David Beckham documents his hilarious haircut mishap
Beckham encountered a bit of a hiccup while he trimming his hair, according to a video he posted on his Instagram page Sunday, which resulted in an unfortunately placed bald spot on the top of his head.
'What have you done?' Victoria Beckham, his wife, is heard saying off-camera, to which David Beckham replied, 'it's not funny… the clipper head fell off.'
Victoria Beckham, with a laugh, went on to roast her husband, joking about how their kids will have 'hours of content' from this.
'It does not look good,' she said. 'I'm going to always be honest with you. It looks terrible.'
In the caption, David Beckham wrote that 'this happened yesterday whilst shaving my head and as you can hear my wife didn't find it funny at all.'
Referencing a viral moment stemming from the Netflix documentary 'Beckham,' where the football star interrupts Victoria Beckham's interview telling her to 'be honest,' David Beckham quipped in his caption that when it comes to his hair, she doesn't 'always need to BE THAT HONEST.'
Perhaps next time Beckham needs a trim, he'll consider visiting a professional hair stylist.

Did the Steelers overpay T.J. Watt with $123 million extension
Yahoo Sports' Matt Harmon and Charles McDonald debate the 7-time Pro Bowl defensive ends recent contract extension with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hear the full conversation on 'Football 301' - and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube or wherever you listen. View more Video Transcript T.J. Watt gets a big bag from the Pittsburgh Steelers. They gave T.J. Watt a 3-year contract extension worth $123 million. The deal, uh, includes $108 million in guaranteed money. He is now the highest paid non-quarterback in the league. Watt's coming off, like, kind of a weird end to last season. What was your, uh, did you, did this one catch you by surprise at all when you saw this job? Uh, I like, yes and no, kind of, because was T.J. Watt ever going to play anywhere else but Pittsburgh? Like, there's just no shot. He's like, he's going to die in yellow and black. It would just feel weird if he played anywhere else. So I'm not surprised that they, they extended him. I guess the amount of money was a little surprising because I thought they were gonna play hardball a little bit, like, hey, you're 31 years old. You know, usually, usually don't see NFL teams like pay for past performance like this. Because I, I mean, the chances that T.J. Watt plays at like Myles Garrett or Micah Parsons level for the next two years, like where he's guaranteed to be on the roster, seems kind of slim to me, but I also kind of don't hate the idea of like just keeping your franchise legends around as long as they're still productive players. I do think that that matters. It's got, you know, intangible value that's kind of hard to to to nail down, but it just it would just suck to not have T.J. Watt in his Steelers uniform after all that he's done for that franchise and how good he's been. And if you can kind of become one of like the name brand defenders for that franchise, like you're on track to be in the Hall of Fame. So obviously it's a guy you want to keep around, but for him to become like the highest paid non-quarterback and to get all that guaranteed money, I mean, great, that's great for T.J. I was just a little surprised that they ended up honing that up, but, um, you know, the Steelers operate a little bit differently. I, I just thought that they were going to say, hey, that stuff was in the past, and we got to pay you for what we think you're gonna be in the future. I don't think he's gonna be the best edge rusher in football, but he's still got the back for it, so what do I know? Close

