The format requires contestants to use their language skills, lateral thinking, visual intelligence and memory to solve various mind boggling puzzles.
Former Countdown star Carol, 64, was perplexed by a Jack Black question in a round called Cinema Cipher.
Host Jeremy Vine explained the rules, saying: "I show you a well-known
film
title concealed by a code of symbols. Just give me the title of the
film
."
Carol and her teammate Ore Oduba were shown a selection of animal images.

Each one corresponded to letters that in turn spelled a Jack B;ack
film
title.
Some image examples included a snake, two squirrels and four butterflies.
As the two pondered over what it could be, Strictly star Ore asked Carol if she knew any Jack Black movies.
Unfortunately for their effort, the TV legend replied that she did not.

They opted to take a clue - with one of the letters being revealed to them.
The pair then discovered each of the butterflies represented the letter O.

As a result, Ore correctly worked out that School Of Rock was the elusive
film
title.

show Puzzling was set for a big shake-up.
Longtime Eggheads quizmaster Jeremy was announced to be taking over as host for the new weekly series.

Pulp takes swipe at Charli XCX during surprise Glastonbury performance – as they return to headline after 30 years

PULP have finally made their triumphant to Glastonbury's Pyramid stage after 30 years - after being revealed as mystery band 'Patchwork'. Kneecap's Glastonbury set didn't fail to disappoint on Saturday, with swaths of fans pouring to catch the Irish hip-hop trio. Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí took to the West Holts stage on Saturday afternoon and so many punters flocked to the stage that festival bosses had to shut down the area and turn fans away. It comes after calls came to remove the musicians from their set. However, while they remained, the BBC decided against live streaming the set, much to the disappointment of fans at home. Kneecap's Mo Chara told the audience "I'm a free man" when the group appeared on West Holts Stage on Saturday afternoon. At one point, a moshpit opened up for the most excited revellers, while others started up political chants of "F**k Keir Starmer" have joined shouts of "Free Palestine" and "F**k the Daily Mail". Musician Jelani Blackman joined Kneecap on stage for Harrow Road, before finishing his guest appearance with calls of "free free" to which the crows responds "Palestine".
