Suki Waterhouse talked about hospitalisation for hernia after wearing tight pants six months earlier
"'Suki you never tweet anymore,'" she wrote. "Have you ever considered I wore pants so tight 6 months ago it caused a hernia & I've been too scared to tell you?"
Waterhouse also posted a photo from what appeared to be a hospital bed and an image from her tour supporting her Memoir of a Sparklemuffin album.
Waterhouse is due to return to the stage on August 7 in Aspen, Colorado, as she continues her tour. News of her hospitalisation comes over a year after she welcomed her first child with her fiancé Robert Pattinson.
Speaking to E! News in September, Waterhouse said, "I'm just absolutely obsessed with her," adding that their daughter was "turning over, sitting up, trying to crawl, doing all the things."
Pattinson also spoke to Vogue in January about becoming a parent, saying he realised the scent of babies was unique. "I thought they were just smelling the baby powder," he said. "But then I had a baby, and I was like: 'My baby smells incredible.'"

SZA responds to Nicki Minaj's shade by sharing receipts and referencing ignored feature requests
The tension between hip-hop icons SZA and Nicki Minaj escalated this week into a full-blown social media standoff, as SZA publicly responded to what she described as deliberate shade and selective memory from Minaj. Nicki Minaj posted a cryptic tweet Tuesday that didn't name SZA directly but appeared to reference her, alongside a video of SZA attempting to greet Rihanna at the Met Gala. The tweet read: 'lol. These be the fake girl's girls who talk shit but will run u down for a photo…' ending with the hashtag #JusticeForDemoree. By Wednesday night, SZA responded candidly on X (formerly Twitter), stating: 'Nicki. You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you've asked for features twice to no response.' She also cited Minaj's previous use of her lyrics in the song Feeling Myself, pointing out: 'Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo? Lol ur having a moment… be blessed.' To support her claims, SZA posted a screenshot of what appeared to be Minaj reaching out via a mutual contact to collaborate on a track. The messages were friendly and professional—casting doubt on Minaj's implication that she doesn't know or respect SZA's work. Nicki . You absolutely know my music and what I contribute cause you've asked for features twice to no response . In addition to rapping my lyrics on feeling myself 'Cooking up the bass looking like a kilo'? Lol ur having a moment ..im not sure why but be blessed. — SZA (@sza) July 17, 2025 The phrase 'fake girl's girls' struck a chord with fans, many of whom see it as part of a broader pattern of Minaj's conflicts with female artists like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Latto. Unlike previous feuds, SZA—known for her low-drama public persona—chose to speak up this time. Fans quickly rallied around her, praising the calm yet pointed response. With screenshot receipts and lyrical callbacks, SZA reminded everyone that even the quietest voices can clap back with impact.

Exploring the viral beef between Nicki Minaj and SZA
Tensions have escalated between Nicki Minaj and SZA after a series of pointed social media exchanges that quickly captured fans' attention and fueled speculation of a deeper rift. I don't give a fuck bout none of that weird shit you popping . — SZA (@sza) July 15, 2025 The conflict appeared to begin when Minaj publicly accused rapper Punch—associated with SZA's label Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE)—of 'bullying' her on X (formerly Twitter) after she declined a business proposal. 'So glad I have proof of being bullied by AND being lied on by a man publicly,' Minaj wrote on July 15, adding that it affected her ability to work on the platform. Mercury retrograde .. don't take the bait lol silly goose . — SZA (@sza) July 15, 2025 Shortly after, SZA posted a cryptic message referencing Mercury retrograde, warning others not to 'take the bait.' Though she didn't mention Minaj directly, the 'Super Bass' rapper took it personally, responding with a jab at SZA's appearance: 'Go draw your freckles back on bookie.' Go draw your freckles back on bookie #JusticeForDemoree #DepositionPerez Liar liar pants on fire. Sounding like a fkng dead dog. — Nicki Minaj (@NICKIMINAJ) July 15, 2025 Minaj continued with more insults, criticizing SZA's looks and questioning the legitimacy of her recent career milestone—SOS becoming the longest-charting Top 10 album by a Black artist on the Billboard 200. Minaj suggested that the deluxe version of SZA's 2022 album was released primarily to break chart records rather than for artistic reasons. 'Girl bye,' she wrote, implying the move lacked integrity. Though SZA avoided directly replying to Minaj, she responded strongly to a fan who warned her about potential backlash from Nicki's fanbase, the Barbz. 'I get bullied by millions online every day then step my ass out onna packed stadium tour,' she wrote, emphasizing her real-world success and dismissing the online drama. As of now, neither artist has backed down or offered a truce, leaving fans to speculate whether this public feud will continue or quietly fade.