Kevin Walters vows to act as three players consider walking away from Kangaroos
Kevin Walters says one of his key tasks after being appointed Kangaroos coach will be trying to convince star trio Payne Haas, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui and Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow to commit their national allegiances to Australia. Walters was on Wednesday officially named to lead the Kangaroos in the Ashes series in England at the end of the year, but he may be missing three of Australia's best players. It's understood Origin stars Haas, Fa'asuamaleaui and Tabuai-Fidow are all leaning towards representing Samoa in the post-season Pacific Championships, rather than playing for the Kangaroos in the Ashes. The trio's defection would also have major implications for next year's World Cup in Australia and Papua New Guinea. If they make the move, the star-studded trio would become the latest in a growing list of rep stars to honour family and play for the country of their heritage, rather than the nation where they were born. NSW Origin stars Jarome Luai and Stephen Crichton are among the highest-profile stars to pledge their allegiances to Samoa, who would be even stronger with the addition of Haas, Fa'asuamaleaui and Tabuai-Fidow. Walters understands the importance of family to many of the Australian-born players with Pacific Island backgrounds, and would be fully supportive of the trio if they decided to defect from the Kangaroos. But he's definitely keen to speak with the three Origin superstars and try to convince them to play for Australia. RELATED: Madge spills family detail that has Walsh and Broncos primed for finals Panthers fans divided after Ivan Cleary forced to axe grand final hero Teammate responds amid calls for NRL stars to cop ban from Origin Kevin Walters hoping to convince star trio to play for Australia "In time I will, but that's probably not a conversation for today," he said. "I just want to explain to those players that are contemplating, I totally understand their situation, but let's get the Kangaroos opportunity in front of them and see where they're at with that. We move forward from there." Tabuai-Fidow represented Samoa in one World Cup match in 2022 and won the 2024 Pacific Cup with Australia. And Fa'asuamaleaui was a key part of the Kangaroos' 2022 World Cup-winning squad. He did play a Test for Samoa in 2019, but has represented Australia in his past seven Tests. All four of Haas' Test matches have been with Australia. But Walters says regardless of the outcome around the star trio, the Kangaroos will still remain strong. "One thing about the Australian rugby league team is that there's great talent. We know that," he said. "So if some players elect to play for Pasifika nations or whatever nation, we've got plenty of depth here in Australia. Obviously we want the best players available. It's been a terrific State of Origin series with great talent on show from both states, so I'm sure we'll get a very strong 22 to take on the English in October and November." Kevin Walters excited by 'once-in-a-lifetime opportunity' Walters is tasked with succeeding Mal Meninga after the former Kangaroos coach stepped down to take charge of the Perth Bears, who enter the NRL in 2027. The former Maroons and Broncos coach won a World Cup with Australia as a player and said it was a 'dream' to be handed the Kangaroos role, with the 12-month deal putting his aspirations to coach again in the NRL again on hold. "Certainly. At the moment, my focus is the Kangaroos," Walters said. "It's a 12-month contract so it's the opportune time for me to come in and get some hard work done and then prepare these guys for what will be a very tough series. "When that phone call came to ask if I would be interested in coaching the Kangaroos, the hairs on the back of my neck really stood up and bristled. As a kid, you dream about... playing for the Kangaroos, which I was fortunate enough to achieve, and now to be given the opportunity to coach them, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity." Walters coached Queensland to two State of Origin series wins out of four and was at the helm of Brisbane when they reached the 2023 grand final before being sacked at the end of last year. If he leads the Kangaroos in a successful Ashes tour of England, there is a strong chance Walters would be retained for next year's World Cup.

'History again' - Bonmati celebrates as Spain set up Euro final against England
Spain star Aitana Bonmati said her team planned to take some time to celebrate reaching their first ever European Championship final following Wednesday's extra-time win over Germany, before quickly turning their thoughts to another title decider against England. "We have made history again, beating Germany for the first time and reaching a Euro final which we had never done before," a smiling Bonmati remarked after her extra-time strike secured a 1-0 victory in Zurich in the semi-final clash. "We feel proud to be part of this generation of players that is achieving so much, but this is not over yet," added the reigning Ballon d'Or winner before the Spain squad headed back to their training base in Lausanne, on the shores of Lake Geneva. "They are already tearing things up in the dressing room and there won't be much silence on the bus journey back to Lausanne. "We will enjoy this but tomorrow we need to start thinking about England." The game on Sunday in Basel against the reigning European champions will be a rematch of the 2023 World Cup final, when Olga Carmona scored the only goal to hand Spain the title. England will have had an extra 24 hours to prepare for the match after beating Italy in their semi-final on Tuesday, although they needed extra time to win that match having been taken all the way to penalties against Sweden in the quarter-finals. "I know they played twice 120 minutes but we knew today could be a long match and it was," Bonmati said, in English. She knows that England's substitutes -- notably Chloe Kelly and Michelle Agyemang -- have had a major impact in each of their knockout ties en route to the final, but insists Spain can trust in their own squad. "We believe in our players, the 11 starters, but we also have a lot of players on the bench who can do better in the second half or in extra time. We have a big squad and we trust all of them," she said. "England have a lot of players that we have faced a lot of times -- we know them and they know us so we have to prepare the best way we can to win." as/rcw
