Tharwah appoints new financial advisor for Amjad Watan acquisition

Altharwah Albashariyyah Co.'s (Tharwah) board of directors decided to terminate the engagement with Mekyal Financial Technologies Co., the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
The board approved the appointment of Qima Financial Co. as the new financial advisor to oversee the acquisition of Amjad Watan for Exhibitions and Conferences Management (a sole proprietorship) and related procedures.
Any material developments will be announced in due course, the statement added.
According to data available with Argaam, Tharwah signed, on April 17, a binding and conditional acquisition and subscription agreement with Amjad Watan to acquire 100% of the company's shares.

Wafrah for Industry and Development Co. appointed Mohammad Almuzel as Managing Director (MD) effective July 22, through the end of the current board term on Jan. 13, 2027, and ended the assignment of Acting CEO Abdullah Al-Shehri. In a Tadawul filing, the company said the board also restructured the Audit, Remuneration and Nominations, and Executive Committees on the same date, with terms running through Jan. 13, 2027. The Audit Committee previously included Almuzel as Chairman, along with Abdullah Al-Hamood and Saad Al-Sunaidi. After the reshuffle, the members are Mohammad Alotaibi as Chairman, Badr Al-Fadda, and Abdullah Al-Hamood. The Remuneration and Nominations Committee formerly included Alotaibi as Chairman, Al-Fadda, and Almuzel. It now consists of Majed Alghufaili as Chairman, Al-Fadda, and Alotaibi. The Executive Committee initially included Saad Alotaibi as Chairman, Mohammad Al Mukhadeb, and Eyad Albunaian. It now includes Mohammad Al Mukhadeb as Chairman, Albunaian, and Alghufaili.

AICTEC receives GAC's nod on Signmax stake acquisition

Advance International Company for Communication and Information Technology (AICTEC) received a no-objection certificate from the General Authority for Competition (GAC) for its planned acquisition of a 25% stake in Signmax Advertising Co. In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that it appointed Crowe Solutions Consulting as the financial advisor for the transaction. It noted that there is no change in the previously stated cost. The company signed, on June 26, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) outlining its intention to acquire a 25% stake in Signmax Advertising Co. for SAR 3 million, according to data available with Argaam.
