Made in Rs 35 crore, this film became worldwide hit, earned over Rs 50 crore, hasn't released in India due to..., lead actors are... Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji caused a huge uproar in India due to Pakistani actress Hania Aamir's casting in the film. The actress made certain comments on India's Operation Sindoor following Pahalgam attack that didn't settle well with the Indian audience, and was subjected to serious boycott calls in the country. Due to growing controversy around it, the makers of Sardaar Ji 3 decided to skip its theatrical release in India. On June 27, Sardaar Ji 3 released overseas and has since been making waves at the International box office. According to Sacnilk, the horror comedy grossed Rs 50 crore at overseas box office, taking its cumulative total to $6 million (INR 51 crores). North America plays a pivotal role in Sardaar Ji 3's earnings, contributing Rs 18.75 crore ($2.2 million). Pakistan comes at the second spot with Rs 7 crore ($830K) and the United Kingdom on third position with Rs 6.25 crore ($725K) collection. These figures have contributed in making Sardaar ji 3, the third-highest grossing Punjabi film in overseas history, surpassing Jatt & Juliet 3 ( Rs 57.50 crore) and Carry On Jatta 3 (Rs 46 crore). The film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark internationally in the coming days, further achieving the blockbuster status. According to Industry insiders, if the film would have been released in India it would have emerged as the biggest Punjabi movie worldwide. Despite the ban in India, Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir's collaboration turns out to be a huge success, as their film has achieved a massive milestone overseas. Helmed by Amar Hundal, Sardaar Ji 3 also stars renowned Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa, along with Diljit and Hania. Months before the Pahalgam attack in April, Diljit Dosanjh had broken his silence on the controversy and Hania Aamir's casting in the film. The singer-actor said, 'Jab yeh film bani thi tab situation sab theek tha. We shot this in Feb and then everything was fine. Uske baad, bhut saari badi cheezen humare haath mein nahi hai. Toh producers ne decide kiya ki film obviously ab India toh nahi lagegi, toh overseas release karte hain. Toh producers ka bahut paisa laga hua hai aur jab yeh film bann rahi thi tab aisa kuch tha nahi (When this film was made, everything was fine. We shot it in February, and at that time, the situation was normal. After that, a lot of big things happened that are not in our control. So the producers decided that since the film obviously can't release in India now, they'll release it overseas. The producers have invested a lot of money, and when the film was being made, there was no such issue.'

Virat Kohli's bat, MS Dhoni's gloves, pool table and more: Inside Shikhar Dhawan's super-luxurious Gurugram apartment
Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, known for his explosive strokeplay and dubbed 'Gabbar,' retired in August 2024. Today, he calls a sprawling 6,040-square-foot apartment in DLF's The Dahlias at Golf Links, Gurugram, home. Purchased for a total of Rs 68.89 crore per reports, the five-parking-slot residence offers modern amenities and panoramic city views. Dhawan's Instagram tour reveals how each corner blends cricketing pride, social moments, and design panache. Living and entertainment spaces Dhawan's living room doubles as a trophy wall gallery and social hub. The batsman's signature 'cricket wall' has MS Dhoni's gloves and Virat Kohli's signed bat sharing the spotlight. His Man of the Match and other trophies join his game souvenirs in the display, with a huge candid photo of Dhawan mid-game in the centre. The living room's aesthetic is sophisticated yet personal: a cream couch with brown accents, marble flooring, white walls, and grey curtains over ceiling-to-floor windows. A bold sakura tree painting beside the main door, along with potted plants, also adds warmth to the scene. In front of the door and the cricket wall lies a red pool table, which appears often in reels where Dhawan reenacts scenes with friends. The house's wall art shifts from spiritual to playful, from a Ganesh painting seen in a post with his father to Bollywood-themed paintings and abstract splashes. The balcony area is spacious, with a couch and many potted plants. Dhawan uses the space to meditate, as seen in Taakat's premiere episode. Other corners: Balconies, bedrooms and a very classy bathroom Dhawan's living room leads into the kitchen area, which is separated by a red and gold minibar. The swivel barstools and bright paintings create a lounge-like atmosphere. It's open, breezy, and alive with personality. In a shot with his parents, Dhawan's bedroom reveals yet another balcony, full of plants, enhancing the green continuity. The large bed, natural light, and quiet vibe suggest this is where the energy takes a backseat. A corridor, seen above, has a minimalist vibe with white walls and a mesh panel on one side. Then there's the bathroom. One picture is all it takes to confirm: it's massive. Marble sink. Wide mirror. A space designed to impress without screaming for attention.
