Jordan Armed Forces Open Recruitment for High School Graduates The General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army / Directorate of Personnel Affairs / Military Recruitment Center has announced the opening of recruitment for a number of male applicants holding a passing General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) in the Scientific or Literary streams, for the position of Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), under specific conditions. اضافة اعلان Application Process: Interested individuals must apply online through the official website of the Directorate of Personnel Affairs / Military Recruitment Center:
https://dpatajneed.jaf.mil.jo The application portal will be activated free of charge starting at 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 1, 2025, and will remain open until the evening of Sunday, June 15, 2025. Applicants who meet the requirements will be contacted via SMS, either through the website or to the phone number they provided in their application. Eligibility Criteria: Nationality: Must be Jordanian. Age: Must be at least 18 years old, born no earlier than January 1, 1995. Education: Must hold a passing Tawjihi certificate in either the Scientific or Literary stream, with a minimum average of 65% and a score of at least 70% in English. Height: Minimum of 160 cm, with weight proportionate to height. Health: Must be medically fit for military service. Interview: Must pass a personal interview conducted by the specialized committee. English Proficiency: Must pass the English language test. Character: Must have good conduct and no prior convictions of felony or moral misconduct. Service History: Must not have previously served in any military or civil capacity in the Jordan Armed Forces or security services. Required Documents: Personal Details Form: Completed as per instructions; will be sent via SMS from the Recruitment Center. National ID: Valid, non-expired magnetic ID + certified copy. Tawjihi Transcript: Original or certified copy. Recent Photos: Four (4) passport-sized photos (4x6 cm) with white background. Birth Certificate: Original or certified copy. Family Book: Certified copy of father's page or certified death certificate showing father's place of birth if deceased. Military Service Book: With valid deferment. Military Parent Proof (if applicable): Original or certified copy of retirement decision, or written proof that a parent is currently serving, injured, or martyred in military/security forces. Application Fee: 12 JOD for application and medical examination fees. Important Notes: All data must be accurately entered through the website, and all documents must be uploaded in PDF format. Applications submitted outside the official portal will not be considered. Any application that does not meet the stated criteria, is incomplete, or contains uncertified documents will be rejected.

Minister of Youth and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Service, Engineer Yazan Shdeifat, on Saturday launched the registration link for the award's third cycle via its official website. The announcement took place during the launch of the 2025 Hussein Youth Camps for Work and Construction. Shdeifat noted that the award, launched by Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II in 2021 to mark International Volunteer Day, aims to promote a culture of volunteerism, encourage initiative, innovation, and excellence in voluntary work, and recognize the efforts of individuals, volunteer teams, and contributing or supporting institutions in achieving sustainable development. The award's vision and mission focus on excellence in volunteer work to serve the Jordanian community, expanding the culture of volunteerism, enabling individuals and institutions to apply excellence standards to their volunteer projects and initiatives, and motivating and honoring outstanding contributors while highlighting their success stories. The award is built on three core principles: recognition, motivation, and encouraging healthy competition among individuals and institutions to deliver impactful volunteer work and share best practices. It also emphasizes values such as giving, leadership and innovation, equal opportunity, social responsibility, transparency, sustainability, and motivation. Applicants can compete in one of four categories: Best Distinguished Individual Volunteer Work, Best Distinguished Volunteer Team, Best Distinguished Volunteer Project (Corporate Social Responsibility) for for-profit institutions, and Best Distinguished Volunteer Project for non-profit institutions. Eligible fields for volunteer work include social, health, educational or training, sports, arts and culture, environment, tourism, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Registration for the award will remain open until the end of August. The evaluation of submissions will follow three phases: initial screening, desk evaluation, and field assessment. Finalists will be selected based on the award's criteria, which assess initiative planning, execution, sustainability, impact, and results. Winners will compete for 12 awards across all categories, with the top three entries in each category receiving awards. All applicants will receive a certificate of participation in recognition of their contributions to volunteerism. Ammon News - Today, Saturday, marks the 31st birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, the eldest son of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, and the 42nd-generation direct descendant of Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him). His Royal Highness was born in Amman on 19 Muharram 1415 AH, corresponding to June 28, 1994. HRH the Crown Prince, who holds the rank of major in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, graduated in 2017 from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom. HRH completed his High School education at King's Academy, Jordan, in 2012 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in International History from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C, in 2016. On July 2, 2009, a royal decree was issued naming His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Jordan. Since then, His Royal Highness has also assumed the role of Regent to His Majesty King Abdullah II on several occasions. On June 1, 2023, His Royal Highness married Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein. On August 3, 2024, Their Royal Highnesses welcomed their firstborn daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
