Neil Lennon backs Rangers loan star to make a big impression at Dunfermline: ‘I like his size'
'He's very good,' said Lennon of the 6'3'' Munn, who is under contract at Rangers until 2028.
'He's got good size and he's a good shot-stopper. He is very talented and he needs to play.
'A bit like Tobi was last season, it's a young, quality goalkeeper coming in.
'I like his size. We've worked with big goalkeepers before and sometimes they make saves other goalkeepers can't make.
'We're pleased to have him and I think he's pleased to be here – and hopefully it's a marriage of convenience for both.'
Donaghadee man joined the Gers from Glentoran in 2022, making his first team debut in 5-0 win over Fraserburgh in the Scottish Cup earlier this year. He is under contract at Ibrox until 2028.
The 19 year-old's father Jon Munn was a talented Amateur League goalkeeper, spending the majority of his career with Millisle outfit Abbey Villa with a brief stint in the Irish League with Ards.
Munn's Rangers teammate Ross McCausland is edging towards a permanent Ibrox exit. The Northern Ireland international has been linked with several MLS clubs, with St Louis City now emerging as favourites to secure the winger's signature.
Elsewhere, League One outfit Plymouth Argyle have joined Blackpool in the race to sign Nottingham Forest and Northern Ireland forward Dale Taylor.
There's also more bad news for another Northern Ireland international. Cambridge United striker Shayne Lavery will miss the first month of the season with a hamstring problem. The injury may rule the ex-Linfield man out of September's World Cup Qualifiers with Luxembourg and Germany.

The Dutch defender now appreciates what new signings from abroad must feel when they arrive in the Netherlands Robin Propper has hinted that the Rangers dressing didn't have the team spirit he was expecting and now knows exactly how foreign imports feel when arriving in Holland. The Dutchman lasted a year at Ibrox before returning to the Netherlands and his previous club this week. And he seemed to suggest that the Gers dressing room wasn't exactly big on ensuring new faces from overseas were fully integrated, and it's made him appreciate the team spirit that exists in Enschede. "It was an eye-opener for me," Propper told the club's YouTube channel. "I wasn't aware of how foreign boys feel when they come to the Netherlands (before Rangers). I think they need attention and time. "You have to be constantly involved within the team. I have noticed that abroad it is different. "The team spirit here at Twente is so strong. That has been a huge strength at Twente. I realise now that it has to be kept in check. You have to invest in that. "You have to involve all the boys. That is one thing I want to take with me to the future." Propper's exit dragged on as he negotiated with Rangers over the terms of his departure with a year still left on his deal. But he insisted he enjoyed "beautiful moments' in light blue and is glad he had his year in Govan. Propper added: 'It was a long wait. I wanted to know how it would go with Rangers. A lot happened there and I wanted to see how it went. 'I did pre-season and I played matches there. I don't think I missed much in terms of fitness 'Of course I want to say that I had a great adventure at a beautiful club with a rich history. I always wanted that in my career. I think I want to look at a different mirror after a while. 'I can say that I have done that now. It felt really good to come back to the club where I really wanted to be - where I felt at home. The first two days I immediately felt the feeling. 'In a year you experience a lot. I have noticed that now. In a foreign country, certain things are different. I'm glad that I was able to experience that. 'I played a lot of games. I had a lot of beautiful moments. Also a little less. In a year like this you experience so many things. 'You have to experience that in your career. The way you deal with other people, you learn from that. I am very happy that I was able to do that."

Hamza Igamane to Feyenoord 'leak' sparks Robin van Persie rage with Rangers alert to Lille confession
The boss in Rotterdam has been left irked by the murmurs over deals escaping the Feyenoord inner circle Rangers striker Hamza Igamane is on Feyenoord's shopping list - but the latest set of transfer murmurs around the Dutch giants has resulted in fury from boss Robin van Persie. The Scottish Premiership side have stood firm on their £15million valuation of the 22-year-old so far this summer amid ongoing interest from Lille - with Everton, Stade Rennes and Udinese also among the clubs on alert to a deal this summer. The Moroccan international has already agreed personal terms over a move but talks are deadlocked over the valuation of the Ibrox chiefs just a year on from his £1.7m move from AS FAR. But amid fears over a leak inside the Feyenoord camp after interest in Igamane and losing out on the signing of Valentin Gomez to Real Betis, the former Manchester United and Arsenal striker told VI: "What I personally find annoying, and I want to express this, is that quite a lot of things leak at Feyenoord. "I really hope Feyenoord supporters realise this; it hinders potential transfers. Because it simply hinders potential transfers. "That's happened several times now. I'm not saying that every scoop is spot on, because sometimes they're wrong, but it doesn't help the club. "That makes the job very difficult for Dennis te Kloese (technical director) for example. "Suppose we're working on a transfer together, and it leaks out too early, then the Feyenoord supporters who leak it have to take into account that this will have a negative impact on a potential transfer for their club. "He missed a lot of pre-season, and he's been really trying hard to catch up fitness wise. Only Celtic switch up for Rangers Champions League congestion can soothe Premier Sports Cup fixture headache

Both entered the League Cup at the second round stage along with the other European qualifiers from the Premiership. But it's the big two's Champions League qualifiers that could throw a spanner in the domestic works in terms of both playing in Glasgow on the same weekend. Holders Celtic are at home to top flight new boys Falkirk while Russell Martin's side host Alloa Athletic at Ibrox on the weekend of August 16/17. Gers take a 2-0 Champions League second round qualifying first leg lead to Athens this week, looking to finish the job against Panathinaikos. Do so, and they will face either Servette or Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round. It's not unthinkable that they will book a spot in the playoff round alongside their city rivals, leaving both 180 minutes away from the lucrative league phase. The first legs of those ties will be played on Tuesday August 19 and Wednesday 20, with the Premier Sports Cup fixtures being played the weekend prior. That's still a while away, but it won't be known if Rangers make it before the TV picks for the domestic cup clashes are made. That rules out the Sunday with at least one of them set to play on the Tuesday, and assuming Police Scotland don't go for staggered kick-offs on Saturday August 16, then the most obvious solution at this stage looks like Celtic hosting the Bairns on Friday 15. There is a precedent for both to kick-off on their own respective patches at the same time, however. July 2022 saw the Light Blues host Tottenham Hotspur in the friendly while Norwich City were across town at Celtic Park. Both games kicked off at 3pm on the same day in the same city - which was the first time that had happened since January 1999. Just under 38,000 watched Rangers beat Stenhousemuir 2-0 in the Scottish Cup while over 42,000 were at Parkhead to see the Hoops see off Airdrie 3-1.
