Justin Bieber His ‘Authentic Self' in New Album After Scooter Braun Split, ‘Source' Claims

is reportedly his 'authentic self' in his new album, 'Swag,' following his split from Scooter Braun. The singer made his surprise comeback on July 11 and dropped his latest project, which is already making waves on the internet. Beliebers have been basking in the Canadian musician's fresh music, and the early reactions are full of praise. A new report has now suggested the reason behind this album sounding 'so honest and vulnerable.'
Justin Bieber's latest album, 'Swag,' is already a hit among fans, as the internet is full of positive reviews. According to new claims, the music sounds especially different because it comes after the 31-year-old singer's split from his longtime manager, Scooter Braun, in 2023. Rolling Stone exclusively learned from a source that 'Swag' is 'the most pure version' of Bieber that 'we've ever seen musically.'
They stated the pop star was 'able to be his true, authentic self.' The source explained that he 'didn't have any additional voices trying to steer him in a certain direction' while working on his latest project. Bieber's new music reportedly is 'so honest and vulnerable' because it is the 'first time' in his career that he was 'able to have 100% creative freedom.'
The Rolling Stone source also claimed that Bieber wanted to part ways from Braun and his team for 'so long.' After becoming 'fully free,' the 'Baby' hitmaker reportedly was able to 'create the best body of music he's ever made.' According to the source, this is because Bieber did not have to 'stress about creating the perfect single, or perfect album.'
Meanwhile, Braun, too, praised Bieber's new musical work. Following the album's release, the 44-year-old businessman took to his Instagram Story to gush over the project. Billboard reported that Braun wrote, 'This is without a doubt, the most authentically Justin Bieber album to date.' He added, 'It's beautiful, raw, and truly him.'
Braun continued to recall working with Bieber and 'witnessing his growth for almost two decades.' The investor wrote, 'He's poured his soul into this project, and you can feel it in every single run.'

Apple's Emoji Game for News Plus Subscribers Could Be Your Latest Puzzle Obsession

Do we 💖 this? Just in time for World Emoji Day, Apple News Plus has launched Emoji Game in another indication that we will never have enough digital toys to entertain and divert us. In the new game -- available in English for News Plus subscribers in the US and Canada -- players will try to fill in the blanks of three short phrases using a selection of emoji and genmoji using as few moves as possible. For example, if the phrase is "- - - - - of my - - - ("Apple of my eye"), then you would use the apple and eyes emoji to fill in those blanked-out words. There will be clues for each of the three phrases, but if the player chooses to reveal any of the clues, that will count as a move. Game Center leaderboards will track results, and players can share their accomplishments with friends and family on messages, email and social media. "Emoji Game is the perfect addition to the Apple News+ suite of word and number puzzles, turning the emoji we use every day into a brainteaser that's approachable and fun," said Lauren Kern, editor-in-chief of Apple News in a press release. Emoji Game will appear daily in the Puzzles section of the Apple News app, and Apple News+ subscribers can also play the puzzle in the Apple Games app, which will launch later this year and will host Emoji Game as well as crossword, crossword mini, Quartiles, and sudoku. Only hours after the announcement, the r/apple Subreddit was already popping with reactions: "I wish we had that in my country. I love the nyt games Id like to try apple ones" "I just tried it, it's pretty fun" "Looks like fun!" For now the game is available in English for Apple News Plus subscribers in the U.S. and Canada and for iPhone, iPad and Mac running iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4 and macOS 15.4 or later.

Ex-ESPN star criticizes company's direction after fan complaint

Trey Wingo, a former ESPN staple on "SportsCenter" and "NFL Live," appeared to lament the direction of his former employer earlier this week in a post on social media. Wingo responded to another user on X who wrote, "Kids today don't realize it, but you used to be able to turn on ESPN and not see Stephen A. Smith or Pat McAfee. They were glorious times...." "Let me preface this by saying I have so many wonderful memories and so many great friends still working there that I want to succeed… but he's right," Wingo wrote Tuesday on X. "It used to be a glorious buffet where you could pick and choose what you wanted. Now it's like a banquet dinner: chicken or fish?" Smith has been a figurehead at ESPN for years and his popularity has only grown since he started doing "First Take" with Skip Bayless, Max Kellerman, Shannon Sharpe and others. He's appeared on NBA coverage and has his own podcast separate from ESPN. McAfee came into ESPN as one of the most popular podcasters in sports. The former Indianapolis Colts punter has feuded with ESPN execs since joining the company. But with his Q score improving, McAfee has been seen on "College Gameday" and on WWE broadcasts. "SportsCenter" is still a main part of ESPN programming in the mornings and evenings. However, the program lineup is such that it's not on throughout the mornings anymore. Wingo left ESPN in 2020 and has done work with Caesars Sportsbook and Peacock since then. Follow Fox News Digital's sports coverage on X and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
