Ministry of Social Affairs Condemns Zionist Aggression on Sana'a Airport
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, along with its affiliated units, condemned the crime committed by the Zionist enemy in targeting Sana'a International Airport.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the Ministry explained that the bombing of the airport runway and a Yemeni Airlines civilian aircraft with four airstrikes is part of a series of crimes perpetrated by the Zionist entity in Yemen and Palestine, deliberately and systematically targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
The Ministry described the targeting of a civilian aircraft scheduled for pilgrimage transport and medical evacuations abroad as a heinous crime and a blatant violation of international laws and conventions.
The statement called on the international community and humanitarian organizations—foremost among them the United Nations—to shoulder their humanitarian and legal responsibilities toward the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, who are being subjected to crimes against humanity. It urged action to stop the Zionist entity's attacks.
The Ministry also called on free people around the world to protest the crimes and violations of the Israeli regime, to pressure governments supporting the Zionist entity, and to initiate steps toward holding war criminals accountable.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen's right to respond to the Israeli aggression and reiterated the steadfast support of the Yemeni people for the Palestinian cause, rejecting the ongoing genocide against the people of besieged Gaza.
