Antisemitic shrink blasted for her nasty tirade at Jewish woman: ‘Germans should have ended your kind'

New York Posta day ago
A Long Island therapist has vanished from social media after allegedly ranting online to a Jewish woman that 'the Germans should have ended your kind' in a shocking outburst over the Israel-Hamas war.
The backlash has also seen Elmont social worker Gineth Nelson scrubbed from Psychology Today's therapist listings after the vile antisemitic tirade was exposed.
Efforts were said to be underway to have her removed from ZocDoc as well as other sites, and there is a letter-writing campaign calling on New York State to pull her license to practice.

Her toxic post to Instagram was made July 7, in response to a meme the victim shared, calling for the return of the dead hostages Hamas refuses to release.

'Hamas is still holding the bodies of 28 murdered hostages,' started the meme. 'These are not just numbers, they are human beings, stolen from their families even in death. Only monsters withhold the dead. This cruelty must end. Their bodies must be returned home for a dignified burial, as every person deserves.'
The victim's identity has been blurred in screenshots of the threatening, now-deleted exchange.
'And how many humans have your people killed,' Nelson asked in response. 'I'm sure its more than 28. Germans should've ended your kind. Anyone who could agree with this are the true monsters.'
'Language like this is appalling, no matter who says it, and must be unequivocally condemned,' said Eric Post, the Long Island director for the American Jewish Committee.

'At a time when Jews in this country face unprecedented levels of antisemitism, incidents like these show we all have to take a zero-tolerance approach toward anti-Jewish hatred,' Post continued.
Nelson, who is also licensed in New York City, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, could not be reached for comment.
4 Nelson's assistant told The Post her account was hacked.

She runs Whole Health Counseling in Elmont, and specializes in addiction, depression and anxiety treatment employing cognitive behavioral therapy, a common type of talk therapy.
A woman claiming to be her assistant told The Post Thursday Nelson's social media accounts had been hacked, but offered no proof of such a breach.
Online, Nelson also claims to be in the real estate business, as she sets up short-term housing for traveling nurses.
Instagram account StopAntisemitism is also urging her clients to seek therapy and housing elsewhere.
'Antisemitism has infected the therapy world at alarming rates,' offered Physicians Against Antisemitism in an Instagram post, shaming Nelson for her comment. 'This is a reminder once again to vet your medical professionals.'

Former hostage Or Levy opens up about learning of wife's murder, time with Hersh Goldberg-Polin

Former Gaza hostage Or Levy learned upon his release that his wife Einav was murdered by Hamas. Former hostage Or Levy, who was held by Hamas for 491 days, opened up about his experience in captivity, learning of his wife's murder and his time with murdered American-Israeli former hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin, in a CNN interview published on Thursday. 'It's hard to understand how difficult it is to live on one pita a day for 491 days … no human should live like that,' Levy said. 'And for the people that are still there, I know those days were even worse than what I've been through – and it's scary.' Returning to Almog and learning of Einav's murder Upon his release, Levy was able to return to his son Almog who was only 2 years old when he last saw his father. However, Levy learned that his wife Einav had been one of over 1200 victims murdered by Hamas on October 7, 2023. The young mother was killed as terrorists flung grenades into a bomb shelter. When he was greeted by an IDF representative on the day of his release, he immediately asked about Einav. 'I asked her about my wife. I told her that I think I know, but I'm not 100% certain, and that I want to know,' Levy said. 'And then she told me.' Throughout his captivity, Levy said he was too afraid to ask his terrorist captor's about the status of Einav despite his suspicions. Time with Hersh Goldberg-Polin He focused his energies on returning to his son, a strategy he said Goldberg-Polin had taught him. 'I remember Hersh telling me this sentence … 'He who has a 'why' can bear any 'how','' Levy recalled. When life in the tunnels became too difficult, he recounted how Goldberg-Polin would encourage him to think of returning to Almog. Now four, Levy feared that young Almog would not remember him - a fear that was put to rest when the two were finally reunited. Though, he explained now that he was tasked with the difficulty of explaining to Almog that his mother would not be returning. 'The story that we told – that he knows – is that a big bomb happened and that unfortunately, mom is dead and I was taken to a far place, and people were trying to get me home,' Levy said. 'So he asks – he asks about his mom, about what happened to her, about who caused it? And he asked me about my wounds. He asked me again, why didn't I take him with me to this far place?' Levy told CNN how he shares stories of Einav constantly and that he and his son look at her photos. Levy shared that while he is now free, his thoughts are still with the 50 remaining hostages in Hamas captivity. 'The fact that people are still there haunts me in the night,' Levy said. 'I think that nothing is worth more than getting those people home,' Levy said. 'I know that we need to push on to get a deal that gets everyone home and finish everything. Finish everything.'

