The trailer, which was first shown to industry insiders at CinemaCon in April, returns audiences to the breathtaking world of Pandora. It introduces two new Na'vi clans –the Wind Traders and the Fire People. The Wind Traders are seen soaring through the skies in balloon-like airships, while their adversaries, the Fire People, command flying beasts into battle. A dramatic clash unfolds between the two tribes, with one Na'vi struck by a flaming arrow.
In the trailer, Sam Worthington's Jake Sully is heard telling his wife Neytiri (played by Zoe Saldaña), 'We cannot live like this, baby. We cannot live with this hate."
The storyline picks up after the events of Avatar: The Way of Water, which saw Jake and his family seek refuge with the Metkayina, an ocean-dwelling Na'vi clan, as they battled against the human-run Resources Development Administration (RDA). In this new chapter, the narrative shifts to a rift within the Na'vi themselves, as the Ash People – a rebellious faction – turn against Jake's tribe and their sacred traditions.
With both Avatar (2009) and The Way of Water (2022) surpassing $2 billion at the global box office, the franchise already boasts the first and third highest-grossing films of all time. If Fire and Ash follows suit, Avatar could become the first film series with three entries each crossing the $2 billion mark.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is slated to hit cinemas on December 19, 2025, with two additional sequels already scheduled for December 21, 2029 and December 19, 2031.

Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With ‘Just A Friend' In Crowd: ‘Coldplay Part 2?'

Last Updated: A kiss cam moment between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR head Kristin Cabot has sparked a wave of memes, videos and viral reactions online. There was a time when hearing 'Coldplay" meant thinking of magical concerts, full of lights, music and emotion. That still holds true (kind of). But lately, the word instantly brings up the viral kiss cam moment from the band's recent concert. The one that sparked rumours of an alleged affair between Astronomer CEO Andy Bryon and HR chief Kristin Cabot. Since then, the Internet has exploded with memes, videos and whatnot. Now, comedian Max Amini has joined the fun in his own way. He recently shared a video from his Mumbai show last year that features a hilarious interaction with an audience member. 'I have this one guy here, such a gentleman here with the glasses and the baseball cap, yeah? I feel like you were hiding. Why are you wearing sunglasses inside the auditorium?" Amini says as he points to a man in the crowd. The man replies, 'I forgot to switch out the glasses." To which Amini adds, 'I'm glad I talked to you because you couldn't even see me. Now, you're like – 'Oh s***! I am at Max Amini show.' He forgot." Amini pauses, grins and goes, 'All you of Indians – Player! Player! Everybody's out with their friends." Then, with a playful jab, he adds, 'Naman, very beautiful friend. Does his wife know you're hanging out?" while the audience bursts into laughter. Amini ends the conversation with, 'Well, he puts on the glasses, he thinks nobody sees." The video was shared with the caption, 'If only the Coldplay couple knew sunglasses could keep them undercover! This guy came prepared." Watch The Clip: As the video gained traction, the comments section was filled with references to the Coldplay moment. One user wrote, 'Coldplay Part 2." Another joked, 'Coldplayed – but he didn't duck and she didn't hide her face." 'Now every show is turning into Coldplay," someone said while a viewer added, 'Coldplay of standup comedy!" 'Max did it before Coldplay," a person said. An individual jokingly questioned, 'Why should Chris Martin of Coldplay have all the fun?" Max Amini is a globally touring stand-up comedian who has appeared on popular shows like NBC's Heroes, Netflix's Real Rob with Rob Schneider and Comedy Central's Mind of Mencia. view comments Location : Delhi, India, India First Published: July 28, 2025, 10:17 IST News viral Comedian Roasts Man Attending Show With 'Just A Friend' In Crowd: 'Coldplay Part 2?' ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps' scores Marvel's first $100 million box office opening of 2025

