CASH (4.10 Sandown, nap).
Jamie Spencer's mount can swoop late to take the Listed Gala Stakes. He was in decent form at Goodwood last time when the challenge came a little late. There are a couple of prominent racers in the field who should set it up nicely.
ELSASS (3.25 Doncaster, nb)
Went down in a tight finish here last time and can go one better for in-form Charlie Johnston. The handicapper has left his mark alone despite that promising effort and he has a lot more to offer with just four starts under his belt.
TRUESHAN (4.45 Sandown, treble).
He's nine now but looked in good form when returning with an excellent fourth in a French Group 1 last time out. It's a big drop down to Listed level from there and we know he has plenty of staying power. He won this race last year and can repeat the feat.

Despite losing the last of his world belts to Teofimo Lopez in 2023, the Tartan Tornado, from Prestonpans, East Lothian, has seen his income soar. The company owed creditors £203,382 within a year leaving Taylor with shareholder funds of £4,862,096 - a rise of more than £350,000 on the previous year's figure. Taylor set up the London-based business in August 2015 shortly after he turned professional following his gold medal win at 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games. He and his wife Danielle are the directors of the company and owns all the shares in it. The company made just £20,000 in its first year of trading. Taylor's quest to become a two-weight world champion ended with defeat to Ekow Essuman at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow in May. He had lost his previous two bouts to Jack Catterall and Lopez before making the decision to move up to 147lbs.
