In a tragic twist, it has now come to light that her last post on X (formerly Twitter) was a heartfelt tribute to her Bigg Boss 13 co-contestant and former partner, Sidharth Shukla.
Sidharth, who won the thirteenth season of the reality show, had passed away under similar circumstances in 2021 due to a cardiac arrest. On his death anniversary, Shefali Jariwala shared a throwback photo of the two hugging warmly during their Bigg Boss stint and wrote, 'Thinking of you today mere dost @sidharth_shukla." The post has gone viral amid the heartbreaking news of her own passing.

In a past interview with BollywoodLife, Shefali had spoken about their evolving bond after the show. 'See, initially we bonded and then we had a bad fight. After he came back from the secret room, our equation got better. Both of us are very logical people. Also, we have similar interests, we would talk about travel, space, bullet trains and what not. Even after we stopped dating, we were always cordial whenever we bumped into each other," she had said.
Shefali and Sidharth were in a relationship over 15 years ago. Since 2014, Shefali had been happily married to actor Parag Tyagi.
She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence on Thursday. Parag rushed her to the hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Heart-wrenching visuals showed Parag breaking down outside the hospital. Her body has been sent for post-mortem, and results are expected by morning.
The family is yet to release an official statement. Meanwhile, fans continue to mourn the loss of yet another beloved Bigg Boss star.
