TikTok, featured several other democratic politicians, including former US Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama, saying "No one is above the law!" The AI-generated clip at the end of the video showcased Obama being handcuffed by FBI agents in the Oval Office as Trump smiled while Y.M.C.A. by the Village People played in the background. The clip sparked widespread controversy on social media with users deeming it "unprofessional" and "disrespectful" for a president to post a video of this caliber on his official socials. Trump has been going full 4Chan over on Truth is sharing AI videos of Obama being arrested and thrown in Trump just trolling? Or is this soft disclosure? Are we being primed for arrests? — Clandestine (@WarClandestine) July 21, 2025 The video stems from previous posts made by Donald Trump on Truth Social discussing several topics, including the "Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax," which indicates that Russia reportedly interfered in the 2016 presidential elections in favor of Trump. Additionally, Trump recently went viral after making a long tabloid-style post on Truth Social urging his supporters to stop accusing him of ties to Jeffrey Epstein and his notorious list. The video generated quite a buzz with reposts flooding other social media platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter). Oil prices little changed as investors eye impact of new sanctions on Russia

Ammon News - Oil prices were little changed on Monday as traders assess the impact of new European sanctions on Russian oil supplies while they also worry about tariffs possibly weakening fuel demand as Middle East producers are raising output. Brent crude futures climbed 6 cents to $69.34 a barrel by 0344 GMT after settling 0.35% lower on Friday. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude was at $67.51 a barrel, up 17 cents, following a 0.30% decline in the previous session. The European Union approved on Friday the 18th package of sanctions against Russia over the conflict in Ukraine, which also targeted India's Nayara Energy, an exporter of oil products refined from Russian crude. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Friday that Russia had built up a certain immunity to Western sanctions. The EU sanctions followed U.S. President Donald Trump's threats last week to impose sanctions on buyers of Russian exports unless Russia agrees a peace deal in 50 days. U.S. tariffs on European Union imports are set to kick in on August 1, although U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said on Sunday he was confident the United States could secure a trade deal with the bloc.