With final domestic figures being released Monday, this list factors in the estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore read more LOS ANGELES (AP) — Marvel's first family has finally found box office gold. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' the first film about the superheroes made under the guidance of Kevin Feige and the Walt Disney Co., earned $118 million in its first weekend in 4,125 North American theaters, according to studio estimates Sunday. That makes it the fourth biggest opening of the year, behind 'A Minecraft Movie,' 'Lilo & Stitch' and 'Superman,' and the biggest Marvel opening since 'Deadpool & Wolverine' grossed $211 million out of the gate last summer. Internationally, 'Fantastic Four' made $100 million from 52 territories, adding up to a $218 million worldwide debut. The numbers were within the range the studio was expecting. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The film arrived in the wake of another big superhero reboot, James Gunn's 'Superman,' which opened three weekends ago and has already crossed $500 million globally. That film, from the other main player in comic book films, DC Studios, took second place with $24.9 million domestically. The box office success of 'First Steps' and 'Superman' means 'the whole notion of superhero fatigue, which has been talked about a lot, can I think be put to rest. I always say it's bad movie fatigue, not superhero fatigue,' said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst for data firm Comscore. 'First Steps' is the latest attempt at bringing the superhuman family to the big screen, following lackluster performances for other versions. The film, based on the original Marvel comics, is set during the 1960s in a retro-futuristic world led by the Fantastic Four, a family of astronauts-turned-superhuman from exposure to cosmic rays during a space mission. The family is made up of Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), who can stretch his body to incredible lengths; Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), who can render herself invisible; Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), who transforms into a fiery human torch; and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), who possesses tremendous superhuman strength with his stone-like flesh. The movie takes place four years after the family gained powers, during which Reed's inventions have transformed technology, and Sue's diplomacy has led to global peace. Both audiences and critics responded positively to the film, which currently has an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes and promising exit poll responses from opening weekend ticket buyers. An estimated 46% of audiences chose to see it on premium screens, including IMAX and other large formats. (Marvel-Disney via AP) STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The once towering Marvel is working to rebuild audience enthusiasm for its films and characters. Its two previous offerings this year did not reach the cosmic box office heights of 'Deadpool & Wolverine,' which made over $1.3 billion, or those of the 'Avengers'-era. But critically, the films have been on an upswing since the poorly reviewed 'Captain America: Brave New World,' which ultimately grossed $415 million worldwide. 'Thunderbolts,' which jumpstarted the summer movie season, was better received critically but financially is capping out at just over $382 million globally. Like Deadpool and Wolverine, the Fantastic Four characters had been under the banner of 20th Century Fox for years. The studio produced two critically loathed, but decently profitable attempts in the mid-2000s with future Captain America Chris Evans as the Human Torch. In 2015, it tried again (unsuccessfully) with Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller. They got another chance after Disney's $71 billion acquisition of Fox's entertainment assets in 2019. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD The 'Fantastic Four's' opening weekend results were a little less than some rival studio projections, Dergarabedian said. Nonetheless, the film is expected to carry movie theater earnings well into August. Holdovers dominated the top 10, but one other newcomer managed to make the chart. The dark romantic comedy 'Oh, Hi!' earned $1.1 million from 866 screens. 'Jurassic World Rebirth' landed in third place in its fourth weekend with $13 million, followed by 'F1' with $6.2 million. The Brad Pitt racing movie also passed $500 million globally. 'Smurfs' rounded out the top five with $5.4 million in its second weekend. The box office is currently up over 12% from last year. With final domestic figures being released Monday, this list factors in the estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters, according to Comscore: 1. 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps,' $118 million. 2. 'Superman,' $24.9 million. 3. 'Jurassic World Rebirth,' $13 million. 4. 'F1: The Movie,' $6.2 million. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD 5. 'Smurfs,' $5.4 million. 6. 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' $5.1 million. 7. 'How to Train Your Dragon,' $2.8 million. 8. 'Eddington,' $1.7 million. 9. 'Saiyaara,' $1.3 million. 10. 'Oh, Hi!,' $1.1 million.
