A pediatrician in Houston has been fired after making a controversial social media post about the victims of the deadly Central Texas floods that killed around 100 people. Dr Christina B Propst has been fired over a vile post suggesting that the more than 80 killed in the horrific Texas floods — including dozens of kids — were President Trump supporters who got 'what they voted for.'The pediatrician's post drew massive criticism following the disparaging, since-deleted post under her old Facebook username, Chris Tina, according to Mediaite. 'May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,' Probst wrote in the now-viral post.'Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts.' The Facebook post quickly went viral after a screenshot was shared by Libs of TikTok.Dr Christina B Propst affiliated with a prominent Houston hospital system is 'no longer employed' there, according to officials, reports The Guardian. 'We were made aware of a social media comment from one of our physicians,' read a statement from Blue Fish Pediatrics circulated late Sunday. 'The individual is no longer employed by Blue Fish Pediatrics.'The statement also said: 'We strongly condemn the comments that were made in that post. That post does not reflect the values, standards or mission of Blue Fish Pediatrics. We do not support or condone any statement that politicizes tragedy, diminishes human dignity, or fails to clearly uphold compassion for every child and family, regardless of background or beliefs.'The statement from the Blue Fish Pediatrics' did neither named nor specified whether she had resigned or was dismissed. But multiple publicly accessible social media posts identified her as Dr Christina Propst. the physician.A previous initial statement saying that she had been placed on leave was shared by the head of the Texas Medical Board, Dr. Sherif Zaafran. 'There is no place for politicization. The entire focus needs to be on looking for survivors. Any complaints we may receive will be thoroughly investigated,' he posted on X.The Texas Medical Board has not announced a formal investigation. The callous post prompted immense backlash online.'Please tell us this person is not allowed anywhere near patients in Texas?' one social media user wrote. 'We are residents here, and find this behind horrific & also very dangerous. Please help,' they added.'This is the sort of pediatric clinician employed at @BlueFishMD in Houston. The ethics, humanity and empathy illustrated here is unfathomable,' wrote another. The doctor appeared to have changed her username and profile image on Facebook since the post went viral, several X users noted. The flash flooding on the Guadalupe River in central Texas has killed at least 80 people, with 11 girls and one counselor from Camp Mystic, an all-girls Christian summer camp, still missing. The camp said in its statement: "Our hearts are broken alongside our families that are enduring this unimaginable tragedy. We are praying for them constantly."

Elon Musk slams Donald Trump over Epstein files: ‘How can people be expected to have faith if…'

Elon Musk has reignited his feud with US President Donald Trump, accusing him of inaction over the Jeffrey Epstein case and vowing to make exposing the scandal a top priority of his new political venture, the America Party. Taking to his platform X (formerly Twitter), Musk questioned Trump's credibility over the long-suppressed Epstein files. 'How can people be expected to have faith in Trump if he won't release the Epstein files?' he wrote. The comment was quickly followed by a direct confirmation that the issue will be high on the agenda for his political movement. In response to a user asking if the America Party would prioritise revealing Epstein-related information, Musk replied with a single '💯' emoji — signalling full commitment. In response to a user asking if the America Party would prioritise revealing Epstein-related information, Elon Musk replied with a single '💯' emoji — signalling full commitment. On the same day, Elon Musk escalated his criticism of Donald Trump's inaction by posting a graphic that read, 'The Official Jeffrey Epstein Pedophile Arrest Counter: 0000'. Elon Musk sarcastically captioned the image: 'What's the time? Oh look, it's no-one-has-been-arrested-o'clock again.' The jibe comes amid growing pressure for accountability following the 2019 death of Jeffrey Epstein in a New York jail cell while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges. Despite widespread public interest and speculation involving high-profile names, few significant legal actions have followed. Elon Musk's statements coincide with the announcement of the America Party, a new political outfit aiming to disrupt what he calls the "uniparty system" in Washington. He argued that the US is no longer functioning as a true democracy, but rather a one-party oligarchy dominated by financial waste and corruption. 'Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,' Musk declared, following a user poll on X in which many respondents expressed dissatisfaction with the two-party structure. The move has caused a sharp rift between Musk and Trump, who once maintained a cordial working relationship. Trump, reacting on Truth Social, mocked Musk's efforts: 'He even wants to start a Third Political Party, despite the fact that they have never succeeded in the United States... The one thing Third Parties are good for is the creation of Complete and Total DISRUPTION & CHAOS.' The falling-out marks a dramatic shift in their relationship. Musk previously served in Trump's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), even occupying an office at the White House. He was once presented with a symbolic gold key by Trump in recognition of his cost-cutting proposals. Now, Donald Trump has floated the possibility of deporting Elon Musk, a South African-born US citizen, and hinted at targeting Musk's business ventures using DOGE itself. Elon Musk has also declared his intent to support primary challengers against Republican lawmakers who recently passed a major Trump-backed bill — widening the political divide further.

Trump prevented war between India, Pakistan during presidency: Marco Rubio

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that under President Donald Trump's leadership, America prevented and ended a war between India and Pakistan. Just going through a list here Mr Presidentand all these achievements that have happened your leadership, we've prevented and ended a war between India and Pakistan, Rubio said, sitting next to Trump, during remarks at a Cabinet meeting at the White House Tuesday. Rubio also listed the peace deal between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, a 12-day war that ended with an American operation that we're the only country in the world that could have done, hopefully pretty soon a peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia." "The entire Middle East and the infrastructure of it has the potential now to change because of Syria and Lebanon. And it hasn't even been 6 months. It's a great testament to your leadership and the team, he said. A day earlier, Trump had again repeated the claim that he stopped the war, that could have gone nuclear, between India and Pakistan by telling the two neighbours that Washington will not do trade with them if they continued the fighting. We did a job with India and Pakistan, Serbia, Kosovo, Rwanda and the Congo, and this was all over the last three weeks or so and others that were ready to fight, Trump had said while speaking to reporters ahead of a bilateral dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the White House Monday. And we stopped a lot of fights. I think the very big one, frankly, a very, very big one was India and Pakistan. And we stopped that over trade. We're dealing with India. We're dealing with Pakistan," Trump had said. "We said we're not going to be dealing with you at all if you're going to fight. And they were maybe at a nuclear stage. They're both nuclear powers. And I think stopping that was very important, he had said.
