Wales v Japan TV channel finally announced days before game as Eddie Jones refuses to move kick-off
The first Test in Kitakyushu on July 5 will be shown on BBC One Wales, while the second Test the following week in Kobe will be broadcast by S4C. The first Test will kick-off at 6am UK time, with the second Test being slightly later at 6.50am.

It's understood S4C's coverage of the second Test will have English-language commentary available on the red button.

With the eight-hour time difference, Wales will be kicking off in the middle of the afternoon in Japan - with temperatures likely to be just above 30°C in Kitakyushu this weekend.
WalesOnline understands that the BBC did try to move the kick-off back so that it wouldn't be so early in the UK.
However, Brave Blossoms coach Eddie Jones has remained steadfast on the 2pm and 2.50pm local kick-off times.

The former England and Australia coach promised to "really run Wales off their feet" in the heat.
The British and Irish Lions tour of Australia - with their warm-up matches against the Waratahs and Invitational AU & NZ side both on the same day as Wales' Tests in Japan - also made moving the kick-off time complicated, with the Lions matches kicking off at 11am UK time.

A joint statement read: "BBC Cymru Wales and S4C have announced a new broadcast deal for the live free-to-air rights for the men's two-Test tour of Japan this July.

"The first match takes place at the Mikuni World Stadium in Kitakyushu on Saturday 5 July (KO 6am) and will be broadcast live on BBC One Wales and BBC iPlayer, with coverage starting at 5:45am.
"The second Test takes place at the Noevir Stadium in Kobe on Saturday 12 July (KO 6:50am), and will be broadcast live on S4C, S4C Clic and BBC iPlayer from 6:30am. English language commentary will also be available on S4C Clic and on TV via the red button.
"Sarra Elgan will present both games across the BBC and S4C. Commentary on Scrum V Live will be provided by Gareth Rhys Owen and Richie Rees, with guests including Alun Wyn Jones and Rhys Patchell.
"On S4C, Ken Owens and Rhys Patchell will join Sarra Elgan for Clwb Rygbi, with commentary from Cennydd Davies and Gwyn Jones. Gareth Rhys Owen and Richie Rees will be on the Red Button.

This is the second year in a row that a summer tour in Japan has seen the TV broadcast deal go down to the wire.
Last year, England played a Test in Japan before their two-Test tour of New Zealand.
However, no broadcaster came forward to cover the Test before RugbyPass ultimately ended up showing the match.

Players' union boss says Sheffield Wednesday players could terminate contracts over missed payments
Professional Footballers' Association CEO Maheta Molango has confirmed that the players' union believes many of Sheffield Wednesday's senior players could terminate their contracts following the Championship club's 'serious and/or persistent' failure to pay wages on time. The four-time English champions were meant to pay June's wages on Monday but club owner Dejphon Chansiri decided to pay only the club's under-21 players, as they have the highest value in the transfer market, and a portion of the salaries owed to non-playing staff. Advertisement The Thai businessman has also paid manager Danny Rohl in full, which means Wednesday would get some financial compensation if a rival club came in for the German. Almost everyone else, though, appears to be free to leave. Under FIFA's global rules, players can terminate their contracts if they are paid late for two consecutive months, although they must give 15 days' notice in writing, during which time the clubs can rectify the situation by paying the players what they are owed. Molango, however, clarified that Wednesday's players are probably able to terminate their contracts now under the terms of the standard players' contract used in English football. 'The standard contract foresees certain situations where you would be able to terminate your contract. This is when there is a serious and/or persistent breach. This is what we will be looking at,' he said. 'Unfortunately, Sheffield Wednesday have a pattern of late payments – I think it's the third time in four months. 'We've been in touch with the players. Our role is not to tell them what they need to do, (it is) to give them the tools and say, 'this is what you could do if those criteria are met'. 'Then it is for them to assess what they want to do. I wouldn't take it for granted that just because certain criteria are met, automatically someone just terminates their contract. There are other considerations. 'It's not an easy situation, as you can imagine, because ultimately, you know, people need to be paid.' Ironically, Molango was speaking to reporters at the PFA's pre-season camp for out-of-contract players at a spa hotel near Leicester. 'For me, it's a bit shocking because normally this is stuff you see in other countries I have played in, but not in England,' added the Swiss-born Italian, who enjoyed stints with clubs in England, Germany and Spain. It's not a good situation but we hope that somehow there could be a positive resolution to it.' The EFL has already given Wednesday a three-window transfer ban for late payments to players, staff and HMRC, and has charged Chansiri for the late salary payments in March and May. Cameron Norrie rescues second-round comeback win to send Frances Tiafoe out of Wimbledon
Frances Tiafoe is the latest seed to exit Wimbledon, after British No. 2 Cameron Norrie came from a set down to record a 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-5 victory. The 27-year-old suffered the same fate as his compatriots Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula, who exited the tournament on Tuesday. But where they both lost in straight sets, Tiafoe will rue a truly missed opportunity, having put himself in the position to claim a two-set lead. After a backhand into the net and two near-beauties dropping just long, Tiafoe's chance was gone and the American never recovered. After an assured opening set-and-a-half, Tiafoe seemed to suddenly make hard work of his service games. Norrie, who reached the semifinals in 2022, started dictating with his sizzling left-handed forehand. Tiafoe's game, typically thunderous, turned flat. Norrie, though, was bullish in his attempts to close it out in four sets. Brave in his striking, he grazed the outside of the sidelines on multiple occasions to push Tiafoe wide, into the corner, and on the back foot. With Tiafoe growing frustrated by a couple of line calls in the latter stages, a break to 15 allowed Norrie to serve for the match, and he did just that. 'I was just trying to take it all in and enjoy it, smile as much as I could. It was a really nice experience today, and I was really happy with my level. The enjoyment factor was really high as well.'