Biden-era tax dollars funded anti-Netanyahu, judicial reform protest groups, US gov't report finds

The investigation also revealed that the administration may have funded groups with ties to US-designated terrorist organizations such as Hamas. United States tax dollars may have been used to fund protests against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's judicial reform plan during the Biden-Harris administration, an investigation published by the US House of Representatives on Thursday revealed. In March, The Jerusalem Post reported that six US and Israeli NGOs were being investigated by the House Judiciary and Foreign Affairs committees to ascertain whether funding they allegedly received from the Biden administration was utilized for the judicial reform protests in 2023. The Committee's oversight also revealed that the Biden-Harris Administration provided grant funds to groups that 'contributed directly and indirectly to the judicial reform protests that sought to undermine the Israeli government,' the investigation stated. Among the groups that received the largest amount of funding were Blue and White Future and the Movement for the Quality of Government in Israel. 'Under Israeli law, BWF's direct involvement in the protests and plots against Prime Minister Netanyahu's government 'may constitute a violation of the law and the conditions of the Registrar of Associations in Israel by 'operating outside of its stated goals' as a nonprofit organization, the investigation stated. Funding groups with ties to terror groups Additionally, the investigation suggested that the Biden-Harris administration 'potentially funded groups with ties to US-designated terrorist organizations.' Notably, the Gaza-based NGO Bayader Association for Environment and Development has received nearly one million dollars in US funding since 2016, despite 'openly collaborat[ing] with Hamas officials, including holding joint events with Hamas leaders.' The most recent grant issued by USAID to Bayader was on October 1, 2023, a week before the October 7 massacre. 'These ties are not new,' the investigation stated. 'For instance, in 2021, Bayader's annual report notes 'coordination' and 'meetings' with Hamas's Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Works, Ministry of Social Affairs, and Ministry of Agriculture.' In 2023, a Bayader staff member was seen embracing senior Hamas officials, including the son of former Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. The investigation is still ongoing, and will be expanded to include additional American and Israeli NGOs that may be involved in 'funneling US government funds with the purpose of undermining the Israeli government or for the support or fiscal sponsorship of terrorist groups.' Netanyahu, Likud call efforts an 'attempt to undermine rule of democratically elected' right-wing government Netanyahu shared the Likud Party's statement in a post to X/Twitter on Friday, calling the efforts an attempt to "undermine the rule of a democratically elected, stable right-wing government." "As part of the attempt to overthrow the government, external pressures were applied, leading to a deep social rift, encouragement of disobedience, and dangerous divisions within Israeli society." "Worse still, the document reveals that the same hand funding left-wing political NGOs in Israel also funded, through intermediary organizations, groups associated with Hamas and international campaigns against the State of Israel." "What we have been saying for years is now being revealed before everyone's eyes. This is not a theory, it is not a conspiracy – it is a proven fact backed by official documents," Netanyahu and the Likud's statement read.

An IDF soldier from the Nahal Brigade took his own life on Monday morning on a military base in the Golan Heights, the military confirmed later that evening. The soldier had fought in Gaza during the Israel-Hamas War. An investigation has been opened by the military police, and upon conclusion, the findings will be presented to the military prosecution. The IDF confirmed it would continue to support the soldier's family. Second IDF soldier to take own life this month This is the second IDF soldier to have taken his own life this month. Daniel Edri took his own life a week and a half ago in the Biriya forest near Safed, the town where he grew up. He had been struggling with severe mental health issues as he tried to cope with the pain, images, and smells that haunted him from his experiences in Lebanon and Gaza. In addition to the traumatic images, Daniel, who turned 24 last month, was also devastated by the murder of two of his childhood friends at the Supernova music festival – Eliasaf Ben Porat and Gabriel Yishai Barel. He had tried to reach Re'im to help them on October 7 but was unable to save them. Edri's family says that their deaths stayed with him and caused him ongoing pain. He was the third of four siblings and lost his father at a young age. His mother, Sigal, is urging the state to honor her son with a military funeral and burial. So far, her request has not been approved. Solve the daily Crossword
